Okoboji Motor Company

I had a rather bad experience with this dealership and it is not what I have experienced in the past with other Toyota dealerships. I bought a 2021 Tacoma that was used. It had a rack and tent system on the truck when I purchased it. Several days later I was contacted by the dealership and asked to bring the tent system back. They was supposed to take the tent off before it sold. I brought the tent back and they offered nothing for the tent. Then they took 7 weeks to get the title from the lien holder and that cost me a late fee for my plates because it was not registered with 30 days. We also bought a Dodge Journey at the same time. They stated the vehicle had been checked by their service department. An independent shop checked the Dodge and found two of the motor mount bolts missing. There was also another part that needed to be replaced and they are now telling us they can't do it. When we have called to voice concerns they promise to call us back with an answer and they have never returned the calls. This is not what I have expected. I will not do business with this company again. I am very disappointed with the type of customer service this company has provided.

Went in with a quote on a vehicle and they wouldn't honor it. It took well over 5 hours. We agreed to a price and went to lunch while they did the paperwork. Once we got back they had jacked up the price and just expected us to go along with it. I wanted to leave and would NEVER buy a car from this type of business. In my view they are not trustworthy.

We have purchased two vehicles from them. They are personable and answered our questions. Very clean dealership. Everyone was very friendly.

I experienced professional and helpful service when my car had a recall for the airbags. Wade made sure I knew the schedule for the repairs and the time it would take.

While I did not purchase a car from this dealership, they were truly responsive to my request for information about an older car I was interested. Would certainly do business with them in the future if the opportunity arose!
