This is the worst place to ever take your car, went in for service and they messed my car up.

My Subaru used to be in South Carolina, and was meticulously maintained and gently driven, with no incidents. The car never had any major issues. Upon moving to South Dakota, I maintained the regular recommended service at Schulte Subaru, including oil changes. At Schulte's second oil change, the 48 point inspection revealed a need to reseal the right cam carrier, which was covered under the warranty. On the positive side, the warranty process was seamless, and Schulte did readily provide a loaner car. During the repair, the loaner car's oil pressure light came on, so I checked the oil, and it was much too high. Likewise, when I picked up our car from the dealership, the oil was much too high. When pointing this out, the customer service gave a feeble explanation that did not line up with the basic principles of proper oil level, per the car's manual. Apparently the oil is done with a machine, so I wonder if an improper machine setting is causing people to have seal issues and subsequent costly repairs - convenient for a dealership's profit margin. The whole process has been consistently defined by unreturned calls and rude/condescending customer service. It was implied that this seal issue would not have been pointed out had they know about our warranty. I also never received paperwork for the 48 point inspection associated with this repair. I am extremely disappointed, and expect much more quality and conscientious service from Subaru, and I hope this dealership will improve. If it weren't for the warranty, I would have traded in my Subaru for a Ford or similar. I will probably do this anyway when the warranty expires. I recognize that Schulte Subaru has a monopoly on a vast geographic area, so they can seemingly get away with shoddy service. In sum, this car has never had any issues until coming to Schulte Subaru, and the issues I have consistently had with this dealership are likely going to compel me to trade in my Subaru when the warranty expires.

She was very efficient and friendly, answered all my questions, and sent me a few photos she went and shot of the car for me. I felt I was in very good hands with her and enjoyed the experience of working with her. We have not yet come to an agreement about price, but no matter how this goes, I have a very good impression of Schulte Subaru based on my interactions with Amber.

Went in for an oil change. They called an said my brake pads were in need of replacement in the next 6 months. Since this was the car our daughter used to travel to and from college 300 miles away, we opted to do so sooner. On her way to school, the brakes gave out completely. On the highway. We entrusted the safety of this vehicle to what we thought was a reputable vehicle, serviced by what we thought were honest and knowledgeable mechanics/ technicians. We were wrong. We will never trust our loved ones lives to such a poor and incompetent place ever again.
Very displeased with the faulty brake job you performed on our Subaru Outback. Went in for a brake job, only to have you call back and persuade us to have additional work performed, including a brake job. One week later, our daughter’s brakes completely gave out on the interstate as she was driving back to college. How can you call yourselves a competent outfit when we entrusted our loved ones life in what we thought was a “safe” vehicle, being serviced and inspected by “knowledgeable” technicians?? We demand a resolution if not a simple apology to this horrific and what could have been fatal issue.
Good luck setting up an appointment for an oil change unless you’re a VIP you won’t ever get an appointment. Two weeks in a row they told me I could come in and sit there they’ll try to fit me in yeah I’ve got all day to waste
Everyone we dealt with was very professional and friendly!! They couldn't have done any more to make our experience more perfect!! And this was on a Holiday Weekend !!

All previous dealership experiences have had the warmth of a dock strike. Schulte Subaru impresses as a genuine and authentic organization whom I can recommend without reservation. They are the worst dealership we have dealt with. They were nothing but liars. They lied about the damage disclosure on the title and tried to say it was our fault when it fact it was theirs because they were the one that sold us the hailed on Forester. We will never buy another vehicle from Sioux Falls Subaru even though we love the Subaru product.
