Sold a used truck to us

We brought a truck from there three months ago transmission was bad they told us they replaced the transmission come to find out they did not they rigged up so many parts so we had to take it to a dealership to get it fixed still having problems I will not recommend anybody to buy anything from this place

I was told I was qualified for the loan to get insurance on the vehicle and pay down payment. I added car to my insurance sent 2000 to them. The car was to be delivered on Tuesday. When I called on Monday I was told I was unable to get the vehicle. After being told everything was ok for 2 weeks I was disappointed by the outcome. I had sold my car and was left without a vehicle

Thank to all that posted reviews and for their honest opinion of this company. I was online searching for a Volkswagen van and found this one posted. After reading the reviews, I will not even consider buying from this distributor because of all the unsatisfied ratings, customers they have accumulated.

Horrible prices and not true to customers

This was my first time buying a car and the truthfulness of this place needs work. I called about a car and they raised the price of it and claimed they bought it at a higher price than what the retail is for on them. Reading other reviews really shows what type of place this is

Buyer Beware

am a person that never writes reviews but in this case, if I can help just one person save thousands of dollars, I will. I recently purchased a vehicle from Stafford Motors in November 2020. The vehicle looked good on the outside and underneath the hood. I took it for a test drive and it ran great. I proceeded with the purchase and completed all the paperwork. I live in MD, so I needed to have the vehicle inspected in MD. When I took my vehicle to the MD inspection it was raining so the were not able to inspect my truck. After 3 days and the weekend, I was finally able to have the vehicle inspected. To my surprise, the inspection station called me within 30 mins and said, hey we can't inspect this vehicle, underneath is all rusted out and the vehicle should have never been sold. They also questioned how it passed a VA inspection because they frame was broke and the exhaust had a hole in it. I believe the dealer and VA inspection station are in it together to inspect unsafe vehicles. When the inspector in D allowed me to review underneath the vehicle, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Everything was completely rusted. I called Kenny, the manager, and informed him I needed return the vehicle as it is a complete lemon. Kenny stated they wont accept the return because it was past the "3 day" return policy. This policy was never mentioned to me during the sale. Bottom line here, they sale junk vehicles and I would definitely request in writing that you would like to have the vehicle inspected before you purchase it. It cost me $6800.00 dollars and if I can help save your money, please take this review serious. Also, the titles cost an additional $175 dollars because they do not put the title in your name. So I am not sure what the $399 fee is for. Stay clear and due your due diligence.

Kenny is THE BEST! I live in KY and bought my car online,. Everything was so easy and Kenny was ALWAYS there to answer any questions or concerns- he was VERY helpful every step of the way and even afterwards when I called to ask MORE questions!😁 I love my car - THANK you so much, Kenny! You ROCK!!!!

Customer service "The worste"

I called this dealership to get basic information regarding conditions of their cars, warranties and if they still had a particular that was online. The person I spoke to (his name started with a "K" sound like Keith or Kenneth) was very impolite and did not appear to want to assist. I asked if any multi point inspections were performed and/or if any major parts had been repaired since they had it. His answers were I dont know, I can check the paperwork. I dont know i can check what we have, it would be in the filling cabinet. I asked if there was anyone there more familiar with the car, he then proceeds and says "I'm sure we repaired something to get it to pass inspection. We only do repairs to get it through inspection." We spoke maybe 5mins total and when I asked if he checked the paper work yet, he says No. Horrible customer service. Shopped online... Called with questions.. I did not visit location.. I did not purchase...

Worst car buying experience of my life

On December 31st my son and I went to Stafford Motors to look at a car we had seen online. We looked at the car and in speaking to Rebecca I made an offer of 7500.00 for the car. I told her I did not care how she broke it down. Inclusive of price,processing fee, title, taxes, it needed to total 7500.00. She agreed. I am 65 years old and have bought probably a dozen cars like this from multiple dealers, have never had a problem. In processing the paperwork there was a question of temporary versus permanent tags. It was 4:00 pm on New Years Eve and I made a concession. I agreed that when she sent me the title I would locally go to DMV and purchase the tags, commenting this would be 40-50.00. Rebecca said about 2 weeks for me to receive the completed title. I paid her and we took the car. After 2 1/2 weeks I called looking for the title and was told it was being mailed that day. One week later I received a hand full of paperwork including the original out of state title from 2002 and 2 different dealer assignments. The title had never been processed or transferred. Also taxes were never paid. We were very close to expiration of the temporary tags so I had no choice. I had to take my wad of paperwork and wade through it at DMV. I also had to pay 308.49 in tax and transfer fee to get permanent tags. I contacted Rebecca in writing requesting 308.49 reimbursement. She responded that she would rather "address my concerns" over the phone rather than in writing. I don't blame her. If I were a scammer I would not want a written trail either. I have bought many cars in my life and this was the worst I have ever experienced. Realize that I was paying cash, I cannot imagine what creativity they could come up with in financing.
