Shared on Google Reviews and Yelp as well. Just want to get the word out. Worked with salesman (Brandon Simkins) and sales manager (Shane McCollow) to agree on a purchase price for a new RAV4. They took a $1000 deposit to secure the sale. Later in the evening I get a call from my salesmen who tells me the General Sales Manager said he can't sell the car because I don't have a trade-in, as they are so short on cars. I talked to the Sales Manager and he said that he can't sell the car for full MSRP like we agreed...it has to be a minimum of $1000 over MSRP without a trade in. They then refunded my down payment. We had a contract with a down payment, and they decide they could squeeze a little more money out of someone else. Unbelievable. Shady business practice, lack of values and integrity. Will seek assistance from the Consumer Protection Agency, as I have documents and a receipt. All so they could make $1000 more. Plus, I am a previous customer. Be very leary, as they don't care about you....just a few extra dollars.

Karl, Thank you for the review. These are unprecedented times in the auto industry, as I’m sure you are aware. Shane quoted you a price with a trade in. Your deposit was taken the following day by a different manager, when Shane was off, with no trade in. We promptly refunded you your deposit. There is a huge shortage of used and new vehicles across the country, which is why almost every dealer has no stock to offer to customers. We think you’ll find it more common than not that most dealers are charging thousands above MSRP, but also not even allowing out of town customers to purchase a new vehicle off their lot. We wish you the best of luck car shopping.

I agree that these are unprecedented times in the auto industry. However, the times should not deter you from your values as an organization. I did not indicate I had a trade-in, and I am not from out of state. We arrived at a deal with a down payment. If there was an error by your manager, then you should have honored the agreement and made the necessary training/communication with your team...not canceled the sale. It is unfathomable that you canceled a deal based on your error so you could get an extra $1000 from someone else. You aren't disputing any of the facts, and the reality that you don't understand this was an awful decision/practice is a real head-scratcher.

Forget the deal….we can make a few extra $$

I ended up in my dream RAV-4 in no time with Whitney's help. As a woman, it was so awesome to be able to work through the car buying process with another woman. Whitney is knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and fun to be around! I would definitely go to Deery for future trade in or purchase.

Love our "new" Jeep

Nathan helped us from the minute we pulled on the lot until we drove off with our new car! He listened to what we wanted and shared the many options the dealership offers. We were slightly disappointed with how the car was detailed as there was still alot of dirt and trash under the seats.

Buyer Beware! Looking to buy a used 2014 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet Base 2D Sport Utility vehicle. Asked salesperson(s) via phone & text about condition of car & specifically the convertible top. Told " The convertible top as well as the other features work as they should". Salesperson knew we were traveling 3 ½ hrs one way to come buy the vehicle. When we arrived, Air bag light on dash and convertible top with duct tape, catching, leaking, seams torn. Sales Manager didn’t bother to see us or apologize. Absolutely Terrible Customer Service and dishonest! Wasted an entire Saturday, traveling in very bad weather, plus GAS, food, and our time. Thankful we did NOT buy a car from them!

You also told our staff that you were planning to have a relative of yours come see the vehicle before you made the trip to see it in person (this must not have happened either). How far out you spanned your search to come across a vehicle from such a distance is entirely out of our control."
