Gap insurance scam

I bought a car three years ago. Low miles ,drove for 22, 000.. had 44,000... They told me it was a boxcar and it wasn't worth what I owed on it.. so I went to Nissan's used car lot and they gave me $3,500 over what I owed on it.. turned in gap insurance for a partial refund with these guys.. took a month and a half only to be told that the check has been cashed already.. wanted proof so I walked into their place of business and I get two pieces of paper one showing a mailing address on a envelope and one showing the front of the check but no signatures or the back of the check.. asked where the cancelled check was .. I told them that they were scamming me.. and called them thieves and was told to leave as they were going to call the cops.... They got caught trying to rip me off ... So they called later and said they had a check ready and that the check had not actually been cashed .. funny how the story changed.. they have lost my business ,I will never go back.. I hate liars and thieves.. I wonder how many other people have fallen into this gap trap..

I worked with Joe and Matt, buying a car with a limited income in a hurry due to my old one being destroyed when someone ran a stoplight. They couldnt have been more helpful and friendly, made me comfortable and I got a great deal, they handled the necessary repairs and services and almost two years later she still runs like a dream. I will definitely be making them my first stop for any other vehicle purchases. The atmosphere here is great.

Over the weekend I went to purchase a vehicle from Tom's, this was a first time for me going there. I'm usually pretty anxious before going to look at cars with that feeling like the sales people are on you and pressuring you but it was not like that here at all. I felt very comfortable as soon as we got there. There were a few people working and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do. It was a friendly, easy going environment yet professional. From the test drive to signing the paperwork the entire process was super easy and fun. We worked with Joe B, he was awesome! The air conditioning wasn't as cold as it normally would be and even though we purchased the vehicle he made sure that we were able to get that taken care of under their expense. I love my car and I will definitely be back for future purchases.

I can not begin to describe how disappointed I am in Tom's Auto. They said they would fix what ever was causing the check engine light. A week later I get my Buick back with no explanation. Then within 2 weeks the check engine light is back on. Tom's then had my vehicle for 10 days this time, returned it to me again with no explanation of what was fixed (even after asking) or any sort of paperwork for either time. Now the first time I go to drive my Buick I realize that my unopened 130 piece tool kit that I had in the vehicle for emergencies has been stolen. This has been the worst experience that I have ever had in buying a vehicle. I would not recommend this place to anyone after all the trouble I have gone through. In the first 30 days of owning my vehicle Tom's had it more in the shop(supposedly) than I had it to drive.

Waited for months for my plates. Talked to my salesmen and ask where they were. He said they were way behind because of COVID. I call the Polk county registration office and they told me they sent the plates to them months ago. So they try to turn it on me that I must have missed the postcard. No phone call. I did all the leg work. The sales experience was nothing spectacular. I was as easy sale as you get ever get. I did all the research. I bought the extended warranty. Thank god. Had the vehicle checked out the first week I had it by A certified Jeep dealer and they told me the rear end was shot. I called the dealer to inquire about the warranty process. They could have cared less. xxxxtards

Joe bisignano is a good salesman. He took care of the repairs that needed done after my purchase. Credit application was easy and expedient. Facility was clean and organized.
