The first time I called to inquire about the vehicle I was told they had just took a deposit on it so it was no longer available. A week later I saw it was still listed so I thought perhaps the deal fell threw so I called again. This time I was told the truck had sold 5 minutes ago! Did not appreciate the run around!

I purchased a 1994 Jeep Wrangler with about 100K miles from Highline about 4-5 months ago. I wanted to wait a few months before writing a review incase anything went seriously wrong with the car. I have to say, my experience with them was very good. I live about 2 hours out of state in NY, but Jeep YJ's in good condition and relatively low miles are extremely difficult to find, so I made the trip give it a test drive. Sean and his staff were very helpful with making sure all the paperwork was finalized for purchase over phone and e-mail so I would only have to make the drive back to PA when the car was ready for pick up. When buying any used vehicle anywhere, especially one that is 20+ years old, it's on the buyer to give the car a thorough inspection to the best of their ability and if possible bring a trust worthy mechanic to make an assessment. Being that this dealership is so far from home, I wasn't able to bring my mechanic so I did the best I could on my own and hoped for the best. I'm glad I did. I did make a mistake due to my own excitement and overlooked that the rear did not have the necessary front brackets to secure it. I also did not realize this until after I had already purchased the car.. Sean did the right thing and had the brackets ordered and shipped directly to me at no further expense which was greatly appreciated. When I got the Wrangler home I brought it to 2 separate mechanics who I trust and have worked with for years, and they both said that the car was in great shape and clearly taken care of. I've had no issues with the car what so ever and it is my daily driver. I felt the price was fair given what YJ's in good condition are going for these days and the prices seem to keep going up. My only gripe was that the car was a little dirty inside - again, something I initially overlooked due to excitement. The roll bar covers had a thick layer of dirt and dust on top of them and there was a lot of dirt and some dead stink bugs underneath the removable carpet. Nothing that would have changed my decision to buy, but I would expect a used car to get a minor detailing before going on the lot at any dealership. Overall I had a good experience, I'm very happy with the Wrangler, and I would recommend Highline to anyone looking for cars you may not find elsewhere.

Terrible Communication and Customer Service

TDI was just listed on their website a few days ago. I contacted right before I left to ask if the car was available and noted I had a far drive in my email. They assured me it was. I drive 4 hours to see the car, and then after starting negotiation (pointing out how critical service intervals were missed and paint completely flaked off the whole rocker panel, tint is torn and bubbling, and tires have odd sidewall wear), they tell me there is already a deposit on the car from a buyer. Sounds more to me like they just don't want to sell it to someone who actually looks at the condition of the car. I'm sure the owner will reply and make up a story like it seems like they do for all of the other poor reviews too. Terrible experience. If the car actually had a deposit on it, you should tell people before they make a far drive with the intent to purchase.

You know what they say about used car dealerships, well this one doesn't disappoint. We bought a used Infiniti that we were given the opportunity to drive down the street and back, approximately 4-5 minutes. We were told that because it wasn't inspected that's all the farther we could go. After driving the car we liked it. We asked if we could take it to our mechanic and they told us we could not but they would take it there. The mechanic gave us a report stating it was ok. After purchasing it my wife noticed a light on the dash with a key inside a vehicle. She called me while I was following her to let me know. We hadn't noticed it in our 4-5 minute test drive so we looked it up when we got home. Turns out it is related to a security system that will not let the car start at any moment. We stopped driving it when we got home and called an Infiniti dealer and scheduled an appointment for the following Monday( 10 days after purchasing the car). It turns out that there is an issue with the starter which will cost me $1582 to fix. I called the dealership inquiring about this situation and they told me they knew about the light but chose not to fix it. I told them I didn't dare drive it because of not being sure it would start again. I was told any car might not start after being shut off. Classic answer ??? Anyway, there might be good used car dealerships out there but it's not this one. Steer clear !!!!

This the worth experience I ever went through purchased BMW X3 By far the worth customer service I tried not to take it personal so I purchased the car 2 weeks and the check engine went on as this was not enough from this dealer he did not send the license plate nor the resignation for 4 month blame it on Covid19 when I tried to call them they did not care so I am stock with car has check engine light and no paper so I can not even drive it there answer was when we get it when we get it WOW My advice to any one how want to purchase a car from this dealer think million time before you even got near this dealer

This the worth experience I ever went through purchased BMW X3 by far the worth customer service I tried not to take it personal so I purchased The car 2 weeks and the check engine went on as this was not enough from this dealer they did another send the license plate nor the registration for 4 month and the car sitting in the parking lot with expired temporary plate can not drive it and call them they did not care and blame it on COVID 19 (4 month come on) tried to talk them nice they hang up on me so now no other choice to take legal action against this dealer. My advice to any one how want to purchase a car from this dealer think million time before even got near this dealer

Was looking to purchase a used car and went to this dealer to test drive and eventually put a deposit down on a car. Was not updated on the status of the car as it needed a repair. Finally, nearly a month after the deposit was made, they finally said that they were unable to determine the issue with the car and offered to buy it for less. Extremely unprofessional.

Purchased 2005 Boxster. Buying process was excellent. Auto when seen was impressive. Unfortunately when auto was delivered I noticed something amiss under the left front wheel well. Apparently the auto was damage during dealer delivery or hidden when physically inspected prior to purchase. The delivery individual took pictures informing someone would follow up providing necessary parts or recommendation. Have not heard from Highline Imports. Hoping they will follow up.

Purchased a used bmw from here with only 80k miles. Gave us a test drive and the car ran, looked and sounded beautiful. Ended paying 10 grand for it. 4 days later the car was having issues, come to find out they sold the car with no oil in it!! They deny but had it checked by our mechanic. THEY SELL LEMONS HERE! SAVE YOURSELF THE TEARS, MONEY AND STRESS AND DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HIGHLINE IMPORTS! PLEASE DO NO BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!

NOT TRUE!! 17 year old buyer uses car for pizza delivery and OVER-REVVED ENGINE numerous times, all stored in car's computer. He comes in a few days after purchase and raves about the car, then brings car back with internal engine damage. Engine oil level perfect...if low, BMW dash board will have big red alert on dash. Not the case here, just another young driver who thinks a car can be beaten mercilessly and not break. We are here to help, not be abused.
