Excellent experience with purchase of used vehicle. No small accomplishment in these times. Communication excellent. Very happy with salesperson (Jack). Smart and easy going. Provided straightforward answers and useful insights. Efficient business office--offered very low rate and had documents ready to move along quickly. Price was on point. Highly recommended.

Went in to buy a used Tundra. Got there, and the battery was dead. After negotiations were done, they still replaced the battery. Awesome experience, best I’ve had in awhile. I’ll be back.

I purchased my 3rd used car in five years from Efkamp Auto Sales LLC today 1/03/20. I shopped @Efkamp on the Merle Hay Strip knowing they'd have a selection of the absolute finest used cars available in the Des Moines Metro area. Not only was I thrilled to find a selection of Luxury vehicles I could afford; I was able to purchase a vehicle beyond anything I imagined I'd be driving today! Many thanks to Randy Efkamp and his son Taylor for all your help today. I'll be back in a year or so when my son needs his first car! Happy New Year!!!

Some eight years ago I bought a silver Honda CR-V from owner Randy Efkamp. In those days he was more of a one-man shop. I found the car on the Internet, priced right and clean. I drove it for nearly five years with normal maintenance for a car being driven 175,000 miles. Now I needed a vehicle with a bit more umph for towing a pontoon boat. Again I searched the Internet, this time for a Toyota Highlander, and again Efkamp Auto turned up with a car I was interested in buying. By this time I had shopped around and looked at other vehicles in the same mid-size SUV class. I now live 250 miles away from Des Moines so I called Randy Efkamp by phone. We discussed trading my aging CR-V for his candy apple red Highlander, for which he said he’d allow more trade-in value than other dealers. That was sight unseen except for a handful of high quality photos that I emailed to him. I drove to Efkamp Auto, met his staff and took the Highlander for a test drive. The rest you could say is history, I bought it, except after driving the car for a few weeks the rear window wiper failed to operate. A replacement wasn’t cheap. When I finally tracked down a unit it was priced at $156. I called Randy and told him that the wiper quit working and its cost. He immediately wrote and mailed me a check for the amount. How many used car dealers do that kind of thing? I’m happy to recommend Efkamp Auto for a satisfying car deal.
