Dealership Refuses to Honor their Own Service Rebates
Had what they call 'The Works' performed on my Chevrolet Avalanche. The work included a $10 mail in rebate. So I submitted ALL information according to what they required. They accepted the rebate. Couple weeks later they claim the receipt from the dealership does not match their records. This must happen a lot because when you submit the information they tell you that if there are problems matching records, they require you to drive back down to dealership and get more records costing me more time than I want to devote for $10. I personally think they run out of money and this is their way to delay honoring rebates. I contacted the dealership twice and they refuse to respond. I have 4 vehicles and will take them all to the Chevrolet dealership.

I visited over the weekend and it's Tuesday and I've had 3 phone calls from them. I was hesitant to give my number to begin with. Now wish I hadn't. Had no way of knowing that it would somehow be linked to this app, but I have continually been asked to complete a survey based on my visit.

A BIG mistake buying a used car from Hilbish
Our experience at Hilbish takes me back to that Andy Griffith episode where Barney buys that used car from old Mrs. Lesh and winds up with a lemon. I understand you buy a used car as is BUT when the dealership claims to do this big 170 point inspection or there about especially one that's been around this long you trust they did what they say. In this case, to the contrary. I'm only allowed 4000 characters so I can't tell all. We were told it was serviced and inspected. Serviced maybe but I don't know how it passed inspection when the first day it rained I learned it needed new wiper blades after one fell off. Also if the emissions were checked they would have found the problem that showed up less than a month later. That would have required raising the hood. We have since found a shade tree mechanic that immediately knew the problems and is going to fix it. He put their "professional" mechanics to shame and for significantly less I'm sure. Hilbish refused to help. To top it off, my wife told a guy by the name of Charlie Brown (yes his real name) not to mail the license tag she would pick it up, no problem. Instead Charlie Brown took it upon himself to mail it anyway, today is 3/10 the temporary tag expired 3/8, we still don't have a tag. All he had to do was what was agreed on but we think he doesn't want to face unhappy customers. We have moved and did a change of address with the post office. We have received all our mail even the title to the car but no tag. I'm sure if we had walked in with deep pockets and lots of money, bought a nice new car we wouldn't have had that problem. I have no idea when we'll get our tag. If I have to drive it and I get a citation it's on Charlie Brown. If he reads this I'm sure he's saying to himself "Why's everybody always picking on me?" It will be a cold day in you know where before we buy a new or used car from Hilbish Ford.

Had a wonderfully helpful salesman, Michael Buhler. Micahel went out of his way to help us, even showing us alternatives from what we were originally looking for. BUT-- he was not pushy; he was informative, encouraging, and understanding of what our needs were, our price range, and genuinely concerned . Unfortunately, the vehicle we had came in exclusively to see was being sold upon our arrival- and the alternatives were not exactly what we were looking for.
Great experience on auto purchase!
Purchased '17 Fusion and the process was great. Dennis was very helpful with the process and made sure every part of the deal was complete. Have purchased many vehicles from Hilbish and will continue in the future. Service department was great also setting up connections with car.

I went to Hilbish and they went way over and beyond to get me into something that fit my budget. I have purchased from them several times and each time was smooth sailing.
