Backed up the sale

by LA Isuzu guy on Feb 26, 2018

Mike came through for me and my son. The 2002 Isuzu which we purchased actually broke down before my son could get onto the freeway after picking up the car. Mike brought it back, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the transmission with a rebuilt. Legally, he may not have had to do a thing, but he did the right thing, at no additional cost to us. This is hard-to-match honesty and service.

Worst car ever

I went in at the beginning of the month to purchase a car. I am currently in college and didn't want a hefty car loan so I decided to purchase used. I bought a car, whole process was simple and the guy that helped me was very professional and nice. I haven't even had the car for more than a month and it has already been in the shop three separate times, has been towed twice and the last time in the shop it was going to cost over 2000 in repairs. I haven't even had the car for a month and I already was having to put money into it. Luckily I decided to go to a real car dealership today and they helped me get out of the bad situation I was in and now I have a reliable car and I am happy that I will never have to see that terrible pt cruiser again

Stopped in to see a few vehicles. One was actually on the lot, one was stuck on the showroom floor due to broken door and the third was in maintenance for "something". Test drove the one I could. Price was okay but there was a lot of broken splash panels under the whole front end. They were very firm on price even with damage I noted. Every wheel had been curbed. Told sales person to call about the one in maintenance. Never got a call. NOT very impressed with the dealership at all.

Sold a car to senior lady that broke down a week later

by JezzaZ on Dec 05, 2017

New Deal and service manager Jerry Garcia sold my 79 year old mother a car late October 2017 that the brakes started squeaking four days after she bought it. When she took it back in, the service manager Jerry Garcia told her he would not help in fixing the car. A few days later the car would not start and she had to be towed. The car started later that evening and again each time for about a week, but yesterday again would not start and once again had to be towed. I called the dealer and spoke to "Jerry Garcia the service manager" who sold her the car and was told he was not willing to help fix the broken car he sold her. I feel that New Deal Auto and service manager Jerry Garcia cheated my mother, a senior citizen who's car was totaled after she was broadsided by a red light runner.out of the small amount of money she had to replace her vehicle. If the service manager is willing to sell an old lady a piece of crap car in need of repairs, knowing she only has a small amount of money, imagine he wouldn't think twice of taking advantage of you!. If you are wise DO NOT BUY A CAR AT NEW DEAL USED CARS!

Great selection of automobiles and prices are low; but, the quality and the condition of the auto's is poor. Many with damaged exterior and interior or even missing parts

I came here to buy the G35 Sedan 2008 which has 135k miles, it was listed for 9K. The car looked decent for its age. After all said and done, total price is 10 1/2 K out of the door. They insisted only cashier check is accepted, I had to go to the bank to buy the cashier checks which cost me 20 bucks. Dealer agreed to complete detailing the car if I agree to pay $100 dollars more, wanting to have it nice and clean, I agreed , Dearler agreed, to register full year. None of these promises came true. But the worst part is when the woman who prepare the papers was very irritated, she threw the papers on the desk and guided her finger as if she wanted me to sign, she did not shake my hand nor say thank you for your business. Her altitude was strange. How rude!?! I was calm and quiet but did not know what to do but gently walked out. Advice: If you need some reliable car dealer to do your business, go somewhere else, this is a third world class kind of dealer, no coffee, no bottle water, very dirty restroom. New deal means bad deal and everything is old.

Went in to the dealer to look at one car. They didn't play any games or try to sell us anything else. No extra hidden dealer ads or anything great customer service there was a rattle on the front rode side of the vehicle and they promised to fix it no extra charge and put it in the contract that they'd fix it. I'd highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for an inexpensive car and excellent customer service

easy experience

The lot and the offices are underwhelming, to say the least. There wasn't much flexibility when it came to negotiating price and the sales person was fairly new and didn't seem especially knowledgeable about the car I was interested in. But the experience was pleasant enough with no pressure. We worked out financing arrangements quickly enough and so far I am happy with my vehicle.
