One of the best values out there in a V6
Tons of options 170000 miles only oil changes, air filter and tires. Cabin filter is a nice touch. Side defrosting mirrors. Great winter vehicle, 4-wheel drive.
Has major flaw cracked head
I have this car was not aware 2008 2009 were built with a design flaw of cracked head. Suzuki have acknowledged this. CYLINDER HEAD. MODEL(S): GRAND VITARA (JB) WITH 2.4L ENGINE YEAR: 2009 (START OF PRODUCTION THROUGH JULY, 1 2009) CONDITION: Engine overheating with possible Internal Engine Noise. The engine coolant may leak from the cooling jacket into the Camshaft Housing of the Cylinder Head. There will be no external coolant leak and there will likely be evidence of coolant contamination in the engine oil. CAUSE: Suzuki has determined that certain 2009 Grand Vitara vehicles may develop a crack(s) between cylinder head bolt(s) and casting plug(s). CORRECTION: A special coverage extension will apply for vehicles beyond the basi

This car met our needs For almost 9 years until it decided to accelerate on its own into a wall and total itself . Something was wrong with the electronics which cause this immediate acceleration into the wall.
