Rushed and cheated

So my wife and I, looking to finally buy a truck 3 months ago, located a 2016 Tucson here online and after doing some research, decided to come here to check it out. We liked the truck and decided to move forward with it. Well the salesman we started off with transferred us to another salesman who were discovered to be new. Additionally, I guess we came there within 2 hours of closing so needlessly, we were rushed thru the entire process. The extended warranty which is most important to me was never explained to us and most of the paperwork was rushed. I was thoroughly not pleased with my service and is now dealing with the consequences of it. Don't waste your time coming here.

Absolute Worst Car Buying Experience

Have bought many cars at Gregory. I am there because of Fernando in Sales and the Service Department. Fernando cares for the customer and his/her satisfaction. He is a true gentleman . He listens and hears our voice. I buy with him and because of him. Service Dept is the tops of the tops

My wife and I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe right before Christmas 2018. Hyundai cars are great in my book, so the real hurdle was finding the right dealer. We went to Gregory Hyundai because they had the model and color we preferred. Steve, our salesman was polite and cordial (but as we all know the salesmen don’t make the important decisions). So here are the Manufacturer offers (that I was expecting to get) listed are $2500 cash back, Down payment match offer: $500 cash back, College Grad offer: $400 cash back, $50 reward card for test driving a new Hyundai, and 0% financing for 36 months. Here is what I did NOT get: • Manufacturer offer of $2500 cash back. Reason: It was $2500 cash back OR 0% financing for 36 months. Not AND. Did not see that on the fine print. • Down payment match offer: $500 cash back. You had to open some type of account one month in advanced to qualify. Did not see that on the fine print. • College Grad offer: $400 cash back. Had all the proper paperwork. No reason was given why I was not eligible for this incentive. • $50 reward card for test driving a new Hyundai. Our salesman Steve stated the dealer does not participate in the program. Here is what I got: 0% financing for 36 months. I also got a decent price for my trade-in. One person, Tony, took care of the financing the day we were there. Tony seemed very disconnected from the customers. He kept forgetting our names or calling us by the wrong names. It seems like all he cared about was having our signatures in his paperwork. He also was selling some additional service packages. When I didn’t show any interest in any of them, he seem to show some anger and didn’t understand why I was not interested. There seemed to be some strong-arm techniques because he ultimately sold us a package we didn’t want with his double talk and his “disappointment” with us. We finally finish the paper work and Steve showed us to our car after being there all afternoon. In our excitement to get our car and go home, we inspected it and found no visible damages. When we got home we notice a ding in the rear bumper. We showed it to Steve the next business day. We got a call from Barry telling us they couldn’t do anything for us. It seems like Barry was basically calling us liars. Very unfortunate for us. Lesson learned: take your phones out to take a video of the car before leaving the dealer. Overall we love the car, but the dealer is not much to be desired. In our opinion, you can find a better dealer elsewhere.

Fernando is an excellent salesperson and very knowledgeable . Ask for him if you are buying a new car. The buying process was not as easy. Check your pricing carefully before and after purchase.

Lemon sold

This dealership KNOWINGLY sold my husband a lemon and now will not buy it back for the price which he is asking for. He's contacted them via the phone as well as has personally gone to the dealership. During his first conversation with one of the salesmen, he was told that he should just sell the car to someone else to which he replied "why would I do to someone else what you guys did to me". All we want is for them to pay off the remaining balance of the car so that we don't have to spend anymore on repairs.

Upon visiting this dealership to view a used automobile we were interested in, we told the sales manager we needed to discuss the possibility to purchase. We called back to express our interest to buy the used car, but the sales manager said unless we were in their office within 2-hours they would not hold the car for us. I offered to place a substantial deposit $4,000 with my credit card, and they refused to accept the deal. I called back later to see if we can make our way to this dealership, and they told us the car was sold. I never experienced such a high level of incompetence at car dealership prior to this, and would not recommend them to anybody!

Rude Manager!!

I went to test drive (read it as buy) 2017 SE Ultimate CPO at Gregory Hyundai on Friday, August 10 as I was searching that model for a while and it arrived at Gregory's. I made the appointment and scheduled a test drive. Someone later called and said it is not yet arrived, but then called again to notify that it has arrived. My wife and I were greeted by Matthew and he took us on the test drive. He seemed very friendly and assisting and I was okay with the drive. Overlooking a few scratches, nicks and dings, and also uncleaned interior, I offered my price. Matthew said he will ask his manager and see what they can do. A minute later, Maria, the manager arrived at the desk, sat down and without introducing herself, said "Hi, I really cannot do anything at the price you are asking. OK?". I said "Hmm??". She looked at us, got up and left. No introduction. No bye. No thank you. Nothing!!! My wife and I, still seated, looked at each other in "WOW", got up and walked out of the dealership slightly shocked. We were laughing and angry at the treatment we received. Matthew came a minute later thanking us for visiting. I clearly told him that I came to buy the car but your manager didn't want to sell it and was pathetically rude. He apologized on her behalf. I asked that manager's name and we left shortly. FUN PART: We bought a better deal at McGrath the next day, yes on Saturday! Better looking car and certified, on top of that, amazing sales person there who negotiated fairly. All in all, Gregory Hyundai failed in selling the car. McGrath = 1. Gregory = 0. Worst part, they pumped up the price by $550 that same evening (it is down $100 as of now :) ) Suggestions for Gregory Hyundai Leadership: 1. Please treat customers right. Without them, you will go bankrupt. 2. Please train your managers (especially Maria) about point#1. Teach them how to negotiate and be polite to customers.
