Bad service! We bought an SUV with a car care service for oil change and was told the service can be redeemed at any VW dealership. Due to personal circumstance we had to drive the car to CA and was refused service at a CA dealership and was told that it can only be used at the dealership that sold the package (Onion Creek VW). We contacted Onion Creek VW to cancel the package bc the car need to stay in CA for a while and was told that they will email us the form to cancel. We waited a week and they never did. We got lie to and now stuck with the package that was paid for but can not be used. I do not recommend this dealership

Unorganized, unprofessional, shady, greasy and a bunch of other negative comments. The employees don't stay very long. The work is done to the minimum. There is no master tech doing the multi point inspections. So they lie to you in writting. Hmmm, lawsuit !

DO NOT GO HERE especially if you are naive about cars and maintenance. They will just do work on your car, without the car needing it, and without calling to get an okay from the OWNER. Then when you come in to pay, they charge you for it. I went in for an oil change and a 30,000 mile check up which I expected to be about $200.... well I was charged nearly $1200 for work I NEVER EVEN ASKED FOR. Their "technicians" are nothing but modern day con artists looking to manipulate the population who knows nothing about cars and put their TRUST into people who do. Also my oil change light turned back on within a few hours.

I bought a used car from them and 5 days after driving it off the lot my headlight was out so I called them and was told they would fix my headlight for free since it was so soon after my purchase. When I get to the dealership I was told it would take 20 mins to fix. 2.5 hours later I’m still sitting here and now being told whoever told me that shouldn’t have and that it would cost me over $150. If they would have just been upfront and honest in the first place I would not have driven over an hour away to get this fixed when I could have simply paid the local car dealership to fix it.

Amazing service from start to finish

My experience with this dealership has been exemplary! Everything from the first meeting with our sales person, Cody, to getting the car through service for pickup. We purchased the car within 24 hours of the car hitting the lot and it was over a holiday. We agreed to the purchase prior to the car even making it to service to inspect the car. They found a couple of items and corrected all of those issues. Service had to order a part or two and I brought the car back a couple of weeks later and they repaired that item and also another item that was discovered with no hassle what so ever. Brian was my service adviser and was amazing. As I was heading out, one of the issues that was repaired triggered the warning light again. He told me to schedule to bring it back in and they will get it taken care of. I have not had the opportunity to do that as of yet, but hope to soon. I have the car out of state and bringing it back is difficult to schedule. They have bent over backwards to work with me. It is for these reasons that I will return to Onion Creek VW. I plan on upgrading in a couple of years and with this level of service, I will return to Austin to make the deal happen!!!

I was devastated after I found out that my (newly bought) used car had $4K+ problems. An oil leak, water pump leak, torn bushing, alignment, the list goes on. Clearly the dealership I bought it from did nothing for it. Luckily, I bought an extended warranty for it and Felipe spent hours on the phone with them making claims and handling the inspector that the dealership sent. He helped me get EVERYTHING accounted for through the warranty I bought with the small exception of an oil change. Thank you for your excellent service!!!

Good experience buying used Jetta TDI Sportwagen

My salesperson was Jayne. All our communication was by email then text. I had been searching nationwide for a very low mileage TDI sportwagen black on black color. Knowing that I would have to fly i go pick it up, then drive over 700 miles home, Jane handled the car transaction with pure transparency, and she arranged my airport pick up. I'm very hard to please, and Jane along with her finance man Tom made this painless, and professional. This is a very busy dealership, and would highly recommend them to anyone.
