I regularly come to service my car at this location. They've remained consistent in the quality of work done. I really like that they accept my coupons from other dealerships. The staff is always very nice and they recently remodeled. Overall this place is good.

Made an appointment with Adriana fory service like always I got my appointment made with special coupon price. Was also able to obtain a second car which I also needed. I set my appointment up with Adriana when arrived I was greeted at the very entrance. I already knew what kind of cars I wanted to look at. We went through the inventory and I did find the car I was looking for. We saw a total of 14 cars till I made my mind up since I wanted to purchase the perfect car fory long commute from home to work. Thankfully I did find the right car here. I went back inside and began paperwork since I already knew what i wanted to pay and I did stay ony budget I was able to get in and out. I acquired their maintenance plan since it's on the way to work and makes getting maintenance regular. For much better fuel efficiency and basic maintenance.

Made an appointment to see a car listed for 25K, when we got there the sales person "Julie" asked for our IDs and to start filling out the credit application. We asked for the total price first and she would not tell us the price until she had our information. Reluctantly we completed the application and we were take for a test drive (Still no final price given). Once we checked the car there were 4 instance of body damage, one of the handles was broken and the fuse panel was on the floor of the passenger side. We asked if these items would be fixed before we take the car and they had the service manager come and check the car. We went back to talking with Julie and she said that it was going to cost them 2K to fix the problems with the car. We agreed to take the car as is. At this point she said the total price would be 32K if we wanted the car. 3k were added for "dealer options" that were not optional. Also the 2k added to fix the issues with the car. We again asked if we could have the car as is for the price listed and agreed to on the phone. She said "NO" I will not lose money on the deal and I have other customers coming to see the car. She then took all the paperwork got up and yelled to her assistance "NO DEAL" and walked away. These was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. Now I'm concern that she kept our application as she was more interest on our SSI and mortgage information than making a deal on the car. Stay away from this place!!!

Just returned from my second visit of HGreg Nissan Puente

1.0
by Skytamer on Aug 29, 2022

Just returned from my second visit of HGreg Nissan Puente Hills. I spent 20 minutes on the lot my first visit, and was never greeted by any sales associate. My second visit, I had a CONFIRMED appointment with Mayerli, who was not present when I arrived.(???). Another sales associate offered to assist me with my interest in a specific used car I was interested in. In my communications with Mayerli via email, I was informed: "we have a 3000 add on over MSRP which is a GPS and a clear shield protection. The GPS is a GPS we install that can locate the vehicle through your phone and can even give you a diagnostic and give you alerts if it leaves a predetermined area. Also the clear shield if protection for the door and handles." (exactly as written) It is my understanding that MSRP means: "MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) is the car’s price as it sits in the showroom — with options, destination charge, and any dealership add-ons." -from AutoTrader So the add on described should be part of the listed price...right? After test driving the vehicle, I was asked to make an offer. I offered $500 below the advertised price (AutoTrader), and the sales associate took my offer to the Sales Manager. The associate returned with a printout of HGreg's offer which included a $3000 markup for the items described above, The associate informed me they install these options on EVERY car as soon as they arrive to the dealership (so I guess they really aren't an "option"), and now the asking price would be $3000 more than the advertised price. I guess if I was able to negotiate a price close to the listed price I would think I was getting a deal. The price listed was not a MSRP, I believed it was a price the seller hoped to receive from the sale of the car. If that's not what you expect, don't ask me to make an offer based on your published listing. I asked the sales associate why I would pay for options I never wanted or asked for. I suggested that there might be something unethical about how they advertise their prices even though they, yes, have a disclaimer on the listing that states: " Price excludes dealer added accessories.....", but I'm curious, since they add those accessories prior to listing the vehicle for sale, why not include them in their pricing? Even less impressive, is they offered no documentation about these options other than the description given in the email. How they arrived at an amount of $3000 for these items is a mystery, and honestly, I found several options online at a much lesser cost (not surprised). Along with this review, I am filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau, and contacting other local consumer protection agencies to better understand this type of confusing pricing. To be clear, I believe HGreg Nissan would present a better listing if it included the $3000 add on in the listed price, or at least in the published details about the vehicle. Forcing me to negotiate price on an "option" that never was an option is not how I do business. I welcome any responses from HGreg Nissan management.

Ms Hernandez, Thank you for responding to my review. You may have noticed, there are several other reviews similar to mine in that they consider the add on of $3000 to the price of EVERY vehicle for GPS and Clear Shield, as a way to use that as leverage in negotiating a price, is wrong and many consider this a poor practice. Since you continue to use this tactic to mislead potential buyers (there is NO mention of this specific add on in the listing on AutoTrader or your own website, and your sales representative Mayerli could not provide a clear disclosure of this add on, as demonstrated in the direct quote I provided in previous posting), I believe this is intentional. I'm still not sure your sales representatives are aware of the correct definition of "MSRP", (MSRP only applies to new vehicles. It does not apply to used cars because the value of a vehicle drops the second it is sold and driven out of a car lot). I don't believe HGreg Nissan was the manufacturer of the Honda CRV I was interested in. In addition, I believe the GPS security system you add on to "Every" vehicle is for your benefit while the vehicle is in your possession, and a neat tactic to try to make the buyer pay for it. I can only believe that any conversation with you would not include your promise to discontinue this practice, especially since you NEVER address it in any of your responses to this and other reviews. It's funny that you don't include this add-on in the lengthy vehicle description, especially when you value it at $3000, yet you include this item: "Odometer is 4864 miles below market average!" which I'm not sure is equal in value. Also, not listed on vehicle window sticker under "Additional Features". Finally, you might be interested to know I purchased a 2016 Honda CRV from a dealer in Orange County that had all the same factory installed features that were included in the vehicle you advertise, at $500 more than the vehicle (advertised) price you are selling, including having 10,000 less miles. The price that dealer advertised was the price we negotiated with. Honest listing, fair deal, sold. So it appears your misleading pricing practice lost you an otherwise simple sale. As I said before, I welcome any responses from HGreg Nissan management, but only if you directly respond to the issues described above. I doubt that you will, since you realize you have failed to create an environment for me to be your customer. Good luck in your future pursuits, Skytamer

Overall bad experience and poor customer service . Very dishonest salesperson they have here , her name is Julie Wang . I wasted my time and gas to get to the location. I live 3 hours away and I made sure to confirm over the phone about negotiation but they will not negotiate in person and basically I feel like I was getting rip off .Will not be going back .

Shady dealership

by Eddy Sun on Aug 15, 2022

They will give you the 5 star service "BEFORE" you sign the contract and will ignore you after the deal is done. I was buying a new Sentra for my daughter at this dealership since they have the car in the lot. During the signing process I was offered the oil change service contract and told it will cost me additional $8.00 ($8.00 X 36 month= $288 for 36 months contract) I agreed to proceed with. When I got home and reviewed the contract, I noticed there is a charge of $820.00 for the service contract. I immediately tried to call the dealer and try to reach my sales person Julie Wang but she was not available so I left a message for her to call me back. After 1 hour I called back again and was transferred to Julie's assistant Kurt since Julie did not respond. I explained the issue with Kurt and asked if I may talk to the finance manager who assisted me to sign the contact. I was told his name is Frank and will transfer me to his extension. The call went to voicemail as soon as the call was connected with a voicemail box full so I can't leave a message. I called back in 30 minutes and had been automatically transferred to a voicemail ever since and no message can be left. My original intention is just to find out why there is a price difference and a way to get it resolved. However, I'm furious that no one is helping me with my issue and as soon as they found out I was contacting them for an issue, my calls just go into the voicemail automatically. I finally gave up calling since it was closed to 9 pm and called again the next morning. A lady answered the call and told me that she'll personally walk over to Frank's office to leave a note to ask him to call me back after I explained to her my issue. An hour passed and no one called me back so I redialed again and the same lady answered the phone and she addressed me with my name. I immediately realized that their phone system is equipped with the caller ID feature and that explains why my calls got transferred to the voicemail every time I call. No one there will answer the call when they realized the the call is regarding to an issue and not sales. After some times Frank called me and gave me a statement about reason of the price difference which was not mentioned during signing. I just wanted to end this drama and asked him what I should do to cancel the service contract. He told me that there is nothing he can do at this time and I need to bring in the first bill when it's received to the office in order to get the contract cancelled. This does not sound right! Why do I have to wait for a month before I can cancel the service? By that time, I wonder if I will be obligated for one month of service, so I call the Nissan head office today and were direct to the company who provided the service contract "Security Plus". I were told that they have not received my contract yet probably the dealer hasn't submit it yet. I asked does it require me to wait for a month before the contract can be cancelled they answered "absolutely not" and I should be able to have it cancel as soon as I made the request to the finance manager. I tried to call the dealer back several times today and guess what I get? voicemails with no option to leave a message. If you read this review, please be cautious. The sale team will give a 100% attention but quickly turned to 0% after the deal is done. The finance department will trick you to sign the contact without telling you the full detail. Ensure to go through every page that needs to be sign. Once you leave the dealership, you're totally on your own.
