I bought a Toyota Yaris in early November.

I bought a Toyota Yaris in early November. I still have not received my permanent license plate or tags. I had to call multiple times every month to request new temporary tags. Then in April I was told by Vroom that I exceeded the maximum number of temporary tags allowed and since they are still having trouble issuing me my license plate they would be giving me a rental. After a month of driving the rental I was sent an email saying they would be closing my rental because they knew the DMV would be issuing me out a licenses plate soon. (Still no plate) I then called customer support and received verbal confirmation that my rental extension would be approved because I still had no plates. I hadn't heard from Vroom in a couple weeks for an update., so I called. It turns out they denied my approved verbal request from their customer service department and now they are trying to have me pay for a rental. This is the shadiest company I've ever bought a car from and their customer service, title & registration process is terrible. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!

What an absolute nightmare. I purchased my vehicle Feb 2022 and have yet to receive an answer on my title and registration. No one will direct me to a manager, multiple cases have been opened with zero communication after. It's such a disaster. I cannot even drive the vehicle I paid for in full. Do not buy from them. The process is easy at first and then a complete nightmare. No resolution as of today, June 16, 2022 and no one has reached out to me once.

I've heard this so many times, been put on hold, no emails, no title, nothing. Someone will surely be "back with me in 2-3 business days".

Sold 2 vehicles to vroom and both experiences have gone through flawlessly. With prompt payment after vehicle being picked up. I admit I was nervous sending the title before payment but the experiences have both been super.

Hands down, the WORST experience in buying any vehicle, period, and it isn't even a close competition. Where to start - purchased on 10/2021 and here we sit 6/2022 and STILL NO TITLE SENT TO DMV and NO REGISTRATION HAS OCCURRED! After repeated calls and emails and "cases" opened, we finally received a rental vehicle (which is subpar at best compared to the vehicle we purchased and cannot use) in April of 2022. I had to involve my lienholder as they do not have the perfected title yet and they put some pressure on as well. FINALLY, we were "assigned" a title person but the continuous answer we receive is "we have to put in a case to have people research." Here we are, 8 months later with no title and it took them 7.5 months to even get to that point. Next steps will not be fun for either party. DO NOT BUY FROM VROOM READ REVIEWS THERE ARE TITLE ISSUES EVERYWHERE! This is an example of how NOT to run a business. I will be filing complaints with DMV, Better Business Bureau, etc.

Worst experience ever…. Even worse than going to a dealership actually this is the first And last time i will buy a car from vroom been waiting for my car for over 3 weeks every time i call they said that that i have to wait when i ask for help one of the car specialists hung up on me and now after im finally done with all the paperwork i still waiting for some delivery company to call, it suck that they dont even have a supervisor that actually can help you better just a bunch of people with a really strong accent that you can’t really understand over the phone… no been mean but this is your 2nd biggest investment, you need to have a clear understanding and comunicación before paying several thousands of dollars, at this point im just waiting to see what happens without any kind of help and if the do sent me the car and i have more issues ill have to go to the arizona better business bureau and put a complaint all this is unacceptable and if i were you ill go to a nearby dealership and get ripped off… believe me it will be better and will save you a lot of headaches and time DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM VROOM

PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!! Seriously the worst car buying expereince I've ever had. I've had my car since March, still no title! I didn't even use their licence feature. I sent them cash, and all they have to do is send me the title. It is now June 13th, 4 weeks in a rental, and still no title. The sad thing is, I'm not the only one. Please take heed to all the horror stories out there. It is an awful experience to live through. The worst part is that if they can't find your title they start pressuring you for a buy back. Well guess what folks, inflation has taken the price of the car through the roof. Of course they want to buy your car back, they can sell it for more! I don't know how they justify treating their customers the way they do.

So if anyone is actually reading this^^^^^^^^^ Plan on reading this alot, and plan on hearing, "We'll get back to you in 48-72hrs." Then you have to call, email, fax, berate on social media, and send smoke signals, and of course nothing happens. Once you get to a level 2 or level 3 person you will start seeing some movement. Until then be prepared to be blown off in every stage of the transaction once they have your money.

Vroom!, I just don't get it.. this is an update . I finally received the title and registration inorder to get the plates over 3 mo's from the purchase time of the vehicle back in Nov 2021. Unbeknownst to me upom purchase, the cars wheel assembly (rotors), were different sizes on two of the tires ! Long story short after having repaired one of the wheels do to the brakes going bad prematurely and being reimbursed, I thought it was all over. I should of known better. One of the tires became flat and we pulled over to put on the spare and of course because of the company I bought the car from, the spare doesn't fit. Wrong spare for the car!! The lug post don't align!!! Ridiculous. Vroom , get it together!! I need a spare or reimbursement for a spare. Worst dealership Ever!!!
