I work on boats up in Alaska so communication is normally by text . I texted Nathan in July about new rims and tires(specifically winter tires) and he handed me to Caleb. Caleb researched and answered every question I had and when we found the ones I wanted put a hold on them for me so as soon as they were available. I made my appointment from the boat and brought my car in Allen had my loaner car ready to go and I was on my way in 5 minutes. My car was finished the same day and again 5 minute pick up. Awesome service on what was a 3 month project of me asking questions, getting pricing, etc.

I was looking for a used car for commuting. I didn't want to spend a lot of time negotiating... just in and out, write a check and leave, I wanted to work with a dealership I could trust to stand behind their product. I wanted to work with a dealership that respected their own reputation; that stood on their name, not some slogan. I found the car online and contacted Kuni. They were quick to get back to me and after a short listen, connected me with a sparkling sales representative, Maia Shave. She quickly understood that I was more interested in buying a car than shopping for a car. I asked a few questions and she hunted down the facts. We had a quick conversation about price and she made a modest adjustment to address my goals. Honestly, I spent maybe 20 minutes on email and maybe 5 on the phone to set up my visit to Kuni. She and the car were ready when I arrived and all-in-all I think I spent a little more than an hour on the transaction. Smooth as silk, I left with a nice little vehicle that I think will serve me well for a number of years. Thanks, Kuni, and especially, thanks Maia for getting everything right the first time. I couldn't be happier.

W. Sebastian Ney was really great. He didn't feel like a salesman at all, more like a trusted friend. His approach was not at all what I expected, and really allowed me to lower my guard and allow him to actually help me find a vehicle without worrying about being "sold". Kuni BMW definitely provides a luxury experience, not just with the cars they sell, but also with the staff and facilities they provide.

I bought a used car in cash from this dealership. I arranged to buy it over the phone and on text. I feel like they were dishonest on a few occasions. First, over email they told me that to "verify my identity" that I had to fill out a credit report form. I did it without asking questions, but in retrospect this made no sense. I bought the car with cash, there is no reason they needed to run my credit. It showed up on my credit report as them having pulled my credit - they told me this would not happen, that it was just a soft pull "to verify my identity"! It doesn't make any sense why they would need this to verify my identity... The salesman also told me he would reach out to the last owner to get the second key to our vehicle. I don't believe that he did reach out after I noticed the dealership had our car in its possession for 2 months prior to us buying it. He never followed up with us. Why say you are going to do that if you aren't, and you aren't going to follow-up either. When we got to the dealership to write the check and pickup the car, the finance guy tried to pressure us into taking a loan. That was annoying. Then when we were signing the paperwork he pressured us to buy an extended warranty for the car. I repeatedly said I did not want this warranty. He kept pushing and pushing. To get out of there we agreed to buy it and just cancel it when we got home. What a waste of my time. I feel like both the salesperson and the finance person I dealt with were not respectful and were somewhat dishonest. It was not a good experience; I left feeling taken advantage of. This should have been easy - I bought a used car with cash. It was $34,000. The one good thing I will say is that since we had arranged everything in advance and we were paying cash, the transaction when we got to the dealership was relatively quick. I think it took longer than one hour, but definitely less than 2 hours.

The credit application process served multiple purposes in your transaction. Specifically, we utilized the information you provided on the credit application to verify your identity in order to comply with federal regulations that have been in place for some time to avoid identity theft and comply with other legal mandates. Our team does not use the term "soft pull" as this pertains to account reviews and pre-screening for credit offers, and our company is not involved in either of these activities. When we review credit based on a consumers credit application, a standard credit inquiry is generated. When we accept a personal check as payment for a vehicle, we do review credit in order to assess the risk in taking the personal check. Unfortunately, dealerships continue to deal with and be at risk for non-sufficient funds (bad) checks, Regarding your key, it is our practice to check with prior owners if additional keys are needed on pre-owned vehicles and they have not been received at time of sale. No matter length of time in inventory, we are happy to check as a courtesy. Unfortunately, Jay was unable to get any other keys for you from the prior owner, and according to our systems he did attempt to reach you in July and August. I am sorry you didn't connect. Finally, please know that you were not under any obligation to purchase an extended service contract for your vehicle. Many of our customers benefit from these products and we are always happy to see when a big repair bill is avoided as a result of one of these contracts. However, if it is not something that you would like to have, please reach out and we can assist in the cancellation process. I am pleased to hear that your transaction time was relatively quick.
