Service Department SUCKS!!!
I came in to order the head of the dragon decal that came on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Dragon Edition on August 20th. The parts guy was a total xxxxxx! His demeanor and attitude was awful to say the least. He asked for the VIN number, very rudely, for which my husband immediately went to get. I asked if he could look it up under the year etc and he looked at me ugly and typed it in. Before my husband came back e we itch the VIN, the guy, Mike, said he found it and told me how much it was, $481 with tax. I said, “Ok, can you order it please?” So he did. I asked when it would come in. He said, “Monday.” So I set up my appointment to get it on Wednesday with the guy putting it on at the company I was using. I called Tuesday to be told it was not in and that whomever told me it would be here Monday was wrong because they don’t get trucks on Monday and it wouldn’t be there until Thursday. So I changed my appointment to have it out on to Friday. You guessed it, it was NOT there Thursday or the Saturday they said. So I was told that it had been sent and would be in on Tuesday. I called and was told that they couldn’t find it on the truck. I had to cancel my appointment AGAIN! Homer Skelton calls back 15 minutes after I cancel to say they found it. I take it to get it out on and it’s the wrong thing when we open the package. I called to take it back. Of course the jerk, Mike, answers and says I can bring it back if it’s not damaged. It’s not! I take it back to be CHARGED $71 to return it! Are you FREAKING KIDDING ME? You charge the custom $71 for y’all’s error? xxxx poor service! I will be writing the BBB! I’ve called the the District Manager, James Morshack, who has yet to return my call. Shocker!! Chrysler company has been called!!
Unsat service department
The service department has very poor communication and basic coordination skills. I have to do most of that for them or be lost in line. Usually have to make several calls and end up calling or going to the GM to get things done. No taxis, Uber, or rental cars in town. No follow-ups...lots of excuses why they can't provide normal service or communication. An "express" oil change and tire rotation is an all-day event. Drop off a 0915, pick up 1700. This time they forget they drove me home and didn't plan on picking me back up to get my truck, that may or may not be ready. Had to get the GM involved again. Unsat score.
Worst service department ever!
Worst service department ever! Technicians don’t seem to have the skill level to complete troubleshooting on newer vehicles. All knowledge is from the computer system. Had my 2019 Dodge Ram in for a check engine light that was diagnosed as a EVAP system leak. 8 visits later they still can’t figure out what is wrong. Got a call from the service manager when I filled out a online survey. He stated that he was sorry that I have been having a bad experience and that he would like to make it up to me. Offered a courtesy vehicle to me when it was available, but never heard back from him or anyone else. The call was just a check in the box for the dealership to say that they made contact with a disgruntled customer. Highly recommend taking all of your vehicle needs somewhere else as these guys can’t even do an oil change correctly.

I called Homer Skelton about a 2021 Jeep Gladiator listed on their website. I first inquired if it was still available for sale. Salesman April told me she would have to check and call me back. After waiting for 2 hours and April failing to return my call, I called back. This time I talked to Dernita. She said yes it was available and when could I come in to take a test drive. I drove approximately 240 miles one way to see the Gladiator with hopes to purchase it. When I arrive I was told the Jeep is in "TRANSPORT MODE", had not been serviced and I can drive it around their parking lot if I dont exceed 20 MPH. It was Friday afternoon so it was too late to be serviced or made available for purchase. I was told I could come back later to see it. I left and did not make another 240 X 2 mile trip. Extremely poor sales department to be told to come test drive a vehicle in the parking lot only if you stay under 20 MPH. Mind you this is on a $52,000 purchase where a high level professionalism should be expected from their employees.

I recently purchased a 2020 Ram 2500 with the 6.7 diesel engine. The dealership offered 2 free oil changes as a perk for buying the vehicle. On 1/11/21 I went to the dealership for my free oil change. My oil was changed and I left. After leaving I was putting the receipt in my maintenance file I noticed that the dealership used 10w 30 conventional oil. At the time of purchase, I was informed that my truck had synthetic 5w 40 Valvoline oil in it, and to stay with this weight synthetic oil for the extended oil change intervals of 10000 miles. This oil is recommended by Cummings and to use it. I don't understand why the dealership would put a 10w 30 conventional oil in place of the synthetic. I tried to contact the dealership via email and text. I haven't received a response yet. As a consumer, I try to support local businesses. Sometimes you just have to go elsewhere to get quality service. Homer Skelton Chrysler Jeep Dodge you will not be receiving any more business from me. In my opinion, You Suck. Michael Mullins
Liars and Hypocrites running Service Dept.
Do NOT take your vehicle here for service unless you're prepared to pay out of pocket for expenses that were not agreed upon. The service manager told me explicitly that "We won't charge you for anything unless we call you you first, discuss it, and we both agree on the service fee(s)." The same service manager turned around and charged me a bill when I went to go pick up the vehicle after turning it in for a recall from Chrysler. I told him I'm not paying for a recall, and he said well you can't have your vehicle until you pay us. I reported the dealership to Chrysler Customer Care and the dealership is justified, because "they're independently owned and operated, so they can charge whatever they deem necessary." These people are hypocrites and will charge you for things that you didn't ask for even after telling you they won't. Bad business with this service center. Their actions were immoral and hypocritical. I will be driving further away for Chrysler service from now on.
Recently called to talk about a vehicle, and asked why the car was so overpriced compared to other locations. I stated I would meet halfway and work with them, and was told there was no room for negotiation on a 4 year old car. I spoke with the sales "manager" who again was short and would not negotiate and then told to have a fun drive to another dealership for the vehicle. Worst sales manager ever and would never work with this place. They may have a southern accent, but there is no southern hospitality or courtesy at this place! ZERO STARS IN MY OPINION!!
Service on Dodge Journey
Took my car in for a problem I was having. They had me out in about 2 hrs with a diagnosis. Had to leave it there for parts to come in but they provided me a loaner car. Had mine back the next morning. Very pleased with the service Tim Lamar provided. Had my car 4 yrs and they have always done a good job on my maintenance.
Need to have batteries in my keys replace along with oil change. The tech Nate Wesienborn did my service. Overall the tech was friendly also answer my question about tires. Even showed me good prices on some tires along with information if I ever decided to buy tires from them.
The technician is awesome rebuilt the rear differential An it works flawlessly he was very knowledgeable he had it knocked out in no time am very pleased with the service
