I saw a car online. It was $85k. I called about it and...

I saw a car online. It was $85k. I called about it and was told it was in mint condition. I could put down a $500 deposit and they would hold the car. I was told if the car was misrepresented and wasn't mint, I could get my deposit back. So I go the next day and look at it and it is not in mint condition. I found one issue outside and several inside, with a chunk of leather missing from the console. So I decided to walk since I'm supposed to get the deposit back. GM calls me about an hour later wanting to discuss things and at this point says "You aren't getting the deposit back." I tell him fine, I'll take the car but they either need to fix the issues I found or discount it accordingly. The GM decides to fix things. I waited several days and called back. Supposedly the car was on sale by consignment and the owner changed his mind about selling. I had to ask about my deposit and they finally agreed to return it. Everything about this deal was shady.

Just got home with a Audi Q5 - who knows if the car will turn out OK - the only good thing I have to say about this place is the car made the trip from Texas home to Missouri. Bottom line is that the biggest mistake is that I trusted them too much when they said it was a clean car. Maybe it could have been a clean car if they did the normal prep and detailing - but since I bought the car right after they got it in and listed it - they may have just skipped that to save that cost. Who knows - but the window were dirty - there is cat or dog hair in the car and there were a lot of scuffs and scrapes that my guess is could have been fixed if they had taken the time to have it done. They sent me a video of the car and some pictures - but none showed the scraped on the front and rear bumper. Good for them - they got me. Bad for me that I trusted them. The biggest issue came when they were supposed to have the car shipped to me. There was one delay because of bad weather in Dallas. No problem. Couple days later I got a call that the car was being loaded on the truck and would be there sometime the next day - so somebody needed to be around the house for the delivery. No problem - we waited around the house - all day. NO CAR SHOWED UP AND NO PHONE CALL. The next morning - I started calling and texting to see where the car was and when it would be delivered. First answer I got was that the salesman would be at the office at 10:30 and let me know what he could find out. At 11:30 I called and left a message with the receptionist asking someone to call. At 1:30 I finally talked to somebody who was able to find out where the car was -- IT WAS STILL ON THEIR LOT - IT HAD NEVER LEFT. I told them we would fly down the next day and get the car (at this point they have my money and I want to make sure that I am actually going to get the car). They agreed to refund the money for the transport and were frustrated that I wanted them to have a check for me to pick up when I got the car. When I got down there the next day - front tires are bald and like I said above - the car had not really been cleaned up the way they said it would. Bottom line -- if you really like doing business with places that do the bear minimum and are looking to shoot angles - this place is perfect for you. If you want people who will just be honest with you and try to do a good job for their customer - look for another place because Dallas Autos Direct is not that.

Third place is a str8 rip off. Buyers beware. Get your car checked out before u buy. They tried to sale me a car with engine seal leak. And the repairs was worth more than the car. And they didn’t want to give me back my deposit. I’m glad I didn’t sign anything. I got my 500$ back. Don’t trust these guys. These rating are false

Came in to look at 3 advertised Infinity SUV's. One advertised on FB, then told on arrival the price was not correct and was 2k more. The older one showed was in poor condition, the passenger seat was in 'recline' position, and unuseable. Really? You want to sell this?!? Hideous.

Fred Oden did a phenomenal job with his prospecting on me and my car search. He worked hard not loosing an opportunity. Made sure that we both had masks on the entire purchase due to COVID 19. I was in and out and there wasn't any hassle. I came in wanting one car and came out with another. But overall. Was very pleased with my business dealings and car deal I got. Dallas Autos Direct's entire staff does a good job making the car buying process painless!

Found a Mercedes GL350 online at Dallas Autos Direct. Was Pre-Approved by 2 finance companies before I went to test drive.. Sam made a copy of my Drivers License and sent me and my wife on a test drive.. Fell in love with the car, was ready to buy... I took my Pre-Approved offer in and JB (Hakem) looked at my interest rate and said oh no you can do better. He picked up the phone and made 2 phone calls, then he printed out a paper and told me to go .5 miles down the road to InTouch Credit Union and see Stella she will take care of me... Long story short I was ready to pay 550.00 a month for this vehicle, after the small detour I am now paying 350.00 a month with 1/4 of the interest rate.. So I am ready to give Dallas Autos Direct a 10 Star Review, however my wife is like no, not till be get the vehicle checked out.. So yesterday I took it to Park Place Mercedes for a B1 Service and check out.. Well of course after a 650.00 oil and filter change (it is a diesel) we pick it up today.. The service adviser tells me we have a real nice GL and we have nothing to worry about driving this cross country as we had asked him about.. Dallas Autos Direct will be my first call when I am looking for my next vehicle..

Short story: I came in to look at a used car and got directed to another one. I later find out the one I came in to see had hail damage (which was not disclosed on the Cars.com listing). They also give you the hard sell. Long story: I was buying a car for my daughter before she went off to college. We came in to look at a 2008 Honda CR-V. We were looking at a couple of different cars yesterday and I couldn't remember if the car was white or silver. I had called ahead to let them know the car I was interested in and to confirm it was still there. When we arrived, we were shown a white 2009 Honda CR-V. I said I thought the car was a 2008 model; they said no, it's a 2009; sometimes there is a typo with the listings. Cool, I thought, the car is a year newer than I thought. We took the car for a test drive. After getting back, we were chatting with the three salesmen and one of them really starts giving us the hard sell, especially after I told him we had one more car to go look at. He insinuates that the car may not be there if I decide to come back. We go to another dealership and look at another car, which we quickly rule out. So, we head back to buy the CR-V from these guys. While we are signing the papers, I see the odometer statement. The car I'm in the process of buying has 135k miles. The one I came in to see had 81k. I start to freak out. Now, mind you, I should have checked the odometer. And I could have walked away from the deal right then. That's on me. But these guys knew their inventory very well, as they had earlier told us about a couple of other vehicles, citing the year, make, model, and miles from memory. I stop just short of giving them the check (I was paying cash) and we go look at the 2008 CR-V with 81k miles. It looks terrible. It has hail damage and rust that is not shown in the pictures (I went back and double-checked the listing today). So now I have a dilemma: walk away from the vehicle that my daughter has not gotten all excited about or go ahead and purchase the one with 135k miles, even though I was looking for something under 100k. I went ahead and bought it. Only time will tell whether this was a wise decision. But I think these guys are your typical car salesmen, they tell you whatever they want to get the sale.

You will not find a better dealer for the price, selection, and service. Found the car I love at an unbelievable price; and in a very short period of time, I was driving it home. If you are in the market for a car or just looking, I highly recommend you give them a call. Stop looking for a dealership you found the perfect one. Thank me later.
