They lied and stole money from me

These people attempted to steal $2,000 in rebates from me and lied to me about the terms of my contract. Their employees also post so many 5 star Yelp reviews that Yelp had to put a disclaimer on their page and put the fake reviews in their own section. Here are the notes: -They tried to pocket $2,000 in rebates I was due. The service manager told me that not everyone knows about the rebates, so they don't include them in the sales price. -They initially offered me an interest rate of 1.9% (Hyundai's going rate at the time). When I demanded my rebates, they gave them to me, but then they jacked up the interest rate to 3.5% without telling me. This (not so coincidentally) made the monthly payment exactly the same as me not taking the rebates and paying 1.9%. -The sales manager told me that they had to make their money one way or another, so I could either take the rebates and pay a higher interest rate or I could forget about the rebates and pay the lower interest rate. He also said that I could take the higher interest rate and refinance after four months. If I refinanced before four months, I would forfeit all rebates I was given. -I reviewed the sales contract. He pointed out the part about prepayment. There was no language in the contract about a prepayment penalty. The sales manager assured me that I had to keep the loan for a total of four months. -I called Hyundai Motor Finance and they had no idea what I was talking about with regards to a prepayment penalty. They said I did not have to keep it for any period of time, and it was fairly common for people to refinance within days of making their purchase. -Searching through Yelp reviews, I discovered I'm not the only person who they have lied to about needing to keep the contract for four months. -Speaking of Yelp, Hyundai of Gilroy's Yelp page is flagged with a suspicious activity warning. Their employees posted dozens of five star reviews (all on the same date from the same IP address) to get a decent Yelp rating. Yelp saw through this and segregated the suspicious reviews. -They have failed to provide an owner's manual. Despite me requesting one over a dozen times over the course of almost six months, I have yet to receive a manual (except one that was more than two years old) or any kind of estimated timeframe of when I would get one...meaning they're not going to provide it.

Let me start with saying that they tried to justify ripping me off because the WRX is a “rally” car. For a lot that is not a Subaru lot, they sure show they know nothing about a car. No one will go to a dealership for a rally car, let alone ask for a WRX. They will either go for a STI or Subaru’s dedicated rally cars. Either way, all 3 vehicles have completely different motors. Not only that, but they are trying to get me $1,5 less than what my car is WORTH. On top of wanting that $1,5 in a down payment. They do not know how to make a deal whatsoever. And the price of this 2015 WRX with 77k miles is priced the same as my 2019 Corolla with 42k. And being as my boyfriend is a Subaru owner, as well as many of his friends, they all laughed at the fact this dealership knows absolutely nothing about WRX’s. I recommend going somewhere else.

TERRIBLE!!!!

This place is HORRIBLE. I’ve never had so many problems with a car before not to mention a brand new one. Every time I go in for an oil change etc there’s always new problems that this dealership creates it’s absolutely ridiculous. There’s bad communication as well. Do not buy from here or get service done here!!!!!!!
