Found my dream Buick Enclave at Serra!
This was my first time in 30 years after purchasing 10 vehicles in my lifetime from dealerships, that I had a no-haggle, pleasant experience buying a vehicle. I would definitely recommend this dealership to all of my friends and family. From the moment I walked in, to signing the papers to purchase, I was comfortable and non-pressured the whole way through. Will definitely be purchasing my next vehicle from Serra! I have never been humiliated by a sales person the way Bill Serra did today. I came from Chicago IL to purchase a 2013 Acadia. The guy seemed profesional at first, we did a test drive and the SUV was making a vibration when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear when we came back and told him it was doing that he said he was going to have the mechanics look at it. It took him 40 mins to come back with an answer wether or not they will be able to issue the (problem). When they finally "fixed" the issue we took it for a second test drive and it was still doing the same thing after we were told the problem was "fixed". When we came back Bill Serra asked if we were going to proceed with the purchase, as soon as I said it was still shaking he took the keys from my hands and walked away saying he was done! When I asked him what he was doing? he repeatedly kept saying he was "done".I approached him saying he couldn't just turn his back on a customer and he had the nerve to tell me that "he could do what ever he wanted"! We were actually going to purchase the vehicle at our own risk in cash! knowing it was a used car and he didn't seem to care. I know for a fact you don't treat no one with disrespect and not to mention the lack of professionalism. Overall the experience was really poor and I do not recomend him as a sales person, I came to this dealership because of the great reviews but I have just witnessed the worst customer service from this person. I highly doubt the Dealership manager or higher management will do anything about it. Now to drive back 400 miles back home extremely disappointed.

I recently purchased a used vehicle and while the actual experience went well, I was left devastated after my purchase. I took the vehicle for a test drive and thoroughly inspected the vehicle to the best of my ability, I went on with the purchase and left feeling happy. On my way driving home with the vehicle, my thermometer nozzle went up above the half way mark but it quickly went back down, so I just kept paying attention to it and making sure that no sensor lights came on, so I continued home and by the time I arrived the thermometer was all the way to the top! My vehicle that I just purchased had overheated! Once outside the car I noticed coolant was coming out! The dealership was closed by that time so the next morning I immediately took the vehicle to an auto shop near my home as I felt it would be too risky to drive back to Serra, I received bad news from the mechanic and quickly called the sales person that assisted me with my purchase, I asked what my options were since the vehicle is as is and was told to bring it to the service department so they could look at it, (something they should've done from the very beginning) and the salesman was very adamant that I bring it to the service department at Serra but also bring the invoice from the mechanic detailing everything that was wrong! I asked if they would cover the repairs and was told that they'll only cover the diagnostic fee! So I inquired about getting a refund and was told that I could do an exchange for another used vehicle and if it was higher than what I paid, I would have to pay more out of pocket or find something cheaper and they'll owe me some money! I had to quickly make a decision because I needed to be able to get to work and needed a vehicle but I was hesitant about checking out more used vehicles at that dealership because of the possibility of it having similar problems or worse! I ultimately chose to pay for the repairs at the auto shop near my home as the mechanic didn't see any other issues beyond the water pump and the tie end rod. Even though I didn't have to repair everything that the mechanic initially quoted me, it was a costly expense of course. I understand it's a 50/50 deal purchasing a used vehicle, in fact I've purchased used vehicles in the past and didn't have nearly as many problems with them, especially on the same day of the purchase! I just feel like these vehicles need to be thoroughly inspected before someone makes a purchase or at least tell me what's wrong upfront so that I can make a decision on if I feel it's good enough to repair. Stop taking advantage of people that spend their hard earned money and some of us are barely making it, just for a sale. I get "as is", but even after being informed of the issue, my salesman never reached out after eagerly texting me to bring the vehicle to their service department, not his problem right! I selected Serra because it's a well known dealership and I was expecting quality and good service, but I now feel like I could've went to a small random dealership and received better! But lesson learned, I will never buy anything else there nor will I recommend them to anyone! A piece of advice, when someone is trading in a used vehicle, find out exactly what's wrong with it and just don't take the person's word! That's what you have a service department for!

Great first experience with a dealership
To my daughter to Serra Buick to buy her first car. We worked with Mike Fillinger. He was very nice and helpful. Went above and beyond to make sure she had everything she wanted in her car. It was well worth the long drive. I will recommend & will continue buying cars from Serra Buick.

I would say that this facility must of did everything the way we liked. The salesman, and the manager did everything possible to make the sales. This dealership did have the vehicle I was looking for, plus this vehicle had an acceptable color. Ken from Serra was very helpful, and friendly.

A dealer that truly gets it
This dealership and it's people are 5 star all the way. I inquired about a car and from there on it was a great experience. Alex Kelly was a no pressure, honest, truthful sales person who took all the time I needed to review the vehicle and make a decision. He knew the vehicle, knew the history, reviewed the Carfax with me, handed me the keys and told me to take my time, drive as much as I needed and take it to anyone I wanted for inspection. He never wavered or back pedaled and made me feel totally at easy about my decision. He introduced me to Mike in financing who again covered all bases, searched for the best finance deal, explained every step of the way what was happening, and made sure I understood every piece of paper I signed. There were a few details that needed attention and they were taken care of on a timely manner. When I picked the vehicle up it was clean, the paperwork was ready and the bottom line was as promised. They threw in 1/2 tank of gas, 5 months of on star, 3 months of XM radio, both fobs, both keys, and made sure I understood the options and workings of that model. Everything worked as it should and the vehicle was serviced and ready to go. All fluids were topped, tires at recommended pressure. Headphones and remote were there for the DVD player. and I couldn't be happier with the way I was treated. It is a very high volume so expect a possible wait but everyone that passed me made sure I was comfortable and in need of nothing. The facility is spotless but not cold, comfortable and I had the freedom to go anywhere I wanted. I have already recommended them to others and know I will be back for my next vehicles. I know this review sounds too positive but the experience actually was. Thankyou Serra a 5 star transaction.
