We were in the market for a pre-owned vehicle. JLR-Clear Lake first had a very easy to use website that helped us find a vehicle we were interested in. As soon as we visited, we were met with amazing customer service by David. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the process. And Shawn and the finance team made the purchase as painless as possible. Amazing people, amazing facilities, amazing service.

I previously wrote a very negative review in regards to my experience with the service department at this dealership. I want to add an update. After meeting with the dealership owner, our service advisor and shop Forman yesterday we decided to give them another opportunity to fix the issue. We were not sure how long they would have it nor did they know because they still weren’t sure what it was. I received a call from our service advisor that it was ready. I did go and drive it with the actual mechanic that worked on it and it seems to be fixed. The mechanic was very apologetic that they did not do this to begin with. He also said that after our meeting that the service mechanics were all called into a meeting over this problem. So with that said - I didn’t want to have to take it to the extent we did but once brought to the level it was the issue was properly addressed and it seems as though management took it a step further and used this as an example of what not to do as a dealership. So it was not just pushed under the rug. For that I thank them.

HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP

I purchased a 2018 Range Rover Autibiography from a dealership in Arizona. The vehicle started making a funny noise so we took it into Land Rover Clear Lake. They had the vehicle for a week and stated that it needed over $8000 of work. We authorized the work thinking that they found the issue. I picked up the vehicle on Thursday and Friday it was doing the exact same thing we took it in for to begin with. After taking it back up to the service department and having the shop foreman ride with me to duplicate it - which he heard it but was clueless as to what it was - I talked to Randy the general manager and owner. Randy tried to start off being helpful but quickly changed his tune instantly. Needless to say I told him to have my truck put back together and I will be picking it up Monday and I will be taking it to Alan’s River Centrsl in Houston to have them fix whatever it is. It is my opinion that no one should use this dealership for service and after talking with the owner - don’t ever purchase from then Because from what I’m seeing they will never stand behind their work or product. Make the drive to go to any other Range Rover dealership because this one is a joke.

Stay away from this dealership. Treatment is good till you buy the car after that they don't treat you good if you need anything from them back.

Very easy process with no pressure. David and the guys treated us like VIP’s-We got a great deal on a new vehicle and a solid price on our trade in! I recommend highly!
