False advertising: I was charged thousands for "options"
False advertising: I was charged thousands for "options" and when questioned about it, they said it was a "market adjustment" and necessary if I wanted the car, I would need to pay it with or without getting any "options" for the money.

When I called the dealership to follow up on a vehicle I was interested in they told me they didn’t have it have any record of it. It was a worthless lead.

Purchased a 2022 Tundra yesterday. The truck was as ordered and the buying process was straight forward without hidden costs. In and out in an hour. I would recommend Larry Miller Toyota.

Okay this is a long one.
Okay this is a long one. I was reached out to by Jason the Appraiser from LHM on thursday february 24th. we had some friendly back and forth to start. I told him what I wanted and he quoted me a price that was almost 10k higher than everyone else...even those with a bunch of dealer adds (toyota tacoma TRD Sport magnetic gray 2 wheel drive. Prefer long bed but short is okay, with tech package) I didn't want anything else. After he quoted me 50k for the truck I told him I appreciated the directness but I am able to get them for about 40k after all said and done so I would move on. And I told him I did not want a 4x4 (he was quoting a 4x4) He told them they are in extremely high demand and not 4x2. A fact that i did not ask for or care about. Also all tacomas are in high demand right now so his statement was unnecessary and pointless. he then sends me a screen shot via text of a white tacoma trd sport. To which I said No white for me. I want what I want and I am able to wait. he then told me that NO one is selling Tacomas at MSRP (the first lie) as I have written confirmation from their competitor that my price is MSRP. I also don't want any Dealer adds. A few dealerships literally stopped talking to me at that point because they will only sell with ridiculous dealer adds put on. Which is a shame and just plain greedy. But they are at least honest up front. I digress, I was referred to him by a co-worker so I wanted to give jason the benefit of the doubt. He informed me that their employee price is MSRP with an LOL at the end. really LOL? Then he implied that I didn't know what I was talking about and told me to ask my friend to break it down for me since I have bought a new car and he just did. (I have the text messages as proof) I let me know I am aware of the inventory issue and told him that with the modern age there is a beauty called competition. and I have bought many new cars. I said I would be upfront and honest with him and expected the same in return. I informed him I was speaking to multiple dealerships. His response was "I've sold my cars than you've purchased trust me i know lol. take your time do your research and buy when you are ready! no one has any to sell you today" I could have bought a couple different tacomas that day if I wasn't being super picky. then told me tha "every dealer has dealer adds, I know they do but know every dealer forces you to buy them. I informed him that all my brothers sold cars so I am aware of the process. I told him I would most likely pre-buy and wait for the truck to arrive. Not on March 1 he sent me a picture of a truck they just got in. It was a TRD sport but it was Army Green (not my color) and it was a 4x4 again 2 things I said I DID NOT WANT. I said I don't want a 4x4 and his response was "even if you are never going to us 4x4, it totally worth the value but if you cant have it then check back in 60 days for the next batch". (again I have texts to prove this convo) I reply "I told you what I want. if you want to keep playing games then we can both just move on. I said I wouldn't waster your time but I also don'e want to waste mine. I don't want to play games and you keep trying to sell me on higher cost vehicles. Please stick to what I want. If we can't the I will move on to a different sales person. You were a referral so I want to give you the benefit of the doubt but it seems like you are plying sales games. (tone cannot be relected on text and in no way no intending to be a jerk)" Yesterday the 10th he reached back out and asked if I had any luck on a tacoma. I told him I havent' put a deposit down yet but was checking one out later that day. he told me they had a TRD extended cab with long bed in white....again I DONT WANT WHITE. Seriously I know there are a hot commodity and will sell out rapidly so dealerships are taking advantage of the situation. But when I tell you I don't want somehting and you keep trying to push it onto me you are only going to anger your client. also this didn't have what I wanted in packages but I could add it lol...Dude stop with the LOL you are a professional or supposed to be. I replied Magnetic gray or silver is all I am interested in and I have been quoted MSRP elsehwere and you guys are higher than MSRP I wont be coming into LHM for my truck sorry. It could have ended there but he replied in one of the worst ways a sales person can by essentially bad mouthing his competition. This is sales suicide because it makes you look weak and well sleezy. (my opinion) but that was the last straw when he told me they all quote MSRP until you arrive. I have written quotes from 2 competitors for MSRP and they already know I will not take any dealer adds that I don't want. I am all for them showing me the dealer adds but I would make any decisions. And if they gave me a price and added any dealer adds without my approval I would complain to the BBB and AG of arizona. I informed him I had alreayd written him off when he kept trying to sell me something I didn't want (4x4) after I told him what I wanted. I also informed him that other dealerships and sales people have not made any comments about what other dealerships are doing. I then told him to NOT contact me again. LHM will get a call from me later. I have bought cars from other LHM dealerships in the past and did all my service there. But they will Never get my business again because of how sleezy it felt dealing with this one particular sales rep. Shame too I as willing to put a deposit down on a truck and wait till it arrived in a couple months as I do not need a vehicle but wanted a new tacoma to replace the one I had that was totalled. I was going to write this yesterday but I was pretty angry and I wanted to take a beat so I can write down what happened from beginning to end and be accurate with my account. I have all the text messages on my phone. I am very dissapointed in this sales rep and LHM with this interaction.

I tried to call Mr. Carley 2 times both times he was "not in office" never got a call back which makes me think these responses are only to try to mitigate the damage a review can do by making it seem like they are trying to fix the issue. Just my opinion. But after dealing with multiple dealerships during this unprecedented time I have come to realize that most only care about 1 thing. Get as much now as we can. This will not breed customer loyalty. I know I have already taken my other vehicles that used to be serviced by LHM to another dealership.
Jay Carley never returned my calls which he clearly never intended to. His response clearly is merely a front to make it seem like they actually care. I gave them a shot to make it right and they didn't xxxx Mr. Carley never even called me back. Not once!!

I knew that it's a sellers market and that I would pay
I knew that it's a sellers market and that I would pay top dollar. But I asked them Please don't play games, I didn't ask for lower pricing, they gave me a good price on my trade in. But then they added a $565.00 option fee for two oil changes, two tire rotation, they would buff out any scratches. I said I didn't want it, not a choice. I asked to reduce the option to $250.00. They wouldn't. They just could not help themselves from. Taking advantage. I already agreed to paying $5000.00 more for the car than it was worth. But that wasn't enough. They earned the bad reputation that car dealers have. I will not go back to them
