Service Department is a JOKE!

The "Service" Department is a nightmare. The earliest appointment was over a month out which is understandable to some degree because of supply chain issues, etc., but on the morning of the appt. and while I was driving to Gill, the service "manager" Mike Dusan called to ask me if I could drop off my vehicle at a later date becuase they are short 6/10 mechanics. They initially told me that it would be within 24 hrs to diagnose the problem of vehicle. after calling every other day to find out the status, they told me that it would probably be tomorrow and this went on for a week. They never returned my calls and could never provide a straight answer. They are completely lost and it showed on all fronts. Finally they said that I could pick up my vehicle if I wanted, so I did, It was never looked at and upon picking up my vehicle Mike didnt even acknowledge me. No appology, remorse or anything for completely inconveniencing my life for a week. I will have my vehicle repaired at another dealership and then trade it in for a $75,000 brand new 2023 model. They not only lost my business to future sales but trust that word of mouth is very powerful and I will be extremely vocal about my horrible experiance for years to come. Take my advice and run from their circus of unprofessionalism, ineptness, lies and deception. Gill is a bunch of amatures at business but professional crooks. Run!

I didn't expect to be driving off the lot when my friends first brought me to it, but I was massively surprised and elated. Jim Hamby couldn't have been more engaging and more friendly and warm as he talked me through the process of buying my first car, and he fought hard for me to be able to get it. I am immensely grateful to him and the Gill Auto Group. You won't find a better place in town to get your car from.

Jim is a nice guy, treated my friend and I with respect despite us being atypical car shoppers. He was able to match the rate I got from a Credit Union I have been with for 10 years. Explained everything in clear language and seems quite honest.

Very overpriced service on Ram 1500 truck. Cost $260.00. New air filter $99.15 ($49.50 labor, cabin filter $86.30 ($49.50 labor). Takes me <10 minutes to remove and replace air filter. Synthetic oil and tire rotation was reasonable. The independent place I normally go to charges around $110.00 for same service. Ridiculous, $50 labor to change air filter, etc!! I will not return.

I have called at least 7 times (no joke) left 2 messages, in a period of a week and a half. Till this day I’m still waiting for someone to return my call or answer the phone. I have never left a bad review before but it’s frustrating that when you have a need of an update... in customer service for repairs, no one seems to care.

I’ve been a local going to the Cadillac service department for most repairs on my vehicle. Since the departure of the previous service manager I’ve seen the department decline with customer engagement and service. Twice my wife were not able to get through to anyone to get an update on our vehicle parts and twice I drive down to the service department only to find two people sitting at the front desk.... then why are my calls not being returned and answered I ask? Let me guess? COVID-19??? I’m using another dealership for my needs going forward.
