Do NOT have your vehicle serviced here. Their shop was the one and only to service our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Several days ago my wife's wheel almost fell off due to the wheel studs breaking. Main causes for this: Not tightening lugs nuts to spec or improperly installing them. This was while traveling on the HWY in cold weather. They blamed the problem on "someone might have tried to steal your wheels". (Not likely since my wife parks in a secured lot at work and a lock garage at home). They would not accept any fault and would not work with us to come to a compromise. Wrote a letter to GM asking for a phone call after speaking with the Service Director and getting nowhere. GM never called us back.
Worse Experience Buying A Vehicle
We drove two hours to go look at a minivan at Palmen. We were ready to buy a minivan that day if we found the right one. Palmen gave us a low ball appraisal compared to three other appraisal we had already had on our trade-in. They finally raised it after we had proof of higher appraisals. We came to an agreement on the trade-in. However, we were told we couldn't take the vehicle home because they did not have the title yet. We were told that is why the minivan was off to the side, it is because it wasn't ready to be sold yet. It was also not detailed yet. This is odd because it was posted all over online that it was ready to be sold. With all the red flags, we still said we would come back when the title came in. They called us about a week later and said the title came in. We drove back to get the minivan. When we got there, the minivan was maybe quickly vacuumed out. They said it was detailed but it definitely was not. There was dog hair all over it still, candy wrappers in the door, windows were dirty and the list goes on. We had them clean it out more and it wasn't even quality cleaned. I still had to go back and wipe everything down. They had a week to clean this vehicle and couldn't even try to do a decent job. I would never go back. It was over a $40,000 vehicle and this was the treatment it received.
Truck Trading Perfection
The part i really appreciated about it was the fact that of the fine gentleman i worked with, Tim, Matt and Teddy, they understood that the 1 truck they had on the lot I liked but had one feature that I did not want to have on a truck I would buy for the future. I had said feature, Ramboxes, on the truck I traded and I think they was a great creation by Ram. I like the Ramboxes and the way they create extra storage on the outside of the truck for ease of access. However with my current and expanding family situation, I was going to need a standard bed. After I explained this to all 3 of them, they were polite and receptive of my request and worked hard to find a truck they could do a truck for truck swap that was on my wheelhouse of options. They were able to accomplish just that and I am very appreciative as the truck I purchased will hopefully be a lifelong vehicle turned into a collector's item since it is a special edition truck.
Did everything as explained with no surprises. Work was done in a timely manner! Found a repair I was unaware of and took care of it saving me a future problem.
Great salesman terrible management
We were searching for a new car and were working with Sergio. He was amazing and worked tirelessly trying to find the right fit for us. We went in one day to check out a car. While working with Sergio, he went to talk with a man named Ted about 20ft away from us. Ted began to belittle Sergio as well as us. Saying things like "If they don't like it they can leave". We were within ear shot and had been in talking with Sergio for about 5 minutes so it was said for no reason. Hearing the way he talks to his employees and about the customer left a really bad taste. I feel bad because I would have liked to work with Sergio however there is no way in xxxx I will be buying a car from any Palmen. Luckily we went elsewhere and had a great experience all around.

Vince did a great job as our sales rep. Mark did his best to get us the price that we wanted. This is the third Jeep that we have purchased from Palmen.
A GREAT Costumer Service Experience
My experience was an excellent one because of Chuck Schovain. Chuck is personable and took the time understand our situation as I was looking for a vehicle. Chuck is - in my opinion - the quintessential employee. He is out to "get the sale" but he does it in such a way where he puts the needs of the customer first so that the experience is a win-win. A win for the company in that they sell a vehicle and a win for the customer in that they get a vehicle that they can both afford and be happy with. I came back because I asked Chuck to treat my wife fairly when she came to purchase her vehicle...and he did just that. My wife was treated with respect, honesty and fairness and absolutely loves her vehicle. And it's because of Chuck that we are a repeat customer.
Sleezeball Sales Operation
If you have a trade in, avoid this place all together. My trade in value was $3,000 and they offered $500. That was $1,200 less than four prior dealer offers. Sales guy (Ian) told me to go to Carmax for a quote and offered to pick me up if I got a nice offer. Well, I went to Carmax right away and they offered $1,500. By the time I was done, sales guy said he had someone else interested in the vehicle who was ‘prepared to put a lot of money down’. As if I wasn’t!!! It became clear they lowballed me as they knew another buyer was right behind me. Sleezeballs!!!
Wonderful place to buy a car. Our salesman was very helpful and professional. The finance person was helpful and professional as well. Both were very friendly. The manager was as well.
Easy car buying experience!
Chuck was friendly and low-pressure. The negotiation process was quick and painless and we got a great deal on a great vehicle! It was well worth the extra drive!
