So far not impressed with the process or sale. Test drove a used Mazda then went back the next day to purchase after some negotiations. I wasn’t brought to examine the vehicle again prior to signing (also on me for not taking it upon myself to voice that I wanted to see it again) and they must have scuffed it moving it around the lot because a scrape is on the rear right bumper that wasn’t present the night before. I pointed out a hairline scratch by the right headlamp, you think I wouldn’t notice a 5-6” long scrape that’s approximately 1” thick? They had all day to prep the vehicle..why did it smell like a barn?? Did they douse it in air freshener right before I test drove it the previous evening, because it smelled clean at that time. After asking to waive their $1995 “recon” fee (I would have my own mechanic look it over..plus, you charge $2 grand for something that should have been done before you put a vehicle up for sale?) I was told it’s the law for them to perform that check because they can’t have people breaking down when they leave the lot- wouldn’t that mean there should be gas in the vehicle? They handed it off to me with 0 gas- no bars at all on the gas gauge! So if I broke down before making it to a gas station that would be acceptable? I know companies are cutting corners these days but every single person I’ve spoken to about it has said usually if you buy a car from a dealership the tank is filled for you. They couldn’t even put in 1/4 after I just handed them more than $21k. I put about 1/3 of the purchase price on my credit card, neither the sales rep, Danny, nor the cashier advised me there was a credit card fee so I was charged an additional $220. My company does the same thing but we make our customers aware 1st to see if they would rather opt for a different type of payment. So now I’m going back to switch out the credit card portion with an alternate payment method to get the $220 refunded, but I may end up having to put that money towards the work my personal mechanic says it needs if the 2 month warranty they gave on the vehicle doesn’t cover it. (Items that should have been caught in that necessary “recon”.) That’s another thing- after going through the paperwork at home, realized a copy of that 2 month warranty was missing. I’ve been asking them to email it for over a week. “I’ll try..need more time.” Time? It takes one minute to scan and send an email; if you’re too busy ask the office personnel to do it. I don’t appreciate being given the run around. They said they would be handling the insurance and registration, but with the hiccups along the way I reached out to my insurance agent to make sure he was aware of the Premierguard anti theft system I paid an extra $339 for that’s supposed to lower my premium- and he hadn’t been made aware of the purchase of the vehicle at all! I’ve had it for 2 weeks, have they also done nothing with the registration at this point? Supposed to have that hairline scratch repaired (still unclear if they’re going to touch the scrape I didn’t see until after I signed) but after hearing a coworker’s bad experience with Liccardi, and her daughter’s, not sure I even want them touching the vehicle any further. There are ways for them to make this right and if they do I will update my review but as of now I’m disgusted and aggravated.

I was actually at the dealership today for the scratch repair but you were sent the wrong paint so I have to come back. I was handed a copy of the warranty and they’re working on rectifying the credit card fee. Once that’s settled, and the documented scratch is repaired, if you guys are willing to also: -fix the scuff on the rear right bumper -perform a maintenance - change all other filters (cabin, air, transmission, fuel) ..then once registration is complete and the title is in my hands I will change this 2 star review to a 5. I feel it’s very minor things to resolve the situation. Appreciate your consideration.

I am elated with my experience at Liccardi Ford. My daughter was in need of a new car after a terrible car accident, so, my fiancé suggested I call a dealership in Virginia because he had had a good experience there 3.5 years ago. After such an awful set of circumstances around the car accident I was hoping for a smooth and pleasant experience dealing with that dealership; however, they quickly fell immensely short of that expectation. I located a car I wanted to lease and spoke with a salesman; he told me that a car would be coming to their lot soon, although it did not have all the options I was looking for. I decided to consider the car with the lesser options anyway and was transferred to someone in financing. I explained to that man that we wanted our daughter to apply for a loan on her own, but her dad would co-sign for her if needed. He said my daughter's credit was too low to secure a loan on her own and would need my ex-husband to co-sign. He came back with an outrageous interest rate, an outrageous monthly payment, and relatively low allowable annual mileage on the lease, all despite a large down payment of $8,000. Then, after finding the exact car I wanted, with all the features I wanted, online, I called Liccardi. Rebecca confirmed the car's availability, and off we went. The car's sticker was several thousand dollars more but came out to $47 LESS per month than the dealership in Virginia quoted me on the car with the lesser options. Additionally, at Liccardi, my daughter qualified for the loan on her own, and we were advised that her credit score was actually 142 points HIGHER than the dealership in Virginia told us it was. For as bad as our experience was with the dealership in Virginia, it was just as amazing at Liccardi. Pablo our salesman, Sulu, the manager, and Charlie, in finance, were helpful, kind, informative, flexible, knowledgeable, and fun. Why would I give an entire background on a poor experience at one dealership only to give a good review to Liccardi? So people can understand just how devious some dealerships are. Our experience at Liccardi was phenomenal. We highly recommend them, but especially Pablo. Good luck to anyone looking to purchase or lease, but you won’t need luck if you go to Liccardi.

They have a vehicle I am/was interested in. When I asked about their "dealer fees" structure, two different "Internet Sales Specialists", they were unwilling to discuss; I suspect the fees are exorbitant; kind of like a bait and switch: priced in line with price guides and then they tack on unreasonable fees; I am no longer inclined to do any business with them.

Was told a Ford Bronco was available for purchase after inquiring about it online. Set up an appointment to purchase. The day of the appointment I was told i could do the online credit application prior to driving 2 hours to the appointment to speed up the buying process. AFTER my credit report was ran was I told the vehicle wasn't for sale yet and that it was still a demo vehicle but would be available next week if I wanted to put a deposit down. Also AFTER my credit report was ran was I told there would be a 10,000$ mark up on the vehicle I was interested in. Things were very poorly executed.

2019 Navigator-I'm 6 hours away, but it's the color combo my wife has to have. I call a salesman and say "I understand it's a used vehicle, but please make me aware of any blemishes or issues" I sent paperwork and had a meeting scheduled nearly a week ahead of time. I get there, they don't have the paperwork and the vehicle is nowhere to be seen. They added a $1,600 reconditioning fee to a vehicle I was purchasing. They tried to finish the paperwork before they even let me see the vehicle. The car was a mess, scratches on the bumper, worn tires, terrible detail job, only 1 key, alignment issues, and several other issues that should have been repaired under warranty (it's a Lincoln Dealership, do your job). They adjust the price $500 (I was surprised at that since I was 6 hours from home). I get the car home, and the windshield washer wont work... Its frozen! They topped off the washer fluid with water!! It was a horrible experience, in hindsight I should have left the vehicle there and called the 12 hour round trip a waste. FOMoCo should consider pulling the franchise.
