Total liers, junk cars, not worth the hassle
Like so many others I saw a decent LOOKING car at a fair price for the miles. Drove across a state to take a look and the thing was totally rusted out to the point where the running boards had actually fallen off...this thing was one pothole away from crumbling apart. Now the issue I had wasn't the junker car but the blatant lying of the representative I spoke with. Told me it had a "little surface rust". This place is the very definition of shady used car dealership. Avoid at all costs.
I recommend and here's why
Many vehicles available in all price ranges. I showed up to view a Vehicle listed here on cars.com. The vehicle was as advertised and fairly priced. Below KBB private party even. I noticed a bearing issue while driving and they took care of the maintenance at no additional charge. I have no issue recommending Car Planet. They listened to my needs and addressed all my concerns. Do your homework before buying any car from any party.
Hard no
Not a good dealership very shady and will withhold as much information on the vehicle as possible to get you to purchase also they seemed kinda racist
Just Don't
Stopped in. Don't waste your time, they are not reputable or honest. Some of the rudest USED CAR SALESMEN I've ever talked to. They have a lot of inventory crammed on their tiny lot and a lot are neglected or just downright trashed vehicles. I spoke to one of the guys over the phone about a truck, they said it was "fine." So I drove down to peek, as soon as I opened the tailgate of the truck in question the truck bed TILTED to the driver's side. This vehicle is literally being held together by its tailgate, the side panel of the truck bed lost its structural integrity. Ha! They ask high prices too for what you are buying. They will not call you back. They will dismiss you in person if you request they try to turn the key on a vehicle. They look down on women. They have no business with us, and business being in business.
Avoid at ALL costs.
Do NOT buy here. There is a reason these guys don't share CarFax's. Most of the cars on their lot had MAJOR issues, and a long history of multiple accidents and neglect. They also tend to zero in on attractive luxury cars that if you did your research you'll find they had horrible reliability from the factory. I also find it hysterical that LITERALLY every listing of theirs includes "ALMOST LIKE NEW INSIDE OUT, SUPER LUXURY" and "THIS IS ONE OF THE LONG LASTING MOST REPUTABLE RELIABLE SPORTY **insert car, truck, SUV, van, etc., here**" Their listings are all the same cut and paste false advertising. Question the sales staff on any of the above and the will turn their back and walk away. Or get the "how dare you point out the puddle of trans fluid under that Jaguar" look. Total waste of time. I can't believe they are even still in business....
They need to be shut down they sell lemon cars
I would not recommend anyone to go there I bought a 2004 Volkswagen Passat not even a week later I took it to a repair shop To have it checked the engine is blown on it they need to be sued and closed down I contacted them and I am being given the run around and I asked what was wrong he said nothing they are very crooked
only new car dealers or private party sellers.
reading there reviews was good enough for me to never want anything to do with them. i only go to new car dealers to make a purchase from.
Don't buy from car planet. RUN!!!¡!??
I brought a Chrysler pt cruiser in January 2021, and the engine went out a week later. Lost my job because of that and lost my house and lost $2800 thinking Car planet was legit.
Shady Time Wasters
Went in to test drive a car, have my mechanic check it out and apply for financing. I waited hours to hear back on financing and they were closed by the time I heard I didn't qualify by email. I called first thing in the morning and said I had cash and would be in that afternoon. I spoke with them three times that day to confirm that the car would be ready and confirm the total cost with fees, etc. because I was bringing cash. I got there at 2pm and the guy said the car was sold. I said yeah, to me and he said no, someone else just bought it. Very shady.
Bad business
Not a good place to buy shady , lemon cars for sale taking advantage of poor people they need to be sued, contact BBB , DMV investigators report bad business practices
