Good and immediate service.
Good and immediate service. Even assisted in arranging for shipment of the car to Southern California.
Great sales team, lousy quality contr on vehicles.
I will say manager and salesman were absolutely amazing. But, full size spare tire missing , heater core had to be flushed twice because there was no heat and what seemed like 9 bottles of stop leak were dumped into the cooling system , heater still doesn't work. Defroster cable on rear window snapped off as it had been glued back on sloppily, windshield sprayer on passenger side didn't work. Within a week white smoke started pouring out of the tailpipe, obvious head gasket failure. Now I'm going to have to put another $1,000 into it for front-end work as the CV joints are bad among other issues, new tires but rear tires were not balanced there were no weights on them. There was no inspection done on this car obviously or, Shady things were done to get it out the door. Within a few days I already had problems. And two payments into a $13,000 loan I'm already in this car for close to $3,000, with more to come. No thanks won't ever do again. I was not and am not in a place in my life where I can afford endless car repairs. Lesson learned. Car looked great for used ran well for about a,week, then issues. In the end of the deal was labeled it as is, I get that but seriously.
Money Pit Car/Shady Business
Shady, Shady, SHADY!! Well I was in the market to buy a Tundra for work so I went to Hayes. They were all seemingly friendly people at Hayes Auto Sales at first. They hooked me up with a Tundra really fast even with no credit history. I loved the truck until I got under the hood. There was multiple problems I faced, the first being that all 8 spark plugs needed replacement because of a small misfire. Then the front rotors brake pads, rear drums and shoes were also bad along with it needing an alignment. I wasn't upset about this because I've done mechanical work from a young age. But where I got pissed was when I noticed their "mechanic" put the WRONG coolant in the radiator and it caused the bottom of the water pump to leak! After flushing the incorrect coolant, I saw there was a leak in the transmission and a bolt missing. So I immediately contacted Hayes Auto Sales, mind you this is 4 days after I bought the truck. The owner drove the truck around and had his mechanic look at it and they said there was nothing wrong with it. They gaslighted me and said it was all in my head. They scoffed me off and sent me on my way. Unfortunately I didn't pay for a warranty so I was stuck with the truck and there was nothing I could do. After I took it into two different shops were mechanics saw the same things I was seeing. So now I have to get the transmission fixed which is costing me an arm and a leg. This was a $15,000 truck so it's very upsetting the treatment I received. Not a very upfront, trustworthy business, they don't honor their customers in the slightest. I will not be recommending this business to anyone. These people are just trying to make the most profit they can, oh and their sales men even told me this!! I now see why sales men have bad reps. Zero integrity.
horrible!!!
I brought a car from this place only last year in November and the cars a total xxx this company is horrible and I would not suggest anyone do business with them.
Terrible Service and Prices
Went in to look at a truck I saw on cars.com. It was extremely overpriced and the service staff could care less about selling anything. Only a matter of time before they are out of business with a staff like that.
Bring your mechanic with you!
I drove all the way to Roseville to look at a car I saw online. Boy, Hayes has a lot of used car lots in one location — about everything on that side of the freeway at that exit. Let the buyer beware! The car I bought needed repairs that eventually totaled an amount close to what I paid for the car. I was too trusting, and that used car was a hunk of junk. Never again for this dealer!
It's an OK dealer
We bought a vehicle there that had an issue when we were test driving it. The right turn signal bulb was not securely connected, so the alarm kept going off every time we used the right turn signal. It worried me that they would even let someone test drive a car that wasn't safe. We did buy the vehicle, but paid more than it was worth. The wiring harness for the fog lights had been cut, which they should have replaced before attempting to sell the vehicle. Still, the car lasted us for about 50,000 miles with no other issues. I probably won't buy there again myself, but would recommend to someone if they needed a car bad.
Review
Their prices are WAY too high. Some vehicles have 140000 miles and still asking for prices you find for the same vehicle with much less miles. Very bad reviews. Bill
It's not a joke
We purchased a truck a few months back. Was "able" to talk them down a whopping $50. Was told, we have 5 lots and own all of the cars. Ok great I just want one and would like it if you didn't flaunt your wealth in front of me while I am trying to save a buck. But hey at least the truck is nice enough...except for the dings and scratches and incessant chime that won't turn off and the license plate that won't stay on, and and and. So today I call about another vehicle they have on their lot. The first person to answer the phone asked for the stock number which I gave her. She found it and said she was sending me to the sales person that would be able to help me with the car. The salesman that answered the phone Rob or Ron I am not sure. Asked him how he was doing and he made some political joke that only he understood, because I couldn't understand what he was saying through the mask. I did understand that he was laughing so... Anyway I give him the stock number so he could look up the vehicle and he confirmed which one I was looking at. Then before we went any further he wanted a lot of personal contact information. I just wanted to verify some information about the vehicle. He said the contact information was necessary because they have 5 lots and 400 cars and that he is the only one that goes out to cars to verify info. But the first lady sent me to you specifically because you were the one that would know this car. So you want my information so you can bombard me with phone calls and emails later. No thank you. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Don't waste your time!
Went to buy a truck, they were constantly pressuring us to buy by telling us how many people had interest in the truck, but the stories on who they were kept changing. We wanted to take the truck to a mechanic to get it looked at, and they kept stressing how other people were making offers on the truck and they were waiting on us to decide, and we felt like they were almost forcing us to buy the truck. They even said one other person had already inspected it, but then "changed her mind on the price". When we finally took it to a shop, they found that the car had been in an unreported accident and had been painted over to make it look undamaged. Similar story with the suspension, which had been worn down and beaten up then painted to look new. Clearly, the other lady did not change her mind on the price, but instead on the fact that the truck was not as clean and nice as they portrayed it. They must have known about the accident, yet still tried to sell us the truck like it had never had any issues. Very shady dealer, I would not recommend buying here.
