This Vehicle is JUNK & many recalls Should be done
They are extremely cheaply made. Very very hard to work on & take easily double the time. Parts are outrageous on top of that & be prepared to keep having to keep continuously poring mass amounts of money replacing the same part for the same issue. I highly WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
Most reliable cars I ever owned.
My family and I have owned many 2003 through 2010 ford Focus models from 2 door hatchbacks to station wagons and have found these cars to be remarkably reliable and even better than many imports. My son's 2007 just turned 230,000 miles. It runs and drives excellent with many more miles to go. That's what regular maintenance can do for any car.
Can Never Let This Car Go
I bought this car new in college for $13k. It has about 90k miles on it, & doesn’t seem capable of dying, even after driving it for 14 years. I keep hoping something will happen to it, so I can get a car that looks a little cooler for life in California, but it just won’t quit. In addition to regular maintenance, I’ve probably only spent an additional $2k thru the years- on new tires and a couple small things here or there. No one will ever want to steal this car (especially since it’s manual), so I still couldn’t be happier with it all these years later.
