Buyer Beware: Old School hidden fees dealership.

The only reason I give this a 2 is because the female salesperson was good. I’m afraid this dealership has a practice of not disclosing market adjustment fees to potential customers upfront in order to get them in the door and at the table. The sales lady that helped us would be much better suited at a reputable dealership. She could do so much better. As we were contemplating a purchase, I asked for a printout out of tax, tag, title and fees. They had a Market Adjustment Fee of roughly 6%! Total out the door was about $7k on top of the purchase price of $32,590. As we were leaving another person was looking at a 21k vehicle and said the total was over $29k after fees. Just ask for the fees up front before you travel a couple of hours to get there like we did.

Almost bought a car but thank god we went further to check it out and found that it was in an accident. They lie to you here so beware of this place. Many bad reviews and now I know why.

10/10 !! Edward was my salesman and he was the best salesman I’ve ever worked with. Anything we needed, he provided and was on our side. I purchased a GLE 43 AMG and i traded in my car. They kept their word and honored my trade in amount on carmax. Fast and smooth experience and very professional !!

If I could give this dealership negative zero stars, I would. And I’m warning people ahead of time, to stay away from these people. We walked into the dealership on February 28th, 2022 looking to purchase a vehicle. I called ahead of time, made sure I had all my pre-approval paper work together and was ready to to purchase a car. I sat down with a Charles who was super pleasant initially (as they always are) and the deal was sealed. Seamlessly. Until AFTER I signed the paperwork he tells me, “hey, the jeep has a manufacturer recall on it, I’m going to take it there early tomorrow morning, get it fixed, clean the car up for you, and then I’ll drive it to you tomorrow It will be a quick fix”. I asked was he sure since I lived about an hour away and he reassured me this would be no problem. The next day comes, and I still have no vehicle. I call Charles and ask what’s going on and he tells me “there’s a long line at Jeep because of the recall, I’m waiting on a status from the mechanics and I’ll get back to you.” A week passed and I decided to call Jeep myself. I was told that this car doesn’t even have a recall on it and they were waiting on approval from Platinum Cars to order a piece for the alternator. Second big lie. I continued calling and was told that the piece would take 7-10 days to arrive and so I would be sent a rental car in the meantime. This is already two weeks after my Jeep was supposed to be delivered to me. I call again and ask for Charles because he was my original salesman and learned that Charles had actually been fired from Platinum Cars. Going forward, I would be dealing with David. A rental was delivered to me and dropped off at my house with no notice. Before I could even check out the rental, whoever dropped it off had left and I realized that the rental had a significant defect— it doesn’t even start in its own. Still confident that I would get my Jeep by the 10th business day, I started using my personal electricity and portable jumper to start the vehicle and take me where I needed to go. Of course, I couldn’t go long distances in fear of getting stuck far from home in a dead car that had no ability to start. 7-10 business days has passed, I call David and he tells me there’s a quick way to get the part but when the part arrived it was a piece for another Jeep, not compatible with mine. Another lie. Another delay. He offers to give me another rental if only I drive the original defective rental an hour back to the dealership. I refused because of course, the rental was not reliable enough to take me long distances. The last straw was me going to my local gym for an early morning workout and getting stuck with the Jeep in the gym parking lot. Luckily, I had my portable jumper but had to sit around, in terrible weather for TWO hours charging this jumper in order to make it 15 minutes back home. Not to mention, 30 days have passed and the car note and insurance are due for payment, yet, I’ve NEVER driven or even had the vehicle in possession. I call David who began making empty promises after Charles was fired, and I’m now being avoided. My phone calls are not returned and neither are my text messages. I called and asked for him superior, and they refuse to give me any information on how to escalate this atrocious transaction—if that’s even what you want to call it. I was clearly more than patient with Platinum Cars, Charles and David and was taken for a joke. I still have no jeep and no rental. As a result, I will be taking matters into my own hands and escalating this issue and every public platform and social media site so that consumers are aware of the issues and poor treatment I have received and am still receiving up until this very moment. They’ve even refused to compensate for my first car not and insurance payment for a vehicle that deep down THEY KNEW they shouldn’t have sold.

Definately would recommend this dealership. Good inventory and professional people. Bought a BMW 4 series from them - couldn't be happier. The whole buying experience was positive from start to finish. Ask for David.

What a terrible experience! This place is exactly what gives "used car salespeople" a bad name and reputation! I drove from Charlotte to look at and buy a Mercedes only to be told 1 hour after agreeing on a price that they could not honor that price. what a joke.! Knowing I drove 4 hours and thinking I would bend they were wrong and more importantly unprofessional. This place is run by a bunch of unprofessional idiots that don't deserve your time and money. I guess they thought someone else will walk in the door behind me and buy it at their price. Three weeks later I receive a "price drop" notification from a website and guess what.....its the car I was attempting to buy. I'll tell you, there's not a sales person in the building and not anyone smart enough to take your hard earned money!!! go elsewhere

I would give zero stars if I could they should seriously be close down. It’s a shame how they can get away with all the things they get away with. They should be locked up for selling these pricey cars that have so many issues leaving buyers stuck with worrying how they can pay their car loan and repairs . They give you the vehicles nasty and knowing the vehicle has all kind of issue or needs tire and a battery . They treat you well tell you they will take care of any issue after you leave and you see you have problems that’s when they are rude when you call a few times they get ugly or hangs up in your face. I’m surprised with all the bad reviews something they don’t get audited. I wish I seen or was washed beforehand . I’m surprised that any banks will finance anything they own. Oh and now they say they are under new management and they will comment under reviews stating this and pretend the are sorry.this happen to you. They are not sorry the only thing they are sorry about is you leaving them alone with all your vehicle problems

Went in to dealership to see inventory my salesperson was busy with other customer so they send me Elijah, He was very helpful he actually convinced me to by an Audi...I had to think about it, so I came back the next day and purchase it. Elijah was great and patient because I had my eyes on other vehicles.
