DO NOT PURCHASE FROM VROOM - terrible communication. I purchased my car and wired money to them. A delivery date was not provided until 10 days after I purchased, estimated to be delivered 14 days post-purchase. Then, the day before delivery I was told there was a delay and they had no estimated date of delivery. THEN, the car showed up 2 days after the original delivery date. I was not notified by Vroom, and their system apparently had no information. I'm still waiting for the title and was told it could be 8-12 WEEKS before I get it. Finally, their communication platforms need some work. The online chat does not work. I called today over lunch and their system was down, so they just told me to call back later. Very unprofessional and can't keep up with demand, apparently. I did get the car I was looking for, but I would not recommend this to anybody - I should have driven a couple hours and worked with a real dealer.

I bought a tesla Model 3 through them. Getting them to release the VIN was the lengthiest process. Their employees are nice and mean well but are given very little information and almost no power to move things along. The car arrived extremely dirty and the tires were so stripped I had to get them replaced the first week. I would stay away from Vroom.

The customer service I have experienced with Vroom is without a doubt in my list of worst. I purchased nine months ago and still to this day vroom has not completed the registration and title on my car. I was provided temporary tags for three months. Each time they provided my temp tags they would tell me there was paperwork they forgot to have me complete. It was 7 months after I purchased my car and they were still asking me to complete additional paperwork they had forgot to have me complete. I had to pay for and complete 3 emissions tests because the previous ones had expired before they completed my registration. None if which i was ever refunded for. I’ve talked to customer service at least monthly since purchasing my car and every time they tell me they will follow up in 2 days and not once did they actually follow up. I would typically give them a week to get back to me, but I had to call them every time to get an update and was given the run around every time. 9 months later, I still cannot legally drive my car that I have been paying almost $800 for each month. I was finally provided a rental car about a month and a half ago which was nice for them to finally provide me with a method of transportation, but even that did not proactively come. It required my continual requests for status updates. I recently reached out to the dmv and not only do they not have any record of an attempt to register the car, they also deactivated my personalized plate from my previous car which was supposed to be transferred to the new car. Which the rep said i will not be able to get back. I will never purchase another car from vroom.

My purcahse was GREAT! Amazing service! Staff was very knowledgeable and courteous, with quick responses. Vehicle and plates arrived as stated. The overall time was 3-weeks and I was kept up-to-date every step of the way! William was the best car salesman I have ever dealt with! I highly recommend Vroom!!

I purchased a vehicle from Vroom and received the vehicle on April 21st. On April 22nd I submitted the Smog online and sent the VIN Verification to Vroom the next day. On March 31st (over 30 days later) I received an email from their Title and Registration group telling me I needed to get the documents I had already submitted, to them. I emailed back and asked for verification that they had not received the documents....No email was returned. I have repeatedly called them and was told that the documents were in and the Title and Registration was being processed. Today (6/22) I called to check on the status and was told (by a not so nice associate) that I needed to send in another VIN Verification, that the first one expired. I just got off the phone with the CA DMV and was told that VIN verifications DO NOT EXPIRE. Not sure what's going on with this company, but I am VERY frustrated. In the interim, the temporary tag expired...to their credit, however, Vroom has rented a car for me, which i have been driving for a moth and a half. I'm wondering if i will get stuck with the bill. This is my second (and last?) vehicle with this company. The first one had Title and Registration difficulties also, but I received multiple temp tags and so could drive my vehicle during the process. It was during the pandemic and CA DMV was backlogged, so I felt it something of a fluke. Apparently I was incorrect! An additional part of the frustration is that there is no one to contact but their service associates....no email, no phone number other than the service associate number. ---- an update...I called again and talked to a very nice lady, Maria, who told me that my documents were fine and that the Title and Registration were in process. Also, on this review...I have no idea who Molly T is.

I contacted Vroom and purchased my vehicle online. My vehicle was delivered on 11/30/21 per agreement. My buying and Trade-in process was fairly simple although my vehicle did not arrive with any temp tags to drive. Notified Vroom and temp tags were received in 4 days. Contact was always initiated on my end to notify of tags of being near expiration which the temp tags would arrive by FedEx, email or sometimes both and would often arrive after previous temp tags had expired. My last temp tags expired on 4/28/22. I was informed during the call that I had exhausted the number of temp tags that could be sent and Vroom rep had no further information regarding plates and registration. Vroom has provided me with a rental with limited mileage allowed however the car that I purchased and continue to make monthly payments on has been sitting in my driveway now for 2 months with expired temp tag. After numerous calls and emails to Vroom I was often left on hold for lengthy times and informed issue would be sent to escalation and a “case” would be opened. I was always misinformed about the status of plates and registration. My concerns about plates and registration were always initiated by myself with no resolution or any calls or emails being returned from Vroom. I purchased my vehicle 7 months ago, after all this time there is no indication or resolution when or IF my plates and registration will ever arrive. This ongoing issue has resulted in tremendous frustration and inconvenience and has turned into a horrible transaction process with Vroom. I'm a very annoyed and dissatisfied customer and am requesting your assistance with resolving this matter.

DO NOT BUY FOM VROOM!!!!!!!! I submitted my down-payments and signed contract at end of February 2022, took possession of vehicle March 16 2022, completed funding call, received a call requesting additional documents, sent documents, received tags and registration at end of March. Made thousands of dollars in repairs to vehicle. Received a call from Vroom telling us we have to redo the credit application due to previous app being expired. The necessary paperwork was not submitted by Vroom. Another credit pull, resent all requested documents, made multiple calls to get incorrect information, somehow somebody else's name got on my application, made complaint with BBB, received email from. Admin exec for complaints, she was able fix name issue, resubmitted paperwork again, put me in contact with funding person. Same person who hasn't been able to get this fixed. Multiple times requesting supervisor or a number to reach someone to get this fixed. Received emails telling me due to age the finance company is having difficulty funding. It's now mid June and I still don't have this resolved. Now received an email telling me they are still having problems. I NEED THIS FIXED ASAP. I'm tired. Looking for good attorney to handle. I will be filing additional complaints and will review for additional violations.
