Buy The car
I bought the exact BMW 3 series I had been looking for. They shipped it from Beverly Hills, Ca - was it show room ready? No. I had it detailed once it was delivered. Was delivery seamless? No. But what do you expect from a vehicle being shipped across the country? They accommodated a city and time change less than 24 hours before planned delivery. Also I only paid a fraction of normal shipping costs. I literally bought the car on my lunch break at work. Tags - not an issue. I reached out to the rep for a second temp - my real tags and registration arrived the day before my 2nd set of temp tags. Seamless for the most part. Pricing was more than fair. I will never buy another car at a dealer again. Thanks Vroom! I can’t speak for other states, but Florida buyers - don’t even think twice. Buy the car.
Buyer Beware
I went with vroom because I was told I would save time, money, and not have a headache from being and negotiating at a dealer all day... boy was I wrong. The overall process took close to a month, I dealt with every issue you could imagine to unresponsiveness, to contract errors, tag/title issues, and delivery delays. Setting everything up through the site was easy and vroom constantly thanked me for being quick and responsive, but they did not reciprocate. The contract arrived with a name spelling issue, which they tried to tell me was my fault saying my Drivers License had incorrect name spelling (it does not) this was confirmed and they reissueed a new contract (almost a week later) , my delivery was delayed 4 times and upon delivery I noticed chips, dents and scratches that weren't advertised. I have been trying to get with vroom about delivery and damage refunds and they are now unresponsive again, when I reach someone I need to be passed to a different dept, or am told 24-48 hours for follow-up and then never receive the follow-up. Not to mention, after receiving my vehicle, I found out there was an open recall (its illegal to sell a vehicle with an open recall in Fl and they did) Basically, 10/10 do not recommend vroom.
A far cry from Carvana
No follow-ups after paid 500 down payment. Deal hung in limbo without communicating. Payment issues from third party lender. Ultimately canceled car out of frustrations.
Come here for terrible customer service!
They demand payment and signed contracts immediately. Then your deal falls into a blackhole and never hear from them again. Called several times and put on hold for 45 mins to speak with a disinterested customer service rep. Truck just showed up randomly one day with no correspondence. The tires were destroyed and Vroom will not fix. I would call, but why bother. Terrible customer experience! #nvragain
Convoluted Delivery.
The buying process is convoluted and the delivery is atrocious I was due to have my vehicle delivered on Wednesday, my day off, but was never contacted. I was then notified that night that it would not be delivered until the following day. I had to work this day, so I had to reschedule the entire thing. Keep in mind that I was never called and given a day to have the vehicle delivered. It was just, oh your car will be here this day, and then it wasn't... Skip this nonsense, and buy local.
Deceitful and dishonest - Damaged Vehicle
Vehicle was delivered on 12/22/19 filthy and with mechanical issues. They offer a 7 day guarantee from the time the vehicle is delivered. I called and spoke with a supervisor - Zaidmy Mesa - immediately to advise them of the damage when the vehicle was delivered. The mechanic shop was unable to look at the vehicle within that 7 day window due to the holidays. They were able to look at it on 1/2/20 - first available appointment. I advised Zaidmy that if they were unable to extend that period we wanted to cancel the transaction and get the vehicle we traded back. She advised me by phone that they would allow an extended period to have the vehicle inspected. We agreed that I would not have the vehicle detailed until after it was inspected by a mechanic. She sent me email confirmation of this as well. The vehicle was inspected on 1/2/20 and Kia found that the rotors were warped. The problem was resolved and I paid for it. I then had the vehicle detailed on 1/4/20. Once the vehicle was detailed we discovered that one of the wheels had severe curb damage, the driver's door had a large yellow spot on it, and the passenger seat bolster had a large yellow spot on it. I immediately emailed Zaidmy to advise her of this so we could find a resolution. She contacted me on 1/6 and advised me that they would not do anything because it was out of the 7 day window even though she agreed to extend that window via phone and email. I specifically asked if there was any damage when I spoke with my sales person - Lavontell Morgan. He advised me that there was no damage, and that the vehicle was in excellent condition. I now have a vehicle with damage that was not disclosed, and they have our trade in which was in excellent condition. They are dishonest. Quick to make a sale, but then they are done with you. I strongly recommend you do not use them to purchase a vehicle.
The way car buying should be....
Gary was absolutely tremendous in processing my application and the sale of the car. The whole process took 58 minutes. His follow up was fantastic and even re-routed the contracts to a hotel as I was traveling for business. The initial close process was seamless and I couldn't be happier.
Overpriced!!!
Overpriced cars. Not willing to negotiate price. They claim a no haggle experience. That only benifits them. I was interested in a Nissan pro4x frontier. Their asking price was almost the same as a new one. Only $1000 difference. I think they want $ 27,500 for a year old truck with 10k+ miles. I ultimately bought the same truck elsewhere for $24,000 and it was a used 2018. I have a problem with the no haggle dealerships. Isn't buying a used car about haggling and getting a deal? Don't deal with these people!!!! You can't even see the car before purchasing!!!! What a crock
Low ballers
Tried to trade in my older Jeep (2012) for a newer Jeep (2016) and they made an insulting low ball offer on trade. Trade was worth $20,000 I would have accepted $17,500 (what was owed on the loan) but they offered $16,000. Luckly I had another Jeep lined up and was able to get $18,500 trade and a better 2016 Jeep. I dont recommend doing business with this "dealership."
