Great Place To Do Business.
Working with the staff at Coughlin Ford in Circleville, Oh was a very easy transaction. Barbie, the sales Lady, was very professional, knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations. I recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a vehicle.
I bought my new 2022 GMC Sierra from Coughlin Circleville
I bought my new 2022 GMC Sierra from Coughlin Circleville and couldn’t be happier! Randy Reece was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive to my questions even on his days off. He also made me feel comfortable with the deal that we made. Still even after the sale he checked in with me a couple days later to see how I was enjoying the truck! That is how you know someone cares about what they sell and the customer. I will be giving my business to them again when my time comes for another vehicle!

Excellent Customer Service by Service Manager
I contacted Mandy the service adviser who i know from her previous employer due to the fact that she took great care of me at that location and she took care of my needs at Coughlin Ford. We still have an outstanding item but its only due to not having the part from Ford. I will call on Mandy again even now that its farther than other dealerships.
Dealership's Quality of Service Dissipated Post Sa
I have mixed feelings about Coughlin Circleville GM. I bought a used 2015 Chevy Colorado from them. I dealt mostly with the salesman Tom. Cars.com had listed the vehicle only as a "Fair Deal". We had friendly and honest back-and-forth negotiation regarding the price of the truck. I had brought with me several documents showing the honest value of the truck. We discussed the documents and came to an agreement on the price. I observed some noticeable scratches on the exterior passenger side of the truck. I discussed this with Tom and he agreed that the shop would buff out the scratches and clean up the truck. I had good experiences with the finance staff during financing. Here is where the negative experiences with Tom and the dealership start. I was on my drive home, I hadn't gotten 20 minutes from the dealership, my windows began to fog up so I turned on the defrost. After about a minute of the defrost being on, the window cracked from one side to the other, right above the defrost. The dealership was closed and the staff had already gone home so I called the next morning. When I called the next morning, I spoke with Tom and explained what had happened. He began to insinuate that it was somehow my fault because I had the defrost on and it was really cold outside. After some back-and-forth, Coughlin agreed to replace the windshield. I would just think that I dealership that claims you are a valued costumer, wouldn't hesitate to replace the windshield, given the circumstances that had happened. After I called about the windshield, I noticed more issues with the truck. The driver and passenger side windows were severely scratched. I called Tom again to discuss the damage. We discussed the windows having tint, that the scratches may just be in the tint, and I asked whether they would replace the tint in the two windows. I was told they wouldn't. He said that the tint was aftermarket and that they didn't do tinting at their shop. Why even go check to see if they could replace the tinting if they didn't do tinting? Tom began to get annoyed with me and began to get express his annoyance. He said things along the lines of "We came off the price for you", something they agreed to after I showed numerous documents showing the truck was overpriced. He said "we're already replacing the windshield and buffing the scratches, that's not free to us", the scratches being buffed we had agreed upon for the price of the truck and the windshield had an obvious defect upon purchase. He also said something along the lines of "It's only along the lines of $100 to replace the tint". The dealership should be willing to cover the cost of fixing the tint so that the vehicle I just purchased doesn't have windows that are severely scratched. I've had dealerships fix significant issues post sale and this one treats me like I'm an annoyance. Tom and the dealership came off like I should be grateful they're even doing anything at all, instead of appreciating that I chose to buy a vehicle from them. I called Tom again their next business day about scheduling the window replacement and buff/clean. In the time since our last phone call, I had observed more noticeable scratches on the driver side of the vehicle. It is currently difficult to identify scratches since the vehicle hasn't been washed and I can't wash it due to the crack and freezing temperatures. I asked about those getting buffed along with the rest of the scratches and Tom's response was "Well we agreed to buff out the passenger side scratches. We'll have to see about those." I asked about the windshield replacement and he said that there were still working on scheduling it. The crack's getting worse due to moisture getting in the crack and freezing and they don't seem to be in a hurry to get me scheduled. It's been another showing, post sale, that this dealership doesn't seem to value my business as a costumer.
Excellent service in times of trouble
Long story short, my wheel bearing went out on a trip to Hocking Hills. We limped to our cabin, and got my truck towed to Coughlin Ford the next day. We didn't arrive at the dealership until 4PM, getting close to closing time. I described my issue, and told them I was stuck in the Hocking Hills area, with just this vehicle, 200 or so miles from home (Toledo, OH)! Mike (service desk) was super helpful, and they got their top mechanic on the job right away. It took about an hour and a half to fix the wheel bearing (they had to order the part and get it there), and by 5:30 it was done! Mike showed me my bill, and they only charged me for an hour of service labor, plus the part. WAY cheaper than I was fearing. Super fast, very understanding and nice, worked with me, didn't gouge me in any way, and were a real blessing in my time of crisis. Heartily recommend. I wish more dealerships like this. Excellent work, and very appreciated, Coughlin Ford! Thanks, Mike!
My experience was awesome. My sales person Tom was great. Every email and phone call were answered quickly and honestly. Im a sales manager at another dealership and would highly recommend Tom and his staff.
We moved from out of state and brought with us a Ford we bought while living out of state. We bought the service package with the car, and Coughlin was very helpful in honoring the service. I realize they were obligated, but their service department identified all of the services and took care of them. They treated us just like we bought the car from them.
