Very deceptive fees papped to the sales contract.

I didn't want to haggle and purchase a used car so we bit the bullet and bought a brandnew car utilizing the A plan the price is a fixed rate 2% less than dealer cost , so no haggling and have always felt atleast we know the cars true history. Well when we sat down to sign for the loan after putting a substantial down payment I knew we would be approved what I didn't know is after very adamantly telling this lady we don't want any extended warrenties or gap insurance, then she said I need you to sit back behind the computer and your husband will be the one signing well we both thought nothing more if it , and after we were done she handed my husband a thumbdrive instead of the paper work I thought nothing of it went home and put the thumbdrive into the computer and that's when we discovered she copied and pasted my husband's signature to where he was purchasing $10000 in bogus extended warrenties and gap insurance! We immediately went back to the dealer first thing the next morning and the manager oh no problem you'll get this taken off , so a week later I get a letter from the baNo stating that they cannot remove those charges without a completely new contract so I call the dealer manager immediately and he says no problem xxxx take care of it , well now it's a month wasted and still own ten thousand dollars for bogus extended warranties then we call an attorney that specializes in dealership fraud , he tells us this is common they get kickbacks from the bank for padding the loan. He says if there is a class action lawsuit that's about the only way the dealer will give you back your money! Well then I contacted the bogus extended warrenty company and file for a refund first they claim I didn't fill out the paperwork right it has to be formatted a certain way so then I resubmit the claims finally after nine months I've gotten most of the extended warranties cancelled but the gap insurance and another bogas warranty for some coating that obviously wasnt applied because I took immediate position they didn't apply it because I took immediate position. So after nine months of wrangling with these people I'm only out about $3500 in bogas charges , I hope this makes sense do not take position until you get the sales contract printed out so you can catch them in the act and best yet go buy elsewhere and remember do not allow them to hand you a thumbdrive because you need to be able to see what they've copied and pasted your signature to and sure the thumbdrive is nice but do not let them away with not giving you a copy right there and now so you don't find out they've copied and pasted your signature to $10000 in junk extended warrenties and gap insurance.

Overall experience 1.0 Does not recommend this dealer. Did purchase a vehicle.

This is my second car I purchased from Ford Montrose and each time my sales rep was Chris Evans. Chris is not only an excellent sales rep he is also a caring, honest and nice person. I wish I could rate my experience higher than 5 because that's just how important Chris made feel each time.

Less than satisfying service department. Tried calling Randy Dorco multiple times, leaving multiple voicemails only to receive to no call back. Went to him in person only to be told lies about what had happened along with a series of lies and pieces together stories and lies from his employees. Nate is absolutely arrogant and incompetent. Should not be in the service the industry. I don’t think either of them have actually ever worked on a vehicle themselves let alone diagnosed one with an issue. Will never bring another vehicle to them and will make sure nobody I’m associated with does either.

Despite delays in receiving them, which was the fault of Ford Motor Co., our salesman Chris Evans and the team at Montrose were excellent to work with. We appreciate their kindness. July 13, 2022 - Having recently totalled my vehicle in an accident, I went to Montrose Ford looking for another Ford Escape and was welcomed at the door by awesome salesperson, Josh Mills. Within minutes, he found me the exact car I was looking for at an excellent price. We went looking for a Mustang GT and had the best experience at Montrose Ford. We traveled two hours and we couldn't of asked for a more kind salesman, Chris Evans. He was very helpful and had us in and out of the dealership in less than two hours. Would definitely buy from him again!! The finance man, don't remember his name was exceptionally nice also.
