Misleading Prices - AVOID

Very bizarre experience. I called on 7/22 with cash in hand to purchase a 2020 wrangler. I stated my range, and found a car that seemed a good bit. since the dealership is a few hours away and I had planned to drive over the same day, I asked them to confirm an OTD price before I made my way all the way over there so I would not be blindsided by last second fees. The woman on the phone absolutely refused to give me any price or fees numbers on the phone and said she would only tell me in person. When I asked to speak to a manager she also said she would not transfer me. This also sounded very suspicious and was a very uncomfortable buying (attempted) process. I would avoid at all costs!

I had an appointment but when I arrived the car I chose was sold. They did not tell me before I arrived while I took a long trip. The remaining option was a car with poor conditions. Although having clean car fax, I can tell that the car had been into some accidents. The sales did not tell me anything about it but ask me to look at the car fax. It might be my bad luck but my experience was not good. But the overall environment and other cars seems fine although I was so disappointed by my experience.

The only positive that I would say was for the salesman that spent time with us showing the car. When sitting down to talk about a purchase, they show you all the additional items "available" to you. Then you get Mario with a sheet showing the car jumping up from $24k to $33k! 9k later... Low Jack, digital license plate, paint and interior package, window repair package. The price of the car was now out of our budget. They do advertise the car as having dealer installed options that "may be purchased for additional costs". They key word is "MAY". WRONG! They mean MUST! After 30 minutes of going back and forth with Mario, the other manager came out and refused to take off the additional items. Their cars are nice but their business practices SUCK! We will be making our purchase elsewhere.

They tried to con us into spending way more money and did not honor their listed price. Apparently they showed the picture of the correct vehicle but tried the” this car has a upgraded package and will cost $15k more” scam. Stay away or you will pay

Buyers Beware of Additional Fees to Purchase Price

Before I start, I would like to say thank you to the salespersons, Ruby and Bryan for being professional and courteous during my time at the dealership. However, buyers just beware of added fees added to the cash price of your potential vehicle. For example, a used vehicle, Jeep/Wrangler/Sport/Unlimited, that I wanted to purchase showed an advertised price of $33,000. I drove to the dealership to view and test drive the car; it was beautiful! The vehicle was awesome because the dealer installed aftermarket items such as rims and aggressive tires, light bar, lift kit, car alarm, etc. Nevertheless, what is not immediately known is that the aftermarket accessories are not included in the advertised cash price. When asked, I was told that an additional $16,000 -$20,000 would be added to the advertised price to cover the accessories. Also, keep in mind, additional fees were added such as Document Preparation, Smog, License, Sales Tax, Smog Certificate, and Registration Transfer which was an additional cost of approx. $5100. This is a grand total of $58,100 for a used 2017 Jeep with approx. 33K miles. WHAT THE HECK!!! Note: I later discovered, after reading the FULL Ad, that dealer installed accessories are not included in the advertised price but can be purchased at an additional cost! Why is this always added at the end? In closing, I suggest doing your homework and possibly purchasing a new vehicle instead of a buying a used one. Dealerships tend to charge the consumer approx. 3-4X the price for added accessories. Always know that dealerships are in the business to make MONEY and not lose money. Their earned money comes from YOU, the consumer!

Bait and switch.

Bait and switch. They advertise a $32,000 Wrangler, then after you test drive and sit down to go over paperwork, fill out application, and they run a "soft pull" of your credit, they say the Wrangler is actually $60,000. They were adding $12,000 for the lift kit and light bar alone! The finance manager was rude and a con artist. The salesman (Sean) was polite and hard working but the company is horrible...

Terrible dealership with very dishonest practices. I called to confirm the availability of a vehicle as this dealership is pretty far from where I live. The lady on the phone ensured me that the car was still on the lot and available, so I agreed to schedule an appointment to view it 45mins after my call. Upon arrival, I immediately realized there wasn't a single car of the make I inquired about on the lot. I go in anyway, assuming they moved it somewhere else for my viewing. I get matched with a salesman, tell him the car I'm interested in. He acts like he's looking for it, then goes, "oh, we sold that car some weeks ago, but don't worry, we have many similar cars." I left. I wanted to view a specific car. The funny thing is, as I was leaving, I overheard two other people saying to each other, "why would they advertise it as available if they knew they sold it?" They lie about a car on listings with very competitive pricing to show you "similar cars" once you arrive. Avoid this place like the plague. I suggest checking out one of the many lots on the same street as them.

Guy who is the head of marketing and/or works for social media of this dealership started sending me spam emails and wouldn't address the situation when I very simply stated that I didn't authorize it. Kept repeating themselves over and over and actually had the audacity to say I made a physical threat. If someone displays that type if behavior, and just repeats themselves without giving any interest to a customer, then they obviously don't run a good business. I have no idea why all these places on Harbor Boulevard don't have better business practices considering the facts. It's pretty sad. Still debating to go in and talk to the manager about what happened or not.

Worst place in the entire world. A complete rip off. Whoever dictates the social media platform for this company should be fired. Terrible company. If I could, I would give negative 5 stars. Save yourself and DO NOT GO!

David will lie about car availability

They lie about their inventory just to get you in the door. I called to ask about a car and David told me it was still available. Drove 30 minutes to find out it was gone.
