Cannot honor contracts

by Redd on Oct 21, 2019

I bought a car from them and several days later received a phone call stating I needed to bring the vehicle back because there lender didn’t approve the contract interest payment. They wanted to re-negotiate the contract terms and have me pay a larger down pavement (already put down $1000), or pay a higher monthly rate. Both of which were unacceptable. So I returned the car where they then attempted to have me pay for mileage used for not bringing it back immediately when I was called. Note: This was a non-conditional delivery contract agreement so I was not obligated to bring it back immediately. They only offered me a full reimbursement after I called them out on this.

Costumer service lacking

1.0
by MRN on Oct 09, 2019

Photocopied my ID and then threw the document in a public trashcan outside as I was leaving. Rude service from receptionist and sales clerk who periodically spit on the floor as he followed us around the lot. I was expecting the bare minimum (based on a previous interaction with the receptionist) and was still disappointed. You can’t really expect me to walk in to look at cars as a ray of sunshine when my previous requests for inventory checks on a car went unanswered and a receptionist acted so impatiently and rude on the phone.

THIS 👏 PLACE 👏 IS 👏A 👏 JOKE Remember the dad from the movie "Matilda"? The crooked car dealership guy? Yea, this place is like that, except more deceptive with their fancy (and probably still crappy) show cars in the lounge. First off, their cars are overpriced but they claim they are priced for "what they are." Meaning they KNOW stuff is wrong with them and "price them accordingly", but in reality they are still overpriced and they aren't upfront about why the car was priced at a "decent rate". Second, they sold us ( a couple with 3 kids and one on the way-which they knew) a car that had been in an accident and put back together with ZIPTIES, plus something wrong with the airbag sensor, probably due to the accident, which we found out by taking it to our mechanic. It wasn't visible to us non-mechanics, but immediately visible to our mechanic, so the dealership either fixed it up like this themselves or had to know it was like this when they got it and inspected it. That or they have really clueless mechanics, but there's no way any decent mechanic would have missed that. When we requested they look into the airbag problem because they shouldn't be selling cars with safety concerns as such, they told us it wasn't included in the warranty and if we get into an accident and it doesn't deploy we can sue Nissan. So basically, the safety of our family isn't their problem or concern, and they have no issues selling clearly unsafe cars to individuals or families. Third, when we bought the car, they wouldn't negotiate on the price because they "put at least $1,000 into the mechanics of the car"...but after our mechanic looked at it and told us everything that was faulty and we called them asking if they worked on the car, they said "No, we only put oil and fluids in"...hmmm ok so their story has suddenly changed. Also, when we test drove the car, we noticed the tire sensor light was on, but was assured by the salesman the tires just needed air and that it would be done before we bought it. When we picked it up the next day, the light was still on and when we mentioned it, we were told air was already put in and we just "have to drive at least 30 miles" for the light to go off. Now, we aren't mechanics, and it sounded fishy, but we trusted them to be honest. Nope. Turns out the sensor for one of the tires needs to be repaired completely- again, probably due to the accident. Overall, they appear on the outside to be a decent, well priced, used car dealership that would appeal to people in need of a car and on a budget. In reality, they sell overpriced junk cars that they refuse to fix and then lie about the cars condition. They provided a "CarFax" but luckily for them the most recent accident/fix up was omitted so they were able to get away with selling a car put together by zipties that they probably did themselves. DO NOT BUY HERE - their prices aren't that great, they have no morals, and their cars are run down - you can spend the same amount of money at a more reputable dealership and get a better quality vehicle and hopefully put money into the pocket of a salesman / owner that actually cares about safety and doing the right thing.

Illegal practices

Bought a vehicle in cash for $5750. Within a week, wouldn’t start and overheated. 3 mechanics, new tires, wipers, spark plugs, oil filter, oil change, and tons of coolant. Still mechanical issues. Fast forward, never received plates. MVD doesn’t have request for them. Dealership claims waiting on lien title from owner. This is 2007 Equinox. Wait a week while calling every day. General manager is always in meetings. Service manager said 15 day warranty is up and not their problem. Car drives one mile and shuts off. In person at dealership and get told discrepancy with tile. Sales person was smug until read the law - must have title before selling vehicle. Needless to say we are reporting to BBB, retaining an attorney, and notifying news station. This dealership took advantage of our 19 y/o son!

Dec 2018 I saw a 04 Sebring convertible listed. upon arriving I wanted to look at 2 other cars listed before testing the sebring. Cameron Short met me as I entered the lot and was a great help. I tested a Altima i saw on the website and another sebring then tested the sebring I really wanted. The car was great Cameron provided a carfax for vehicle which showed all service records ect and within a hour I was driving it home. 7 months later and over 6000 mikes the car is running strong. I use it to make cali runs every chance I get as I bought it as a secind vehicle to travel in.

Two Words, Buyer Beware!!

Ok where do I start? Found the car on craigslist with a carfax report. So checked it out, found out been through 10 owners and 3 accidents! It was a 2000 SAAB 9-3 Turbo convertible and talked with a salesman named Matt. So I called the day to come and see car, no answer left a message with no response no impressed! So get there and he has no clue about car, and go to start the car, doesn't start dead battery! The car has been sitting on their lot for 6 months. So get started and sounds ok even though I see oil deposits on some of the lines inside of the engine. So go for a ride, 1st red flag passenger door latch is broken, so can't get out of car, really? Next, driver seat has stitching coming apart and some switches not working. The best is you are selling a convertible and Matt tries to release the top and the handle comes off in his hands, really! I say I want to see the top go up and down, and he has no clue goes into the office, comes out and says top doesn't work, you're kidding me right? So personally I would stay away from this place and run and keep your money and find a decent vehicle with no issues. Now I know that vehicle has been sitting there for 6 months and these people are just typical slime car salesmen just looking for a buck and does not care about the customer! Probably would better off going private party and get the truth and disclose really problems with a vehicle. Selling a convertible with a non working top, can't stop laughing :-))))

False advertising

Went here to buy a car here. Website says all credit types and $777 down gets you a car. We went in there with $1000 down on a $3400 car. Was told that I would need to put a $2400 down payment on any car in the lot. If I had $2400 to put down on a car I would have went to a better dealer and got a better car. They false advertise and lie plus the cars are not in good shape. DO NOT GO HERE.
