Didn't get what was promised
Overall the interaction with this company sucks. From the sales person to the manager; who was loud and belligerent, and tried to talk over you.
THE WORST DEALERSHIP IN THE WORLD
DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I came in to trade my current vehicle for a particular truck. They ran my credit, got my mileage, payoff amount, etc and said I’ll need someone to co-sign that have a little more income. A day later the manager Tyler called me and told me that I can try for the down payment assistance program, I agreed but two days went by and I didn’t hear anything from them. I then contacted Chris and he told me that I didn’t get approved for the assistance. I asked Chris if we can go back to using my dad as a co-signer and a down payment. Chris told me that his GENERAL MANAGER said he can make it happen and to come in that same day. Well my dad and I get there, the run his credit and everything else. The salesman, I don’t know his name but he was horrible too, comes back and tell us that they were able to approve me if I financed the vehicle by itself and without my trade in. At that point my dad was frustrated and we left. A day later I called to see why would they mislead me into thinking they would be able to get the deal done. They told me they would give me a call back because the managers are “in a meeting.” I’ve been waiting for the managers to get out of that meeting for FOUR DAYS now.
Shady general manager
Went there on October 25th to look at 2020 Nissan Sentra SR. Greeted by Antwan and we started discussing the car I was interested in. Gave me an OTD price that was terribly high. Showed him the price on the website and he told me that wasn’t a true price. So I just left. Got home and about 15 minutes later Antwan text me a new offer sheet. We discuss it and I agree to it. Go back and sign the offer sheet. They run my credit and say they have me approved. So they stall around for about 1.5 hours and then Antwan comes back and tells me they are going to put the temp tag on the car and to take it and come back tomorrow to sign the paperwork. So I go back on Tuesday to sign the papers. And sometime between Sunday and Tuesday the general manager decided to change the price to 6,000 dollars more than I agreed to on Sunday. I didn’t realize it until after I left and looked at the paperwork. Called them out on it and they told me that they couldn’t sell it to me at the agreed price because they were loosing money. Needless to say they got the car back. If you aren’t going to honor a price then don’t offer it to the customer. A very unethical general manager.
Can you give zero stars? Literally the shadiest,...
Can you give zero stars? Literally the shadiest, unethical dealership I have ever dealt with. We were looking for a late model used Infiniti QX60 & had looked at several dealerships over a few weeks. On a Wednesday afternoon, we drove the hour to Jacksonville to look at 2 dealerships. The first was a no, so headed to Greenway Nissan of Jacksonville. As we pulled in, a young salesman named Antwan helped us. We told him we came to look at the QX60 advertised online. He seated us inside & went to get the car. After about 30 minutes, he finally returned & let us know the vehicle was in the (closed) Service Department getting its 162 point presale inspection. However, he said that we could go into the bay and look at the vehicle. We weren’t able to do a test drive, but we were able to check the exterior and interior condition. The vehicle appeared well taken care of and clean. The only issue we had was the vehicle had 2 cheap looking Milestar tires on the front, a Cooper tire on the drivers rear, and a Bridgestone on the passenger rear. The mismatched tires didn’t look good, especially being on an Infiniti. We went inside and told the salesman we were interested in the vehicle, pending we come back the next evening & take it for a test drive. We began negotiating with a pending test drive being a key factor. We hit a stalemate in the negotiations, $1000 apart. We finally said we would agree to the dealer’s price if they’d replace the tires with a matching set OR we’d meet their price halfway ($500) apart, and we would take it with the crazy set of mismatched tires. They agreed to meeting the price halfway & tires as is. The deal was set, pending the test drive the following day. They said we had to put down $500 to hold the deal & the car, so it wouldn’t be sold before we could make it back in the following night. We left with Antwan’s promise to be in touch with us all throughout the day. The next day, we didn’t hear anything all morning long. At about 1:30-2:00pm, we get 3 texts from Antwan. The 1st is a picture of a Service Bill for ~$1100 to cover the price of the 162 point presale inspection- this included: oil change, coolant drain & fill, battery terminals cleaned, tire rotation, wiper blades, & a deodorizer. ~$667 of this was “labor”. Seriously?!? An oil change for the vehicle is about $60, a drain & fill around $100-120, 5 minutes to clean battery terminals, 15 minutes to rotate mismatched tires, around $40 for wiper blades that Autozone would change for free, and a $6.99 pop top deodorizer that takes 15 minutes of waiting. AND CHARGED ME FOR IT! My name & info on the bill & haven’t even test drove the car. Not only that, the 2nd text was a picture of a revised Sales Agreement where they rolled that $1100 into the deal, so I’d have to finance all that BS for 4-5 years! The 3rd was a text explaining the cost of the service was added to the deal and the new bottom line. I called and said we had agreed on a deal, & I’d be more than happy to come down, test drive the car, and complete THAT deal. I was NOT paying for an inspection that they were already performing on a car I did not own nor request service on. I was informed that the Sales Manager insisted adding the “service bill” and that he would not remove that charge. I told him to refund my $500 then, but they said that they had to have card in hand to swipe. We had to drive an hour back to their location to get our deposit back because they wanted us to pay an overinflated service bill that (as they stated) had to legally do to sell the car. The Sales Manager, Jorge Chavez, didn’t even have the courage or testicular fortitude to speak with us or come out of the office when we got there. He just sat there turning every which ackward way he could to not make eye contact. This tactic to try to swindle more money after a deal was agreed upon & lack of professional decency to even face us told me all I need to know about Greenway Nissan of Jacksonville and their Sales Manager...we wouldn’t buy a bottle of water from them if we were parched in the Sahara. In the end, it worked out for us though. We found a better QX60 for a better deal on VROOM that has been delivered WITH matching tires. Avoid this dealership at all costs- go check out the online dealers instead.
Unprofessional
We have owned Nissan’s for over 30 years. My wife and I have never been treated so unprofessionally. This was our first visit to Greenway Nissan of Jacksonville and last. Ours was a cash buy and my first clue is they would not let me pay with my authorized amounts on credit for the points/ rewards. All they allowed was 5K. Said it too expensive on fees for them?? To make matters worse they didn’t deduct it off what I thought was the cash price of 50K. Instead they combined it with the rebate of 5K for a “delivered” sale price of 60K!!! I never saw this till I got home and printed out the agreement. Bad on us for not taking the time to have the paperwork printed out and us to go line by line. What was deceitful to us was the lack of transparency and the tactics of Nicole and Jorge acting like we were getting a steal of a deal. The new car director was condescending and rude to my wife. He played the “what’s in the contract” routine, knowing full well what it was. We even were trading in our 2008 Nissan Titan. Calls are not returned either. Very disappointed.
Richard A Phelps, we truly appreciate your honest feedback. We hope you are willing to give us another chance. Please reach out to us at (904) 270-9951 so we can work towards a resolution.
Horrible Customer Service
Don't buy from this dealership. They do not have good customer service. They sold me a damaged car and we made a deal to have the windows tinted. Had to have them done a second time because the first tint job was a joke. I reached out to corp since I need more support to get this handled. Or course they tell you it handled at the local level. Today they tried to tell me they lost money on my deal and lost money having to tint the window 2x, like that's my fault. They also told me they were glad they never got my new customer survey because i clearly can't be made happy, yet they weren't willing to work with me. They talk down you and don't try to be honorable people. Please save yourself the hassle and don't buy from here. There are other dealerships in the area that are MUCH better and supportive than this one.
We would like to have a better understanding about your experience. Please reach out to us at (904) 270-9951 at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to resolve this with you.
Avoid this Dealership
8/3/2020 I went to the Greenway Nissan dealership today to look and possibly purchase a used Nissan Titan. I had several texts back and forth with Drew from the dealership and made an appt to look at and drive the vehicle. When I arrived with my friend, I asked for Drew. He was very curt with us, which I overlooked. I had researched the vehicle extensively, however, he did not know much about the vehicle, why the tailgate would not open, how to operate the bed cover, etc. After a very short test drive (he suggested just driving in the parking lot), we came back to the office. His attitude continued to decline as I sat and discussed this purchase with my friend. We went to his cubicle and he told me the price increased $1k from the quoted price. I used to work as an accountant for a dealership so I reached out to the owner of that dealership about the price, the prep fee and to get some general advice and opinions. Drew grew increasing impatient and then stood up and told me to leave that he did not want to work with me. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone, let alone a sales representative from a dealership. So, buyer beware, there was absolutely no reason for his attitude. Is this what you call customer service? It is not like they were busy, I believe there were two customers in there including me and many salesmen just standing around. Pretty sad in my opinion.
Donna, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. We hope you are willing to give us another chance. Please reach out to us at (904) 270-9951 so we can work towards a resolution.
Not fulfilling contract
I bought car in February and Manager who I spoke to at great length agreed for 3 oil changes and tire rotation. I have witnesses to this and also he wrote it down. They would not honor this agreement so will never buy another Nissan or recommend any to do so

Worst experience ever!!!
Purchased a 2016 Nissan Altima. Tha transmission was bad after about 33 days. I was let to believe they would swap me out with a 2020 Sentra. They did some under handed stuff and now I have 2 car loans that I can’t pay for With 2 different finance companies. I went in with good credit and now my credit is ruined. I brought the Nissan Altima on 06/13/2020 and a little over a month. I have 2 different car loans. I am so disappointed in this company. I will never do business her again. Some the people are liars!!!

VERY BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE and the manager there think that customer is stupid and doesn't know anything and also tries to over-smart you. PLEASE NEVER BUY FROM THIS DEALER.
