Cars on the lot
Just got off the phone with Mike about purchasing a used car, when I asked about any work that’s been done to the car since they’ve taken it in he said that he doesn’t have that information and can’t give it out. He explained they don’t have a service department and outsource, but the fact that they wouldn’t tell me what they paid another shop to do is incredibly sketchy. I’ll purchase elsewhere.

Welcome surprise and lovely experience
Our first time buying a used car so were a little skeptical to not purchase thru a regular dealer. We looked for months online for something in our price range with low miles. After scrolling thru many pages and sites we came across Elegant Auto Sales on cars.com and went to their offices. Tho we weren’t originally looking for a BMW we were surprised to find one that fit our needs and had one in mind by the time we arrived. Before inking the deal I asked Shawn if he recommended we see any other cars and tho he was busy / could have let us walk w what we intended he did want to make sure we got the best they had and showed us a different model. After a second test drive we were sold and are so happy he was honest with us, highly recommend Elegant and Shawn specifically.
Great selection of quality used Mercedes
I purchased my 2010 Mercedes c300 from them Saturday. They were pleasant to work with and would recommend to all my friends. They let me test drive any car and didn’t rush me into buying.

I went in needing a decent vehicle.. my credit is not the best due to a bad divorce. I worked with Will and George and have to say the customer service has been hands down extraordinary. George has gone out of his way to ensure my financial history was taken into consideration when talking with the lenders. I will recommend this group of gentleman and be back to buy further vehicles. I'm new to the oregon market and dont know a lot of people and was worried about someone selling me a car that would just breakdown right after I bought it. I didn't feel at all that this was the case working with Will and George and their team. Thank you guys for all the help
Horrible Manager and Customer Service
Stay as Far away from this auto place. Spend your money somewhere else, that actually value your hard work. A Fraudulent business, dont know how they're still in business.
Beware of Elegant Auto Sales!!!!
On March 20th 2018 I purchased a 2014 ML 550 VIN# from Elegant Auto Sales located at 1940 ZINFANDEL DR # I, RANCHO CORDOVA, CA 95670. Not long after purchasing this vehicle I began to experience engine problems. On 10/02/19 I brought the vehicle to Mercedes Benz of Stockton to have it tested. After testing, I was informed that the vehicle needed roughly $13k in engine repairs due to lack of compression in cylinder #5, please see attached documentation from Mercedes Benz of Stockton. Elegant Auto Sales is liable for the following violations: 1. Elegant Auto Sales sold a vehicle without fulfilling its responsibility to complete a proper safety check of the car prior to selling the vehicle. This engine problem causes the car to stall and die while in traffic which is a safety hazard. 2. Elegant Auto Sales listed this car in "good condition" which is a false statement. This vehicle was in very poor shape before Elegant Auto Sales took possession of the vehicle, while Elegant Auto Sales maintained possession of the vehicle and as Elegant Auto Sales sold the vehicle. These facts are supported by dated vehicle testing records and dealership repair estimates. 3. Charging $500.00 for a window tint fee (this was revealed to me after negotiating the purchase price down $500.00 from the sticker price.) Normally used car sales are "as-is", however a contract can be voided when false statements about a vehicle's condition are made both verbally and in advertisements. I have retained a copy of the advertisement posted to Offer Up which states the vehicles condition as "good". I have obtained proof that this engine condition was diagnosed and was known almost immediately before possession of the vehicle was transferred to Elegant Auto Sales. On December 26th 2018, the previous owner brought this vehicle into Mercedes Benz of El Dorado Hills (as noted on the Carfax report) for testing and the vehicle was diagnosed with the same engine issues, lack of compression in cylinder #5. Almost immediately after this test, the ownership transferred to Elegant Auto Sales and the vehicle was posted for sale. The true condition of this vehicle, as stated in the advertisement, was an illegal misrepresentation of fact caused by deliberate and dishonest actions on behalf of Elegant Auto Sales and Elegant Auto Sales' negligence in adhering to the required resale safety inspection requirements. Please check the BBB Better Business Bureau and do your research on this dealership, the staff and the ownership before you consider buying from this lot!!! SCAM STAY AWAY DMV WARNED ME
Share review Embed review Write an update Edit review 12/12/2019 I would give less stars but I cant. These are the BIGGEST scam artist out there. I sent them into DMV investigations after my ordeal. First they were so unprofessional finishing the paperwork but I dealt with it. Then had to wait for them to order and pick up pizza before finishing my paper work. whatever still dealing with this. We leave thinking all was good. Financed, gave the deposit and signed the paperwork. Just to find out that my loan paperwork wasnt submitted properly and they had to re run my credit. They sent an email stating that no worries they found another one and would be sending my plates soon. 2 weeks go by and no plates however the repo guy showed up...9 days BEFORE my first payment on the first loan agreement. I had no papers on the second loan and no idea the payment or payment date. I sent the repo guy away as the car was not at my house. I called Elegant over and over to see why they would send a repo guy. No answer. No return call. Finally an email asking that we bring it back to re smog as they messed up the first smog and DMV wouldnt register it...although 2 weeks prior as you recall they said my plates would be on the way. Scheduled the smog appointment with them for Friday just to wake up to the car repoed on Thursday. Why set an appointment and then repo it without warning the next xxxx day. Again called them and got no return call. 3 calls and 5 hours later I have to leave work early and drive 45 minutes to them. I get there and they refuse to speak to me and call the cops on me. lol what jokes. the cops told me to go civil and get WAY more than my deposit I wanted back and would have dropped this all. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY
LOVE MY CAR!!!!!
They're service was excellent. MY car is beautiful, and I'm so looking forward to driving it :) My BMW X5 looks like new...i searched for weeks for this vehicle. So happy with my buying experience
Buyer Beware. Fraudulent Advertising and Charges.
Elegant Auto Sales engages in Misleading and Fraudulent Advertising along with illegal upcharges to a "Auto Purchase Contracts" by adding advertising Car lower car prices then inflating the contract with Accessory fees as a commission fee. On 7/25/2019 I entered into an agreement to purchase a 2010 Mercedes G55 with 75k miles on it from Elegant Auto Sales out of Rancho Cordova. I agreed to a price of $59,999 as stated and advertised with stock factory wheels that were painted black. After my credit was run for quoted price of $59,999 tax and license, the Dealer, "Mike" and "Mark", added a $999.00 tire/accessories charge to the deal and inflated the cash price to $60,999. Upon noticing the error, I asked them to remove this upsell from contract but they refused , stating it was a Wheel/Accessory charge since the car had upgrades. But the wheels on the car and pictured on the WEB advertisements where factory OEM wheels that someone had simply painted black, and no upgrades to the wheels or tires were being performed as part of some accessory upgrades or addon package. The car was sold as-is, and as-pictured with Original Factory OEM wheels and Tires. The purchase price of a $59,999 cash price Tax and license was agreed to before my credit was run. If the dealers price would have been $60,999 I never would have agreed to a credit check that ultimately dinged by credit and has caused me harm in purchasing a new car. Used/New Car dealers can't just add on forced accessories charged of $999 (masked as commission fees) and inflate the price just before customer is about to sign and close the purchase. This was definitely a bait and switch on me and Elegant Auto Sales needs to be reprimanded. They refused to remove the $999 fee stating it was a legal upcharge, but couldn't explain what the upcharge was for and what I was buying or adding on to the car.
