Cars on the lot
Nov 17, 2021 Disappointed "Poor customer service from Sales Manager Eric...." Poor customer service from Sales Manager Eric. Unfortunately after test driving a used vehicle, I was not interested in purchasing. When I inquired about a new model pricing, he said ‘I could lower the price, but I won’t’. Then said ‘yeah, this deal is not going to work bro’. I guess this is Hiley Acura representation of their brand. Unprofessional and disrespectful.
Bad Trade In Customer Service
I traded in a lease vehicle in 2019 and got another vehicle. The finance company started calling me over a year later to advise the account was past due on the car I traded in. I told them I no longer had the vehicle and it was traded in, they claim they didn’t know because Hiley Acura nor myself didn’t tell them it was traded in. So now they are putting all types of fees and trade in wear and tear on a bill and expecting me to pay it. Anything that was due should’ve been stated at the time of the trade not almost 2 years later. I’ve been calling Hiley for the last 2 years and no one wants to take ownership, they keep advising they will look into it and call me back but nothing ever happens. I’m tired of calling and want this off my credit because I’m not at fault. This issue needs to be handled between Hiley and Acura Financial before I get my lawyer involved.
Ms. Robinson, It was great to meet with you and I'm glad we could get everything worked out to your satisfaction. Management
Nothing but hot air.
Low ball on the trade in, restocking fee ($1500 - that's part of doing business), we left, then hounded for days to come back. No thanks. No time for this kind of place.
The service advisor Z is rude and unprofessional while A was trying to sell some service absolutely unnecessary.....I would not recommend anyone to this dealer....
I bought but wasn't great experience
I had been in contact with Shane or Jay not sure his name for about a week before we traveled to purchase our vehicle once we got there he didn't even attend us he put a rookie in my opinion. The rookie did even walk with is to the vehicle to show it to us or show us the features he didn't explain the buyimg process or the options we had. Once with finance the guy did give us options or even tell us who had given us the loan which company or anything when i tried asking questions I felt I was blown off. They just made me sign sign sign. I don't even know what apr I have on the loan. I had also qualified for no pay for 6 months per the shane when we were messaging before hand but once there the finance guy said he didn't know anything. It was a Saturday i had traveled for 8 hours i was tired at the end of the day i didn't want to argue and get out of there not empty handed so I just went along. Please ask all the wrote questions i don't regret my car but i do regret not asking wrote questions or negotiating. Also car was dirty when we got there they sent it again to get clean before we left but again it was still dirty taking the car to get detailed since it still has sticky residue on leather seat cracks.
Hidden warranty and fees plus forced pictures
At financing I noticed they added a $3500 warranty that never once did they ask if it was something I wanted. I was signing papers when I noticed they added it on there. After finishing the paperwork the salesman wouldn’t give me my keys until I held up his dumb sign and took a picture in front of the car. We literally said 4 time we did not want to be in a picture and he said he would t give us our keys until we did. After all that checked their website that night to see they used my name and picture on a fake 5 star review. Do not shop here. There are plenty of other good dealerships around.
Worst and Rude Sales and Manager Ray and Jason
I contacted this dealership on a lease price for a $55k MDX I saw the reviews and figured they can’t be that rude when they are in the sales business. Well THEY ARE!!!! I spoke to Ray who treated me as a second class citizen and as thought his time is so valuable that he didn’t even have time to talk to me. I then proceeded to talk to Jason who said was the sales Manager Jason and he too was short and rude and without listening to the whole story said to me that there were2 sides to a story. I told him that now I knew where their sales people get their attitudes from. Listen to the reviews these people treated me like junk and do not deserve anyone’s business.
Beware hidden fees and cheap sales tactics
I came in here on a spur-of-the-moment attempt to purchase a used car on 7/3 after I had to walk away from a bad deal just down the road. I live 4 hours west of Fort Worth and didn't want to make the 8 hour round trip fruitless so immediately began searching for alternative cars and found what appeared to be a great alternative at Hiley. The salesman, Jesse, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was great at his job and was the highlight of the visit. He had a critical eye like me and we spotted some things on the car that I could live with, as this was a car with 41k miles on it and not new. A few minor dings, scratches, and a cracked windshield aren't exactly deal breakers for me as I'm realistic when shopping used. When we went inside and finance guys/sales managers got involved is where this went bad. I was initially shown a piece of paper with the price on it, the advertised price, which I was good with and then also 1,495 which I assumed to be the TTL, since that is about what I had computed the TTL to come out to. I thought they just combined it all and C.A.R. was their acronym for it. I had also mentioned numerous times I had my own financing (USAA) but would give them a chance to get under it. While they were presumably running my credit I was told since they didn't have time to touch up any of the little damages we saw, they'd knock 800 bucks off the car's price. I thought xxxx, this is really going well and then a manager came back again with a fresh sheet of paper with figures on it. Now I started getting a bad feeling, as this looked to be the "where do you want your payment to be" back-and-forth crap that cheap salesmen try to use on uninformed buyers. I really wanted the car and liked Jesse and didn't quite want to blow up the deal yet (even though normally I would if this type of tactic was employed) so warned them that I'm a straight forward kind of guy and will cut off my nose to spite my face and wasn't interested in any GAP or warranties. They came back with another sheet of paper and now I see the total and payment are both much lower but still higher than I expected. The C.A.R. acronym was still there but so was TTL. This was then where they explained to me that the acronym stood for "Cost of Average Reconditioning" and it is added to every used vehicle on their lot. So the 800 they took off the "price of the car" was coming out of this, but they did insist on still hitting me with the rest even though clearly at this time of the day with the fact I was about to be driving home there would be no "reconditioning" of any kind. The sales manager could see it was going badly and asked "so you want the advertised price, plus TTL?" and I replied yes, and he went "to the back" yet again. After he walked away I told my wife that I think it is time to go, I don't want to reward their underhanded sales tactic. We did go to their website on her phone and see that at the bottom of every listing they did have in small print "1495 C.A.R. will be added to the price of every used vehicle. I don't want to reward tactics like this so when the next-level up manager came up to us as we were collecting our things I simply told him we were leaving and he said ok and turned around and went back to wherever he came from. As I started my truck I spotted the mid-level manager we had been dealing with the most coming out to us. I rolled my window down to hear what he had to say but it was just more of the same, they were sticking to their guns. He said some of the typical things like "can't believe you'd leave over a small amount like 6 bucks a month" but it was the principle I said. Then he dropped another gem---they never would have accepted my financing! He said due to the coronavirus they could only use their in-house banks. So besides the price that is advertised having fine print, they were not up front about my financing not being welcome either.
Happily satisfied guest!
