Tried to add extra items to contract, hidden in the middle of all the other charges. Tried to up sale me the same thing 3 different times during the deal after I said no the first time. They just reword what they said. I already had a pre approved loan and the manager would not send the contract to my bank. Reworded everything in order to run my credit again. Told me 2.99% intrest through them was better than 3.10% intrest through my bank. The sales person had already looked me up and down and figured I could not afford the truck. He barely told me 5 things about the truck. He figured I was a tire kicker as they call them. If you do decide to purchase from them keep an eye on everything and pay attention. With everything said above I know they need to make money but if you want return customers may want to step it up. Do not see the people i worked with below so I can't rate them. I went to the dealership and purchased the truck and drove it from there.

My husband and I have been researching to buy a new truck for months. We spent numerous hours online looking at options and inventory. We were excited to see that the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trailboss was in stock at a local dealership. We visited Hampton Chevrolet on Monday and that is when we were greeted by Jordan Kent. He was great to work with, and very knowledgeable about the features of the vehicle. Unfortunately after taking the TrailBoss for a test-drive, and getting a price, our family determined that the leather package would not work for our family (especially with a higher price). We ultimately ended up purchasing from another dealership in Chesapeake. Inventory for vehicles has been low with COVID, so we had to make the decision to travel elsewhere. However our experience was very pleasant, and would definitely consider doing business with Jordan, and the Hampton Chevrolet team again!

Aftermarket Rims Severely Scratched
I am updating my review based on my horrible experiences that I have had wit the Hampton Chevrolet Service Department. I got my 2020 Blazer in September 2020. I traded in my 2018 Malibu which had aftermarket rims on it. I wanted to take my rims to the the place where I bought them so that they could take the rims off for the trade in. The dealership told me not to worry they would remove the rims and I could pick them up. When I had them picked up,my boyfriend noticed that they had been scratched on the face of the rim. He requested to speak with the service manager, Joe Bonney who basically did not claim fault, as him and boyfriend got into a very heated discussion almost coming to blows. This type of behavior is unacceptable. This is not how you talk to and treat customers, especially since First Team is a company who claims to be committed to putting their customer's FIRST! They tried tried to sweep my issue under the rug by sending me to some offsite person to paint them for me. Needless to say that did not work out and I am stuck with rims I wished to sell since they would not fit the Blazer. I was never compensated from Hampton Chevrolet. Fast forward to November 2020. I bought a new set of rims for the Blazer which had to be custom made since the Blazer has a 6 lug bolt pattern. Those rims were almost $3K. My Blazer had an issue with the radio and it was taken into the Hampton Chevy service department to be fixed. My new rim had not been on the car for more than a few weeks and when I got it back from the dealership this time CHUNKS of metal my from rims are missing. This time I requested to speak with the GM. I was told by my salesperson that both managers were made aware and someone the would be contacting me. I specifically told then that I did not wish to speak with the service manager as his customer service skills are subpar. I was told that Paul or Dustin would call me personally after reviewing the cameras. I am still waiting. Instead Joe Bonney called me again against my wishes and again my issue has not been resolved. I just want to know how many losses Hampton Chevy expects me to take? How many times will me issues be disregarded? This is very disappointing because I stand firm behind the Chevy Brand and Hampton Chevrolet is not doing them any justice. A paying customer cannot keep taking losses. MY ISSUE NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED PROPERLY with and outcome that is not in the best interested off the dealership.
