Stranger in town with engine light on in my truck

Came from out of town on Sunday and my engine light came on. No one was open on that day. I looked @ google for a GMC dealer or Chev dealer close to where I was. On Monday I called and gave a description of my trucks problem and that I was from out of town. Spoke with Doug who said they could evaluate but needed the truck all day. He arranged a ride to and from the dealership. Called me prior to beginning work on the truck and described the problem and what needed to be repaired as well as the cost. They did have the truck finished before 3 pm and I was able to make plans for the rest of my trip. The truck has been running fine since. Very appreciative of the work that was done and that they were able to get the truck in on the day I came w/o an appointment.

2019 Chevy Colarado, Will the Main Mgr Read Please

The email correspondence started out great and all was good. Came in on Saturday at 8am 6-04-22 with a Chevy Colorado 2019 with the normal transmission sluggish shifting issue that if I don't come to a complete stop and take off it jerks which I had reported back in 2019 as well at this location and you guys did a test and verified it and said its GM's Problem not ours and they wont do anything right now and I came in because it was getting worse in 2022. Since then a Nation out Cry has brought upon a Class Action Lawsuit by many for this issue if not worse in the trucks transmission torque converter caused by tranny fluid used possibly. So after getting breakfast, which was the best experience and treated with honesty from the cook and respect, was great, (He deserves a raise )and it took about two hours as we enjoyed the great breakfast they come and told me they didn't have the main Tech there but some guy with no title mentioned drove it (that makes me nervous) and said it was fine and said its a cost of over 300.00 to do the fluid change. I said quote," I would of not brought it in if there wasn't an issue and I want a pro not just a regular guy and the Guy said, "Then we can have you keep it here till Monday till the actual Tech that test these things can give it a real test drive and I said ok. I did ask if i could have a loaner car because one wasn't offered which I thought was strange. He said yes and then I asked, " Am i going to get charged for this?"and He said, "No", so i signed the paper for the loaner and left. I get an email Monday saying they did replace the Trans fluid for no charge because of issue after the test drive and they did a complete inspection and are saying now the fuel line is in fair condition but wanted to charge over 300.00 which was close to the the cost of the trans fluid ironically installed and saying it needed to be done and I declined because at this point after purchasing the Gold Plan when I bought the Truck that this Dealer Ship is not being honest or respectful and on the up and up and I don trust people like that like most wouldn't either and also they said there was a charge for the loaner car as well and there was a charge of 32 dollars to rotate tires but with the loaner it would be over 84.00 and said Saturday there was no charge for the loaner,so its a given and obvious the Dealership is trying to make money during hard times with what ever they can and I wasn't a Happy Camper and I said no to that as well on the over 300.00 for the fuel line issue. I was also told by a Pro Mechanic i Know the dealer ship may say some thing about the fuel line causing the jerk issue so they can get money out of you and not be responsible for the transmission and sure enough that was added to the list on Monday sent to me in the AM. The reason i came to all of this conclusion is what all explained up above and also the guy said right when I began to leave that if there is an issue in the next two years bring it in but when the 100,00 mile or 5 year warranty I purchased runs out that GM wont back it most likely and had a light grin which i don't find amusing at all after I said I will be Sol. That's when the grin on his face happened. So ask your self would you trust this Dealer ship? Who every actually reads this or it gets destroyed because I am simply real and honest.

The personnel were friendly and helpful, especially Brittani(spelling may be wrong). The bill was very confusing to me as I don’t know all the terms and really nothing about the workings of the car so possibly customer friendly words would help-it also was very expensive for an oil change

Broke down on a Saturday morning and expected the worst. Mark handled my service experience from start to finish with not 1 problem. Scheduled the towing and everything. Kept me in the loop the entire time, and my truck was finished sooner than promised. Best service experience ever.

I scheduled an appt for 8:15. I arrived at 8:05. I am still waiting for an oil change and tire rotation to be completed. When I inquired at 9:30 I was informed it would be approx 15 more mins. Still requires oil to be added and inspection complete then paperwork. I asked about the tire rotation. The service rep had to go back to check on that. 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment? By the way, first service appt for this vehicle with this dealership. When my 1 hour ETA wait time passed, no one provided a status update. I had to seek out the update.
