$23 for a quote!!!!!!

Earlier this year we purchased a torrent. We were assured it had had a full inspection and that is was ready to go. Shortly after we bought it we had to take it to have the brakes fixed. The mechanic...which was another Chevrolet dealer told us that something major had to have happened for the brakes to be melted together and he wasn't sure how it could have been missed. That was a $2000 job. We then had the head lights go, air conditioner, fuel pump,battery and front wheel bearing. After speaking to the salesman about issues we were told any repairs for the next year would be given at cost...parts and labor. We took it in today for an oil change and to have the same bearing checked out again because it still shakes and it has only been a few months since they fixed it...were charged $23 for a quote!!!!! Just a quote when they were already looking at it for the oil change. I have never been charged for a quote. We also found out we will now only get parts at cost. This has been a horrible experience from Flannery that just keeps on getting worse. Wish we would never have bought a car from them. They will screw you whenever they can and service department are extremely ride.

Hi Sara, Sorry to hear about your troubles with the vehicle. All of our vehicles do go through an inspection prior to being sold. Looking at your vehicles record in our system we did recondition the vehicle based on the inspection made. We spent over $1000 dollars in preparing your 2006 Torrent for our lot. We replaced ball joints that needed to be replaced, took care of a fuel tank pressuring sensor, repaired and installed a temperature module that was broken, along with repairs to the evap system. If you would like to come and take a copy of the record we would be more then willing to give you a copy. Unfortantley, our 12-year-old vehicles are sold with limited warranty given the nature of a 12-year-old vehicle they will need standard repair and maintenance in the years to come. We did not hear of any initial complaints until 6 months later when your warranty was up. Every vehicle that is sold, the warranty is discussed at the time of sale. When making the purchase this is something buyers should figure into their cost to own. Driving the vehicle for a year, depending how it is driven, you may have to replace suspension and brakes. During our inspection they were not found to be an issue at the time of sale. If you are looking for a used vehicle with bumper to bumper warranty we have those to offer too. In your case, you were out of our original warranty. So we deiced because of your troubles we would put on an additional limited warranty when you contacted us the first time. We like to take care of our customers if we can, but have to be reasonable at the same time. We are willing to honor your current warranty but when our mechanics have to take apart and inspect a vehicle, depending how labor intensive, sometimes there are charges whether you move forward with the repair or not. My salesman Randy is always on the mark when getting me the best deal! very professional and I highly recommend him to my friends and co-workers! the body shop has got a little more of my business than i'd like, but they always do the best work and i'm completely satisfied with what they do! Service department is great as well as the rest of the employees and staff! Great Job Flannery Auto Mall. And I really like the used car remodel!!

Worst service ever

The communication, friendliness, and knowledge of the service department are non existant. The service manager Jim is one of the rudest people I have had the pleasure to deal with. I had to call GM and open a complaint against them just to get the car fixed! Nothing but the run around for 2 1/2 weeks on a warranty repair. Absolutely absurd!
