It's a friendly place to get a used car from this place and overall they don't fix cars here but it's easy payments that you can afford from them I never got a bad deal or a bad car from the dealership here I been going through this place for over 5 years now

We had a TERRIFIC experience at Mark Berger Motors on Monday. After seeing the posting for a 2010 Suburban online, we called and spoke to Tom who honestly (how refreshing1) answered our questions and agreed to hold the car for us. We then drove from Madison, WI to Rockford to buy this car and it was WELL WORTH the trip! Tom was honest, willing to deal, and gave us a very fair price. He was more concerned with our being happy customers and him receiving positive feedback and referrals than with the bottom line. He went lower than the price we asked; we were surprised and grateful! He also let us check out the car without pressuring us and didn't waste our time, hide faults, or lie to us. The office staff was very friendly, too. What an awesome used car buying experience! We will certainly recommend Mark Berger Motors to our friends and come back here in the future. Kudos! RUN RUN RUN! I bought a 4000 car from them, drove it for 30 minutes before it started messing up. Took it into my mechanic and he quoted over 1500 worth of work. Including steering pump, and checking the engine to see if it was even worth fixing, as well as replacing all coils if it could be fixed. Called Mark Berger back, and he had me take it to “his” mechanic that said the issue was just a power steering pump. They agreed to pay to half the price of fixing the steering pump. Car sat at there shop for a week, while I had to miss work because I came down from Wisconsin and couldn’t get back. Picked up the car, and although it did sound better the car was still misfiring. Even though his mechanic swears up and down “there is nothing else wrong with it.” I have already put an additional 700 into this car totally 4700 of wasted money and a car that’s not running anywhere near properly. I trusted Mark Berger based on reviews that I seen, and I am here to say DO NOT TRUST them period. No matter what review you see, they are SHIESTY as it comes. I will be calling the BBB as soon as I can.

I went up on friday for the weekly special they offer, and Wow! I couldn't be more happier with my decision. Tom offered amazing customer service and delivered a quality experience. Im satisfied with my purchase and I 100 percent recommend their service to anyone. The process was quick and smooth. I really enjoyed the conversation with Tom on my test drive. Mark Bergers Motors has and excellent facility. They offered popcorn and beverages, as well hold a monthly raffle with prizes. They value their customers with great extent.
