Such a ripoff/scam, I got a jeep in September 2021. First week having it had to fix 700$ worth of things wrong with it because the "warranty" is very vague so chances are if they offered if to you it won't cover anything under the warranty policy. Only have driven this jeep maybe 2000 miles since fixing it the last time, boooom breaks go out and booooom a $2100 bill from a jeep dealership. When asked about warranty they say its from wear and tear I laughed so hard because I had only driven it 2000 miles in 7 months and they say I was the one that did the wear and tear. Its been inside a garage and only driven a few times a week. There's a leak from the sunroof runoff tube that even when I drive in a sprinkling rain my passenger seat is soaked and constant run of water coming from my roof. They continued to say I had gotten a "great" deal but my these bills have begged to differ.

Would Never recommend anyone or a dog to shop at the car exchange on S. Military Hwy... NEVER. They didn't try hard enough to satisfy me. After having my SUV for about 24 hours. I had to have it towed back to dealership
This is not a real review. This is an ex employee trying to cause harm. She was employed briefly at our Military Highway location. This is a malicious review and should not be considered when making your car purchase.

Had a Great Experience at the Lynnhaven Location
I bought a work truck from this location and it was in great shape. The process was easy and smooth and all the crew at the Lynnhaven Location were friendly and helpful. Luis greeted me showed me the car and took me on a long test drive. Dave was easy and straightforward to work with getting my financing done while I was there. We made a quick call to my insurance company and I was on my way. The price was right, the process was quick, and everyone was friendly. I would send my grandmother here to buy a car. Highly recommend. I will be back. Thanks guys.
Horrible experience with the Car Exchange, VA
WARNING TO USED CAR BUYERS: The Car Exchange in Virginia Beach VA, specifically Adam Cheek (general manager) and Zackary Kyler (owner) were dishonest, non-responsive and unethical in their sales tactics and lack of accountability with me as a customer. They sold me a 2006 Honda CR-V that needed almost $3000 in undisclosed repairs just to be roadworthy and that doesn’t include damages caused by (according to Adam) the transportation company that the Car Exchange hired to deliver the car to me in NC. I purchased the car based on the photos advertised online (which turned out to be deceiving ) and assuming that The Car Exchange was trustworthy, professional and honest. That was my big mistake. This was supposed to be a special surprise as my daughter’s first car and it turned out to be a used car nightmare. I can’t stress enough to stay away from these dishonest cowards. Here are the details if you’re interested: Sept 13th, 2019 - I purchased a 2006 Honda CRV with 106k miles on it for a total of $6982.00. This included a $300 shipping cost and $399 processing fee (which was supposed to include detailing the car). The CARFAX report looked clean. Sept 27th - The car was delivered late, 14 days after I paid. This was long after my credit card transaction cleared. The delivery driver was supposed to call me ahead of time and meet me so I could inspect the car before accepting it. They never called me. It was left in my driveway unlocked with the key inside when I wasn’t home. I would not have accepted the car had they called me as promised. The car was filthy and damaged, with undisclosed repairs needed (see photos): - 24 inch scratch across the passenger side door - Front drivers-side bumper damage - Interior stained with grease on drivers seat, drivers door, and steering wheel - car smelled terrible and was not detailed at all - missing tire jack - Flat front tire - wiper fluid nozzles not working - title missing (was supposed to arrive before the car, then told it would be in the car) - Key fob broken, taped together and missing backplate Jessica at the Car Exchange was very friendly and responsive at first, but then ghosted me after the car arrived and I notified her of all the damages via text and email. Repeatedly emailed and texted Jessica, never got a response. Sept 28th - Had a certified Honda mechanic inspect the car. Found out it needed almost $3000 in repairs just to be safe to drive. These critical repairs (some of which were just common sense basic maintenance) were not addressed nor disclosed by The Car Exchange and completely overlooked by John Clifton at Barber's Tire and Auto in VA, the inspector who passed the car: - Rotor resurfacing - Lower ball joint boots - Differential Axle seal - 4 Wheel alignment - 4 tires replaced - Spark plug replacement - Oil change - Transmission fluid (leaking) - Outer tie rod end boots - CV Axle - Replace brake pads - Cabin air filter - Power steering fluid Faced with the unexpected expense of addressing these repairs I reached out to the Car Exchange for help. I emailed, called and texted Zack and Adam several times. Andy was very friendly via phone, but obviously powerless to help me and at the mercy of his boss who avoided me and never returned my calls. I finally got through to Adam once via phone. In summary, he placed all the blame on the transportation company, was extremely defensive and said my mechanic was “blowing smoke up your xxx”. He offered no details on what he was doing or going to do to help me. That was the only time we talked via phone. After several more emails, texts and calls from me - on Oct 15th I got one defensive email reply from Adam accusing me of “slander and degradation” after I told him the Car Exchange was ripping me off. He also said he was “doing everything” he could to resolve the matter. As of December 18th, 2019 no one at the Car Exchange has done anything. Since my last email exchange with Adam no one from The Car Exchange helped me
The dealer was very helpful and kind, nice selection of cars that are affordable. I would definitely recommend this dealership to other people in the area.
