Third time is a charm!
We have been to Johnson Subaru 2 X prior and purchased elsewhere. This time we got Patrick! His no pressure, calm, knowledgeable and caring approach sealed the deal. He went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied- by coming in on his time off before a trip out of state and working with us as we finalized insurance issues. We feel like we have gained a good friend as well and are very thankful!

DEALERSHIP NIGHTMARE!!! The service department of this...
DEALERSHIP NIGHTMARE!!! The service department of this dealership is absolutely ridiculous. I brought my 2018 Subaru STI in on Wednesday 11/13/19 to the shop because my car was experiencing an extreme loss of power and a faulty door. After they checked it out, and came to a diagnosis (clogged/bad catalytic converters) Clayton J Golden gave me a call explaining what had happened and tried telling me this was not covered in my extended 100k mile 7 year warranty. Then after talking back and forth with him trying to explain this extended warranty I purchased with my vehicle, he still refused to complete any repairs under my warranty. That is until I had to threaten to get my lawyer involved. Now suddenly the repairs are covered, not under warranty but as a “goodwill” of the dealership. At this point I’m just shocked that Clayton refuses my warranty yet will just fix it out of “goodwill” but as long as the job is done right. Some time goes by as I’m waiting for the call telling me my car is ready for pickup, I waited throughout the weekend figuring the department must be busy. When Monday comes along I finally decided to give them a call to check the progress of my car, for them to tell me it’s been ready, sitting in their lot since Friday!!!! They can’t even let me know when my car is ready for pickup?! I ended up going to get my car yesterday 11/19/19 and got sat down with Clayton again (who was upset/rude to me) to discuss what had been done and I get charged 90$ just for them to look at the faulty door. At least the catalytic converters have been replaced under this “goodwill” even though my warranty should have covered them. I paid the fee for them checking my door and then as I’m signing the paper work I hear a car outside being revved up loudly. At this point I am finished with the paperwork and walk outside to see what’s going on. I walk outside to the smell of burning clutch and a young man in my vehicle reving my car, riding the clutch and almost hitting every single car in the lot!!!!! The entire time this is going on I am begging to just have them let me take the car out of the lot myself but it’s not until this young man STALLS MY CAR right in front of me, they finally decide to let me take my own car out. Having bought multiple vehicles here throughout the years, I really expected better care. This whole experience “ has tainted this dealership for me and it’s safe to say they now have lost a loyal customer. I would recommend staying as far away from this dealership as possible.

Stress-free internet sales purchase - pleasant surprise!
I've never dealt with an internet sales person for a car purchase, but dreaded going into the dealership after our last experience at a different one years ago. Patrick Dunn answered all my questions, did not pressure me with time-sensitive responses, allowing me to communicate on my time-frame via email. This allowed me time to do research and check with my husband before replying to questions. Once we were at the point of needing to go to the dealership to finalize the sale, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! No surprises, no back-and-forth to a mysterious manager for approvals, just the necessary information to close the deal. Highly recommend!

Not the old style dealer
Our experience with Johnson Subaru couldn’t have been better. From our initial contact, through dozens of questions, through the sometimes ugly world of finance, each step of the way we were made to feel like this was a mutual decision making process. No pressure at any time. And they have a great product to sell. Bobby was passionate about the product and truly helped us decide the best vehicle for us.

Me and my family went into Subaru on a whim because it was right next to the Hyundai dealer and I’m so glad we did. Originally we were set on getting a Toyota Rav 4 because we were familiar with the car and we didn’t think of getting anything else. We met Robert and we went through three cars with us. We came back 4 times (we were very indecisive) and he was patient and throughout all of our visits. The most important thing is that he was honest and straightforward, that is something we didn’t too often during our car search. He was transparent with the features each car had and what features it didn’t have and we appreciate that. When we finally settled on a car (Subaru Forester) we worked so cars to get us a price that would work for us. We ended staying past closing and he didn’t leave until we walked out with our keys. It’s been two weeks since I took the car home and it is everything Robert said it was! Thanks for your patience and honestly!
