My name is Natalie and my vehicle was not performing well for some time. I made an appointment and the service was excellent. Chris, in the Service department was so willing to make everything right for me. He kept me updated with everything they were doing. My car had to be kept overnight and he made sure that I had a rental car waiting for me. He has a great way with customers and makes sure that every issue is evaluated. I cannot say enough good things about him and the service that I received. Great customer care!

Bitter experience

I bought a used car (pick-up truck) on 5/12/21 from Toyota West and it’s been quite regretful. A week after the truck was purchased we had issues. It has been taken to Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet for the majority of the services because in June when taken to Toyota they could not find the leak that was causing water to get inside and all over the seats, doors, windows, it was a mess. After $550.00 the Chevrolet dealership was able to figure out the root cause of the issue. Mind you this was just a month after purchasing the vehicle. It was taken again in August 2021 for other repairs and in January 2022. In February 2022 we noted a loud noise from the engine and scheduled with Toyota West. As of 2/12/22 they confirmed the engine was bad and it needed replaced. Thankfully we bought an extended warranty that covered the engine with a deductible of $250. During this time I had to call numerous time just to get an update because the app to track your vehicles repairs provided no real time update to our truck. I had made complaints due to the lack of follow-up and lack of returning our calls. The service advisor notified us there was a delay with the reman engine and it would take a few more weeks, additional costs were added because they indicated the extended warranty did not cover it , which I agreed because I just wanted my car back. The total to pay was $688.59, though in reality I didn’t believe I should have an out of pocket cost for an engine that went bad and all of the additional add on because it should have been covered by the warranty. I finally got the call it was ready and I picked up the truck on 3/29/22 almost 2 months after it was taken in. I was charged $988.59. After realizing I was charged incorrectly this amount, I went back to service, I informed the representative and requested a refund, which was later issued for $300.00. On March 30th the check engine light turned on and the vehicle was taken again to the dealer on 3/31. The lack of communication and follow-up has been mediocre. It is absolutely terrible. The fuel injectors needed replaced and we have to dish out an additional $1200.00. My husband visited the service department on 4/25 and after meeting with what appears to be the service manager they assured him that they will take care of the repairs and we would have the truck no later than Wednesday or Thursday of that same week. It is May 3rd and not one person has called us to update us or returned any of our calls. The lack of communication and responsibility leaves much to be desired. They have failed to deliver on a promise and it speaks volume of what you word representS. Not even a year has gone by and the amount of money I have paid on repairs and service exceed over $3,500. I’m seeking help and to be heard. I have been patient enough. This has been such a bitter experience and I’m still w/o my vehicle.

In this crazy time of buying cars, I stopped at Toyota West to look at Rav4s. I saw Hossain Saadat by chance in the lot. He worked with me on getting my new Rav4. He delivered excellent service. This is the second Toyota Highlander XLE I am buying from this dealer. I appreciate Hossain Saadat, the associate who has worked with me in last few years. He listens to what we needed, he is knowledgeable, caring , straightforward, no game . Because of him I don’t go to any other dealers for the routine services even the other places are just 5 minutes from my home, I rather drive 20-25 minutes to give my business to the Toyota West because of Hossain and the rest of service department there. Hossain I appreciate what you have done with the last two cars. Toyota and Toyota West are lucky to have you work for them. Again thank for everything Toyota, Toyota West and specially Hossain Saadat for awesome service
