Mind-blowingly bad experience. Lack of transparency with price I was to be charged was followed up by no return phone calls for weeks. I have never experienced such a total lack of respect for the customer as I did here. I live only a few miles away and own 2 Hondas I purchased before Ira took over this dealership but will never step foot in this dealer again. I have let Honda Corporate know how embarrassed they should be by Ira Honda.

Had an uncomfortable experience with the sales folks...
Had an uncomfortable experience with the sales folks today and abruptly left within 10 minutes of arriving. The sales rep couldn't find my name in their system (from my previous car purchases) and was insistent on getting my personal information, drivers license, etc. even after I said that at this stage I simply needed some basic information (personal info could certainly follow later). But what really bothered me was that no one I saw in the dealership was wearing a mask and my sales rep didn't seem able to "take the hint" when I arrived wearing a KN95 mask and wasn't interested in shaking his hand or sitting close to his desk. I don't know if the dealership was making a political statement about pandemic safety but it seems that a good sales rep should be able to "read cues" from potential customers and adjust accordingly. Today's brief interaction doesn't give me enough information fairly rate the dealership so I'll give them a neutral 3 two stars. I have been pleased with having my previously purchased Hondas serviced at this dealership but I'm now leery of the sales folks. I visited two other nearby dealerships after leaving Reading (Toyota & Honda) and the experience was safer/better. If you're concerned about the COVID situation I would not recommend going to this dealership until the pandemic is over.
I personally apologize that you didn’t feel comfortable today. We do take this very seriously, that is why we are following all of the CDC and state and town guidelines. As soon as the CDC tells us what to do we do it immediately as they are the experts. Only certain managers have access to your stored data in our systems. It wasn’t explained to you properly that the sales rep asks for certain preliminary info so they can bring it to a manager to access your protected personal data. So what you’re saying is that your sales reps won’t bother to pay attention to customer cues regarding mask precautions so long as he and all the various maskless fellow employees walking around are in compliance with government guidelines. That doesn’t seem like a wise way to build customer rapport & trust. It feels more like an “FU, we’re going to do whatever we want” attitude. And your rep told me why he insisted on my drivers license and it wasn’t for the reasons your stating. Whose not telling the truth?
