While the Vroom transaction started out great, after that it fell to pieces. No documents with the DMV were filed until after 6 weeks. Had to request an extension on the temporary tags. Still no title for this vehicle as it was paid in full. Customer service reps are nice, but have VERY limited capacity and only state they are "emailing supervisor" for "escalation". Have spent over 5 hours trying to get a concrete answer. In fact, Vroom lied about the vehicle paperwork stating it had been sent to DMV three weeks ago when this process was not even started AT ALL! While the concept is great, I would not recommend as you are truly at their mercy and no one seems to care.

I was hoping to leave a good review because we like the car and it arrived with only a few hiccups (requests for paperwork that were already provided). However, after having the 'check engine light' come on, we found out how useless the warranty is, as well as the towing service (they denied the claim for the repair, and we would have had to pay $44 to have our car towed to the nearest garage). When our title didn't arrive after 4 weeks (an email from Vroom shortly after purchase told us to be patient because it may take up to 4 weeks--if only!), I began calling to find out where our paperwork was. I have called over 12 times, during which time I have been needlessly put on hold, lied to, and told time and again the problem would be resolved in 24/48/72 hours. The temporary tags on the car ran out on 5/8/22 and we have no way of renewing them (Vroom claims that they can't provide temp tags because TX is suing them for their terrible sales practices). The customer has absolutely no recourse. The customer service people will not connect you with anyone higher up, or the person who is supposedly working on your case. My account/transaction history on their website was moved to 'Completed' even though I haven't received the title. I have brought this up with them several times, asking it to be moved back to 'Active Transactions', because: 1) that is where Vroom emails tell you to go to check the status of your paperwork arriving, and 2) I believe lazy or over-burdened case workers move customer accounts to 'Completed', so it looks like they are getting the job done. So now we have an over $13000 lawn ornament. Horrible, horrible company.

My car was promised to me in 12 days, with a maximum of 14 and didn't get to me until day 20 and I was charged $2999 for shipping. I did research and looked at quotes for my car to be shipped to me from where it was and would have cost $2400 it also would have been over nighted. I shipped a car to and from US <-> Germany for under $2000. I opened multiple ticket with customer support and not a single ticket has been closed or followed up. No email, no text and no call back. When I got the car is smelled like puke and was disgusting. There is still puke on parts of the car. I was told someone would be in contact with me to clean it and no one call, text or emailed... once again... This was the worst car buying experience I have ever been through.

Great customer service and simplified car buying without the hassle of a pressuring salesman and shady dealings.
Love the car I got, but that's about where it ends.
Love the car I got, but that's about where it ends. Titling and licensing is a nightmare. I have called 3 different times already to have a case opened - each time they open it and say it will be resolved in 48-72 hours and someone will call and explain. Only to find out that a week or so later, the case has been closed with no resolution and I have to start over. Currently on hold with them again doing the same song and dance. What a joke!!!

Three months - no title - no support staff - no one knows whats going on - no supervisors - generic responses - agents that hang up on you when they have no answer - fraudulent sales - selling cars with no titles - can't speak with anyone above a rep1 agent that has to escalate and then you never get a response - DO NOT BUY FROM VROOM - CHECK OUT THE VROOM HORROR STORIES ON FACEBOOK FIRST!!

Terrible experience, incredibly stressful, lots of headaches. DO NOT BUY THROUGH VROOM. I purchased a vehicle in February. It is currently May and I have had two temp extensions, with no clear indication on where my title and registration process is. Earlier this month my paperwork was sent to the CO DMV (which took WEEKS after we were notified by Vroom) and then the paperwork was rejected because VROOM sent incomplete paperwork. I am now told it will be 2-3wks before I can complete this process but I have very little trust in this company. I was offered a rental (before I found out I could get another extension through CO) and I don't have any faith Vroom could properly arrange and compensate a rental based on my current experience. My current temps have bought some time but it's very stressful waiting for Vroom to get things moving. I worry I will end up back at my local DMV begging for another extension while Vroom keeps telling us we might hear back in 24hrs with NO updates. I do not recommend going through Vroom.
Awful!
Awful! Avoid at all costs. I fully regret using this website. It took over a month before I finally got my car. It arrived with no temp tags, and now, over a month after delivery I have no temp tags, no registration, nothing. And customer service has not been helpful. What a nightmare. I’ll stick to buying my cars from a local physical dealer.
The entire process was very easy.
The entire process was very easy. I would recommend to a friend. Sure beats going to car lots with annoying sales people.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM VROOM.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM VROOM. They are kind up front but seriously drop the ball. It has been nothing but a nightmare. I have even had to fill out my contracts twice now because it took them so long to get it processed. They do not call to let you know what's going on, no email nothing, you have to chase them to get answers. The Texas DMV wont do out of state temporary tags anymore and no one told anyone, Ive been waiting over a month for my new temporary tag. I was told twice it was on the way. Then I receive an email that Texas is not issuing temp tags for other states anymore. They need to get this fixed quick. It is causing so so much more of a headache than its worth. I should have gone with another company. Please save yourself and use someone else.
