TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought a 2016 car from this dealer and have had nothing but trouble with the vehicle. I put $4200 down on this car. I have had this car 5 months with 2 of those months that it has been undriveable, I have not been helped. They want me to get a co-signer when I didn't need one to get this car. HELP!!!!!!!!

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. First appointment I made a whole week prior with Kim, my sales rep, because I live a distance away. At this appointment I had to wait at least 30 minutes just for them pull the vehicle around. Kim said if took awhile to move cars around. You would think they would of had the vehicle ready considering I had an appointment. Second time around is when I went to finalize the paperwork and pick up my new vehicle. After driving over an hour (with a baby) to Lexus of Ramsey I was told the vehicle was not ready because it needed to be jumped and would need a new battery. This is probably true reason why it took so long to pull vehicle around at first appointment. Granted I was given a loaner vehicle at this point. I was told the vehicle would be delivered to me considering the situation and in two days it should be in and I would receive a phone call. During the next 5 days I was ghosted by Kim. When I finally got ahold of her she didn’t know if my vehicle was ready and I asked her to please let me know by the end of the day. Kim again reassured me the vehicle would be delivered to me. She never got back to me that day. The next time we spoke days later I was told the battery was being delivered that day and once again that vehicle would be delivered to me. The next day the vehicle was ready but after 3 times of first offering delivery and twice reassuring me I was told it could not be delivered anytime soon due to manpower. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone they are ruthless inconsiderate people who will say anything to win you over. Very shady business.

I had a great buying experience but that's where the joy ended. First off, the car I was buying had 7000 miles on it which was NOT disclosed on the web site. Nevertheless, I negotiated a price accordingly and made the deal; Richard McDowell did an outstanding job delivering the vehicle. As all the other reviews indicated, there is little to no post-sales support and the team is useless and not responsive. Wayne Schey talks a good game but takes no action after the lip service. Despite agreeing to a certain price out the door, I ended up having to pay $225 extra when picking up my new plates. So much for honoring a negotiated deal not to mention the exorbitant up-front fees for documentation, registration, blah blah blah. My salesperson Pat Ruane quit shortly after selling the car and so did Lexi in Finance. As a result of a mismanaged dealership, all my requests (e.g. family duplicate registration, new vanity plates, etc.) fell through the proverbial crack. While I like my vehicle, I will surely go elsewhere for service and won't visit their showroom again. Perhaps they could spend less time and money on the renovation and more time improving customer satisfaction. As with the other reviews, a polite and diplomatic response from the dealer follows but it's just more lip service since no improvements have been made. blah blah blah. (insert diplomatic response from dealership here... or don't)

I was in to look at a used car , drove an hour to see it…only to get there and the car clearly had water damage, rust inside and white MOLD! Can’t believe they would even consider selling this car to anyone.. stay away!!!

High pressure deceptive sales practices.

I bought a new 2011 Lexus IS250 from Prestige Lexus in November 2011. While the car was fine, I just realized from buying my new car that the finance manager lied to me about the new car warranty from Lexus. He told me the warranty was for 3 years / 50,000 miles when Lexus gives a 4 year new car warranty. I told him I was going to drive the car a lot and he convinced me to buy an extended warranty to increase the new car warranty to 3 year / 80,000. The only paper work I got for the purchase was a line note on the sales contract that said 3 / 80,000 to describe the $800 fee included. Obviously to cover up the lie since the new car warranty from the factory is good for 4 years. Also was not disclosed that road side assistance was included, and the new car powertrain warranty is actually 6 years / 70,000 from the factory. I was even pressured into buying the warranty with a plea that he needed to send his daughter to college. Although 10 years ago, I’m still angered knowing I was sold an add on product based on a lie about the warranty that already came with the car. I recommend buying the car, but get the financing elsewhere so you can avoid the high pressure deceptive sales practices just to benefit the dealers wallet!

Very very bad customer service

Was there yesterday to inquire about trade in for our Lexus. The sales person didn’t even offer us to have a seat. He told us right away that the new lease payment for the new NX would be double. He was like telling us to go home because the lease is expensive for you. He did not ask us first if we were willing to do it. He even did not ask our names. This is Bad, very bad customer service.

Hi, I thought of writing my experience at this dealership. I found the vehicle in this pandemic time at this dealership and drove from Virginia. I was able to complete the purchase and get out from the dealership quickly as they were closing for Christmas Eve. After that , due to pandemic - the salesperson I was working with sick for a week and nobody at the dealership responded to the questions I had with my car. I called multiple times to the dealership and they connect me to manager but it goes to voicemail and they never responded back . Honestly the customer service and the respect to customer is 0 here. The salesperson was friendly and made the purchase to complete on that day. As I am writing this review , I called twice today too to talk to somebody but in vain. Thanks update again on 2/11/2022 (bought vehicle on 12/24/2021 49 days) : I have my concerns not addressed yet and received no proper response. the manager number, they posting on review don't work and never responds to voicemails. left more than 50 voicemails to the number. even sent emails, no response for now.

Maybe buy new, but def not CPO

Love my Lexus, but the dealer is sub par at best. Long story short my car is CPO and the clear coat is peeling off it. Chad Kunz assured me they do a paint check where they xxxxx the quality. Turns out both rear quarter panels were repainted by a body shop. See pics where the clear coat is peeling up. I just don't understand why prestige is so unresponsive to these issues. I spoke with Ricardo Mota months ago and he was so unresponsive that Lexus corporate had to get involved. Thats what prompted prestige to have Chad call me. Also, they assured me the car was aligned when I picked it up, BUT it was pulling to the left. Instead of saying Josh lets take a look and see....they lied again and said it was aligned. I took the car to Lexus of Manhattan and they pulled the service records...Prestige did not align the car. The doors are also holding water, but that is being serviced by another dealer, thank god.

Love my lexus, but the dealer is terrible. I bought a certified pre owned RC. Chad Kunz assured me that they went over the cars with a paint machine to ensure quality. The clear coat is peeling off the car. Took it to a specialist and they showed me right where it was taped off as a body shop actually repainted each rear quarter. Prestige does not properly screen CPO cars. Furthermore, the dealer assured me the car was aligned before I picked it up. The car pulled to the left. I called them about it and they lied again and said it was aligned. Took it to lexus of Manhattan and they showed me the service record, prestige never aligned the car. We had other issues with the car and I spoke to Ricardo Monta/mota…long story short they did not respond for over a month so lexus corporate had to get involved. I’d say maybe buy a new car there but not a CPO one. They ignore their cpo customers.
