Cars on the lot
Great cars, great team A+
My son and I had a very positive experience at AE. We took a chance that a car was available at the lot and when we arrived we were pleased to find it was there. Unfortunately, a part needed to be replaced and we could not test drive it. Patrick worked with the team to bring in a mechanic who specialized in this particular fix and got the part replaced two hours before they promised. Patrick answered all our questions and Dan in Finance made the buying process a breeze. Thanks, guys!
I inquired on a vehicle and received a call within 5 minutes. I told them I wanted to test drive the car and I was on the way. I was helped right away and loved the car. Johnny was very informative and knowledgeable. There was a couple of things the used car needed fixed and they were able to get those things done for me before purchasing the vehicle. The car buying process was very smooth. I did not feel pressured at any moment. All the staff I worked with was great. I would definitely go back.
Super organized staff and sells person Manos
Best dealership in whole Chicago land area. Sales man Manos and staff where amazing. Process of finding a car was very helpful and smooth. Will highly recommend audi exchange to all Audi lovers.
Just leased my 5th A6 from AE!
I just leased my 5th A6 from The Audi Exchange. It was a pleasure AGAIN. Brian was great from start to finish. He kept me informed on my car’s arrival date and made himself fully available based on my schedule. He went through the car’s features and answered my many questions. He gave me his cell number in case I have questions in the future. The financing manager was thorough and personable. I don’t live that close to Audi Exchange but I will continue to drive the distance for maintenance and service.
This negative, but proper review, could have been
This negative, but proper review, could have been completely avoided, if not the fact that I was illegally taken advantage of and basically thrown out! Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Be warned! Never again! Tactics you’d expect from your typical schlocky sleazy car dealership, not one of Chicagoland’s “Premier” luxury dealers. I will be handing all my information and copies of my paperwork over to the proper authorities.
Best experience ever
I purchased a Audi S5 last week from Audi exchange. The process started out via internet which led to the most awesome salesman, Manos, reaching out to me. He was truly the most sincere and honest person. He displayed so much care and professionalism that I was drawn to him as if I had known him forever! His knowledge and expertise is exceptional. He made the purchase of my almost new vehicle easy, hassle free, and fast! If anyone goes to Audi exchange in highland park, Il please seek Manos….You can thank me later!😊
We had a great salesman, easy and painless experience. Dealership was very nice as well. Wait time was not bad either when finalizing purchase process.
I had the worst experience yesterday at Audi Exchange I...
I had the worst experience yesterday at Audi Exchange I have ever had at a car dealership. I am not a complainer, but this was beyond the pale. I reached out to AE Saturday on-line in response to a listing for an Audi etron sportback. On Monday morning, I had contact with Milan and Maria about the car, which had not arrived yet. On Tuesday morning, I had not heard back from Milan, so reached out to Maria again. She indicated Milan was off for the day but that she would have another sales rep contact me. She told me the car had come in and she provided me a contact to call for a quote on shipping the car to TN. After 30 to 45 minutes, a rep had still not contacted me so I called the dealership and was connected to Maria. I knew I needed to move quickly on the car because not many are available. I asked to talk with a sales rep and Maria put me in touch with Scott. Scott sent me pictures of the car and I immediately viewed the pictures and asked if AE could come $500 off the MSRP and ship to me - this was offered to me on another Audi Sportback in MO. Shawn indicated he would check and awhile later responded that he could not offer shipping and that actually AE was asking for $5000 over the MSRP. I indicated to Scott that the car was advertised on AE's website for a "price" of $83,245 (the MSRP) and on Edmunds and other sites as well for that price and that neither he nor Milan and Maria had ever indicated the price was anything other than as advertised. I indicated that a last minute increase of the price was not only unfair dealing, but was likely illegal. Scott indicated that this was not his decision and that it put him in a difficult position as a salesperson. He asked if I was still interested in the car and I said "yes, at the advertised price." He said he would talk with his manager and call me back in 5 minutes. Twenty minutes later, I texted Scott for an update and he texted me back that the car had been sold! I immediately called him and he had no response other than that the car was sold to someone else. I then called his manager, Vic Javalili, and spoke with him for 10 minutes. Vic listened and gave me a sob story about low inventory and having to lay off workers. He was non-apologetic for the extremely poor service I had experienced, the last-minute increase in price of $5000, and the fact that AE sold the vehicle out from under me WHILE I was trying to negotiate a price. Throughout my two days of contact with the dealership, during which I aggressively pursued this car, not once was I told that the "advertised price" was not really the price or that the dealership would not negotiate (as Vic belated told me twice). Additionally, it was never suggested to me that I put a deposit down to hold it or that I was in anyway at risk of not completing the transaction. Rather, despite my urgency, the people I dealt with were not moving or talking with any sense of urgency. It was, by far, the worst, underhanded, experience I have had with a business.
I apologize for the miscommunication that occurred during your experience Kelly. We had over seventy inquiries on this vehicle in the two days that it was online and before you were able to commit to the vehicle, one of our existing local customers came in and purchased it. During this time of severe inventory shortages, we aren't able to hold vehicles with no deposit from out-of-state customers. We hope you understand the predicament our industry is currently in and we are very much looking forward to when our world returns to normal.
There was no miscommunication, but rather a lack of communication and underhanded communication. Additionally, you took advantage of me and whoever bought the vehicle by inflating the price in a low inventory market - despite the fact your dealership had the car advertised for $5000 less.
This is simply the laws of supply and demand at the moment. If you had a trade-in we would have offered you $5,000 more for it because of current used car values, so the pricing would have been a wash. This was exactly what happened with the local client that bought the car and they were very happy with the entire transaction. I’m sure you’ve heard of the housing market right now with houses receiving multiple overs over asking price, the automotive market is similar at the moment and you will find that this is the case everywhere, not just at our dealership.
Enough with your excuses for horrible customer service and unethical behavior!
Fastest, least amount of wasted time ever!
Located car I wanted. Test drove the next day and put down a deposit - then picked up the next day. Less than an hour on the pickup day, from arrival to driving away. I highly recommend Johnny for a no pressure knowledgeable experience.
Great service. Very efficient process. Was in and out for new car purchase in less that 1.5 hours. Even though it’s a seller’s market, AE team made me feel that they wanted my business.
