Stay far away from Terryville Chevrolet

I was very disappointed in what could have been a great experience. My salesman Harry was amazing. Went above and beyond to help me. The manager, Dan Perlini on the other hand was very rude and unprofessional. I asked a question regarding CT warranty rules and showed DMV site examples, Dan got very loud and yelled at the salesman for asking. I mean it is an open floor. The manager apparently thought he was above God and couldn’t be bothered to come over to us customers and say what he needed to say. I will never step foot in this place again. I will definitely make sure I let everyone know how rude and unprofessional, not to mention disrespectful DanPerlini is of Terryville Chevrolet in Terryville,CT.

Purchased 2022 Chevy Trax - charged $1,700.00 over MSRP and General Managers attitude was ?Take it or Leave and get out? of my dealership. If my daughter wasn?t in need of a car (she loves it) I would have walked out. Gave us next to nothing for trade in too.

Originally I stopped in to have my truck repaired. When I realized that wasn?t an option, I ended up buying a used car. Terryville Chevrolet gave me a loaner overnight so I wasn?t stranded. The buying process was simple.

Today I received a call from Terryville Chevrolet owner Ty Dimeo who profusely apologized for what happened on behalf of himself and his managers. Dimeo made sure everything was immediately straightened out to my satisfaction. Happy to say Terryville Chevrolet is still a dealership that will treat you right!

Shady people dont believe a word they say. They will tell you anything then ,when you catch them in lies and confront the lue they act like they dont hear you

No masks on!!

This morning while waiting in the waiting room, there is a sign that says NOTICE face mask required. Almost every employee who walked by the waiting room did not have a mask on. It made me feel very uncomfortable! Employees were coughing and not 6 feet away. I was not happy!

False Hope

They advertise cars that are not really for sale and give no reason why they can't/won't sell the car. Salesman hung up on me when I politely asked for an explanation. Email enquiries are met with an automated response and no follow up.

From MESS to the BEST!!! A Tale of Two Dealerships

If you saw my review two days ago, of the Gengras Chevrolet Dealership in E. Hartford, titled, "Classic Bait and Switch of Sparks and Tylers", you read about the miserable time I had there. I suggested you find a dealership that will treat you right. AND I DID!! Terryville Chevrolet and in particular, BOB DIMEO, provided the most relaxing, respectful, informative, new car shopping experience I have had in many years. I got that NEW SPARK afterall! And at a great price point. They even came down a bit more money too! The dealership had many people looking and buying cars. It had a very homey feel, like everyone was family. You could tell that the dealership is well liked in the area. There was absolutely NO pressure or harassment. I was left to look at all their offerings with ease. I located BOB and he was amazing! I could tell he loves his work and it shows. They honored the internet price right away, no hassles. Bob took care of all the paperwork and Title and Reg. right there. No hidden fees and no high pressure Extended Warranty Pitches. Just great info, and options given by John, for us to decide. Perfect! They put the car through a thorough inspection and detail even though the car was spotless already. I chose the Spark for my 80 year old Mom (ooooo…. she's not going to like seeing that lol), who is a spit fire. Bob spent extra time going over all the "new fangled" technology to make sure she was ready to set off safely. I really appreciated that and so did she! I would send anyone looking for QUALITY of product and service and staff, to Terryville Chevrolet. They PROVE that just because you have a rotten experiences elsewhere, it doesn't mean you can't find exceptional treatment there! One other note... they have some INCREDIBLE Corvettes and Camaros there and NOT ONCE, did they treat me less of a customer because I was spending much, much less on a Spark! That's what I'm talking about! Thanks Bob and T.Chevy
