I purchased a used car from Coggin Saturday June 5th 2021 which I figured would be a professional experience since I have a 700 credit score, but it turned for the worst very fast. My salesman was very nice and informative but the used car Manager was rude and unprofessional to say the least during both encounters. The Used car director on the other hand was fair and respectful. The vehicle I purchased has a major safety issue which appeared the next day in which the air suspension will not activate sporadically. When this occurs you can not exceed 35 miles per hour and the car reduced speed on me while I was driving. I immediately made the dealer aware and was told to bring the car to services on Monday because this was Sunday in which I fully understood the reasoning. Monday morning I brought the vehicle to be inspected and the Sales Manager told me (while spitting dip residue in the trash can! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL) I have two options for you 1. The car was purchased as is DEAL WITH IT. 2. To return the car, receive my trade-in back and reverse the deal. At this point I'm thinking these are tactics used at smaller dealerships with sub-prime borrowers. As I exited I thought it took me 6 hours in which 4 were waiting to sign papers because they only had 1 finance guy (who was also very professional) to complete the deal. I had removed gate tags, stickers and other tangible identification paraphernalia from the other vehicle to the new one. I did not want to back out of the deal, all I wanted was for the issue to be addressed as it was known before the car was sold. I had it scanned at a shop which reported the codes were erased a few days prior but the cars internal CPU had recorded a permanent record of the event. PROOF THEY KNEW THE ISSUE WHEN THEY SOLD IT TO ME AND DID NOT DISCLOSE IT EVEN AFTER I ASKED ABOUT THAT VERY ISSUE while noticing the car sitting a little low in the front end at the park position. I would not recommend doing business with Coggin GMC on Blanding BLVD, if you are looking for fair, professional and quality products and service this is not the business. I would hope they contact me to resolve this matter, if not I have the means to pursue other measures to inform any unsuspecting consumer of what lies ahead.

Bought a new 2019 gmc paid for rim protection one year later I bought new tires the rims are leaking they recommended I replace all rims but then told me rim protection is only for like if I hit a pot hole exact words took days for them to contact me back and Place is very dirty

Passenger side airbag replacement recall issue.

Stopped at the dealership in response to a notification of a recall on Wednesday February 17th to make an appointment for having the service performed. Appointment was made for Monday February 22. Arrived on time on Monday. Was advised that the replacement part was not available. Another appointment was made for Friday the 26th. On my way home from there I stopped at Gordon Chevrolet to see if they would do the work. They had the part and scheduled to have the work performed on Wednesday the 24th. I kept the appointment and the work was performed. I hope this help explain the reason for the poor rating I gave your service department.

Bad Dealership!

This dealership was selling a 2013 Ford Explorer for $9988 that I was interested in then decided to raise the price to $11898 because the market went up while looking at the car. The sales person Curtis said he would check if I could get that price and then said no but they could knock off a hundred dollars. What??!!! This is not how to do business! That’s the price you quoted me and that’s the price I should get! Not raise the price on a customer because you think the market went up! I guess these seller will realize the market is down and the economy is hurt during this time of pandemic! People won’t tolerate business that treat customers this way. If I were you I would look else where to buy a car and find a dealership that doesn’t give you bs when they raise the price on you.

The service was excellent and I was provided with a ride home while my suv was being serviced. When it was ready I was picked up at home and brought back to the dealership where my clean and shiny car was waiting for me. The checkout process was less than 2 minutes. I was able to text questions to my service advisor while they were working on my suv which is extremely convenient. I recommend this place even if you do not have a GMC or Buick. Best service department I have ever encountered!
